    What Minecraft should have evolved to. The game was apparently stagnant in alpha (PC) but the PS4 release changed this. Bustling markets, action packed hunts, and overwhelming creativity. I got lost for hours just exploring cities and landscapes. Definitely worth the $50 price on Playstation. The game is consistently changing from players architecture.     A compelling crafting/building MMO.

    Boundless is a very interesting game. What it does well can kind of sneak up on you. The basic gameplay loop is nothing we haven't seen before -- gather resources with tools, craft stations to craft items to craft better tools. Where Boundless really shines is with its multiplayer focus. Players are encouraged to work together to build settlements,    A compelling crafting/building MMO.

    Boundless is a very interesting game. What it does well can kind of sneak up on you. The basic gameplay loop is nothing we haven't seen before -- gather resources with tools, craft stations to craft items to craft better tools.

    Where Boundless really shines is with its multiplayer focus. Players are encouraged to work together to build settlements, and it makes approaching and cooperating with total strangers quite easy. Everyone wants to see the settlements grow, wants to see the cities and planets progress. I've made friends with countless strangers, and you'll find most are eager to help you in whatever way they can. It's quite an interesting and friendly community.

    Seamless portals can connect players to different worlds. You'll find player-created portal networks that connect to trade hubs. This part of the game is impressive, and really ties together the player-economy.

    To unlock the full potential of Boundless requires significant time investment. If you don't tolerate the familiar grind, you might struggle to appreciate the game.

    You may have seen some discussion of Boundless being pay-to-win, or pay-to-continue. I really don't know where people get that impression. As you level up, you receive a constant stream of cubits, in-game currency that allows you to permanently claim land for building. Buying cubits with real money really wouldn't give you much of an advantage at all, in my opinion.

    Boundless is a fairly ambitious twist on the Minecraft/Survival game genre. I think it works, due to the strength of it's MMO features and outstanding community.    … Expand

    Boundless is a minecraft like mmo with a twist here you play as your on created character and you set of into a world filled of other players, claiming your base, gathering materials, and just exploring the seemingly vast world There are quests and a leveling system, there’s a skill tree… all of those things in the background to keep you pushing    Boundless

    There are quests and a leveling system, there’s a skill tree… all of those things in the background to keep you pushing forward and exploring…
    and sadly I feel like this game needs it…
    there just isn’t the completeness you get from the feeling of minecraft…
    the world doesn’t feel carefully balanced
    but much like minecraft you can go out, gather materials , craft them on the go as well as back at your base, craft tools that are better for mining certain materials…
    it’s the same idea, but I just didn’t feel the magic or wonder of the worlds…
    much like a game boundless also borrows ideas from.. No man’s sky…
    no man’s sky really starts out as a mystery but you quickly realized not much was going on... and I got the same feeling here…
    the draw distance is pretty mediocre so theres never anything off in the distance catching your eye and pulling you towards it..
    What this game does borrow from the likes of nomans sky is the ability to travel to different planets…
    You can craft what’s known as a warp augment, point it at the sky at night towards a planet and travel there…
    unfortunately crafting such a tool will take hours of real time…
    gathering the materials and then crafting the items needed to make the end product…
    however all hope isn’t lost…
    as an mmo you have the option to make portals accessible for other players in the world..
    you can travel to different planets through these portals, discover new planets and hostile or friendly creatures…
    but again.. nothing was pulling at me..
    I wasn’t that interested in checking things out or exploring…
    I ultimately appreciate boundless because of its minecrafty meets no man’s sky aspects…
    you get to build with different looking materials from different planets… you can really craft some cool buildings, materials are very accessible… if you think of something you just gotta put in the little effort to build it
    But I just feel its missing the magic and wonder a game like minecraft has…
    however this is probably the most enjoyable minecraft like mmo on consoles…
    and this is ultimately its greatest selling point…
    it does a great job of almost bringing the minecraft pc experience to consoles
    I give boundless
    a 6.5/10    … Expand

    Boundless is a game heavy on exploration and crafting. The existence of craft able portals to other worlds extends the scope considerably, but obtuse recipes and unintuitive menus dampen the enthusiasm somewhat.

    Boundless is a game that sets out to join the crowded genre of sandbox building. Mechanically the title needs some work, and issues such as frequent texture pop-in, gameplay pacing, and poor sound design bring the game down a fair few notches, but there's still some fun to be had in what is surprisingly unique experience.
