    Ok..It looks good and some of the VR gaming sequences are good fun...However, to get to the gaming you'll have to suffer endless and boring cutscenes from a B-movie you will want to skip...but can't. Also the movement is awkward and causes slight motion sickness for me. Resident Evil does this far better. I really wanted to like this, but the endless cut scenes ruins it for me.

    Great game so far, entretaining and fun, though the controls are a bit cluncky,
    HOWEVER it is currently full of gamebreaking bugs.
    Had to reload several times due to bugs. Lost about two hours of gameplay on one occasion.     This game is mostly dull cinemas and picking locks. Needs more action. Reloading and holstering guns is glitchy. Yes, this game has it's moments but they are few and far between.

    After 5 to 6 hours, I completed the story for B&T and am currently working on platinum. I really enjoyed my time with Blood & Truth and wanted to share my thoughts. So here's how I rate this action packed, narrative driven PSVR game by London Studios:

    Graphics, 8.5: easily the best realism based graphics on the PSVR to date. Sound/Music, 8: awesome implementation of 3D audio; the    After 5 to 6 hours, I completed the story for B&T and am currently working on platinum. I really enjoyed my time with Blood & Truth and wanted to share my thoughts. So here's how I rate this action packed, narrative driven PSVR game by London Studios:

    Graphics, 8.5: easily the best realism based graphics on the PSVR to date.
    Sound/Music, 8: awesome implementation of 3D audio; the music suits the action tempo well.
    Story, 9: fantastic narrative; extremely well acted mocap performances.
    Gameplay/Combat, 7: stealth is fun; well paced; satisfying combat; reloading is rough; other issues.
    Fun/immersion, 8: Combat is exhilarating when it works; cutscenes are movie-like, very immersive.

    Overall, Blood & Truth is a solid, well polished PSVR game despite a few combat issues. I recommend the game to all PSVR owners including those who get motion sickness easily. It's not a system seller by itself, but along with Astrobots and Firewall, it makes the PSVR impossible to ignore.    … Expand

    The most fun and immersive VR experience I've played to date! And after the main story is completed there's a lot of replay-ability with challenges, collectibles and more. I felt like John Wick playing this, doing trick shots and dodging bullets. So good.

    Just an amazing game with all the thrills and excitement everybody expected coming from the hype of London Heist. This is an action movie that you get dropped in the middle of to fend for yourself!! John Wick style!!

    This game is absolutely amazing. But I would recommend playing it with the PS MoveControllers
    Good story. Great characters. And the gameplay is just on point.
    You feel like a badass action movie hero. Dual wield pistols, shoot grenades out of the air, holster your empty pistols and grab some nice sawed off shotguns from your back that save the day. All possible with simple movements in    This game is absolutely amazing. But I would recommend playing it with the PS MoveControllers

    A showcase of what VR can achieve. An over the top action shooter with some amazing set pieces and movie like action scenes. It's all handled so well by the dev team to keep motion sickness at bay. The voice work and acting is top of the range...film quality acting and stunning detail. The shooting feels good,the climbing and door picking mini games are not intrusive and the design of theA showcase of what VR can achieve.     Amazing right from the first second you start up the game. The UI is beautiful, voice acting is top notch and the fact they used real actors is a major +1. This might be the best PSVR game to date in my opinion.

If immersion is your thing, than B&T succeeds at putting the player in the shoes of the playable character amidst all the action and chaos you’d find in your typical Bond movie. The shooting is    Blood And Truth is a very exciting, fun and polished experience to be had on the PSVR.

    It does very few things to change up the VR scene but what it does, it does very well. (Most of the time.) If immersion is your thing, than B&T succeeds at putting the player in the shoes of the playable character amidst all the action and chaos you’d find in your typical Bond movie.

    The shooting is extremely satisfying, although aiming with sights seems a bit off at the moment. As if you need to aim slightly higher than you’d think you would. There’s larger weapons, that require you to use your second hand to hold down for Increased accuracy, or, in the case of the pump shotgun, to reload, by pulling back the reload chamber with your second hand to put in your next shell. It feels great when this all works, but there’s a real disconnect between you and the gun when using two move controllers to hold a two handed weapons. Unlike the aim controller, which is built for it. Reloading manually is awesome as well, although I wish the ability to manually eject the current magazine before you reload was a feature like it was in the developers “London Heist” game. Right now, you can reload another clip into a gun that’s already loaded, or the gun automatically ejects it’s mag when your clip is empty. Not a big deal, but something I wished to see.

    There’s a story to be had here too. It’s intentionally cliche, putting you through all the beats you would see in any action movie, unapologetically so. But this doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing because we’ve seen it all before, because you haven’t seen it in VR. Jumping through windows, highway car shootouts, explosions and helicopters. It’s all so exhilarating when you’re there. Definitely not something you could experience any other way. It’s important to note that this isn’t a game that utilizes free movement, or full locomotion. This game uses a “node” like system, where you face and tap a button to move in a direction of pre-designated areas. This was definitely a choice that helps the game. As I don’t see any other way you could get this tight of an experience with free movement.

    Going forward from here, I think the company should focus more on exploring the things you can do in VR. Since this title was in development for so long, a lot of its features have been done before, to mostly better results. The difference being, B&T brings all these features together better than the other VR titles, where they only really have one polished aspect in a pile of mediocrity. Such as great gunplay, and little to no story, or vice versa. It’s a definite recommend from me.    … Expand

That Spider man meem from journos, "It really makes you feel like..." is actually true here, this really makes you feel like a soldier/Gansta/bad ass with a gun. Might just be my favourite VR game that doesn't have light sabers. This game is the Astro bot of the FPS genre and although it is on rails toAbsolutely phenomenal.     Unfortunately got to toss my hat in the negative here. After 60-90 minutes, I would return the game if I could. It is very on rails, and VR has moved beyond this... gaming is beyond this. There’s a part where you walk in on a gangster you’re trying to apprehend, and someone tells you over the radio “we need him alive!” so I shoot the guy three times in the leg and then it says “mission failed: you killed jimmy.” No! I stopped him from running! Once the game reloaded, I could now see that they intended for this to be a long, on rails chase sequence. My solution was more logical than what the game had in mind. This doesn’t work in VR because they’re asking you to be stupid in first person. People make dumb decisions in horror movies, and it’s ok because they’re not us. When you have to be the one in the game doing the thing you wouldn’t normally do, it creates an uncanny valley that’s alienating.

    With that venom spewed, I will still compliment the developers on making a game that seems competent and successful at what it sets out to do. They went all in on this concept and it feels very polished. If you are interested in a VR time crisis, light gun shooter , with a lot more interaction, this is an epic version of that. I will finish the game, and if my opinion improves I will update this review. But I wanted to get this out here for anyone on the fence so you can see it’s not the 10/10 VR defining experience some reviews make it out to be.    … Expand

    If you enjoyed playing through the VR worlds london heist and wished it could be longer then then you will definitely enjoy Blood & Truth. Making improvements on the gameplay systems established in the london heist, B&T tightens the experience making great improvements. B&T is an incredibly fun 'on rails' shooting experience harking back to the days of virtua cop, time crisis, house of the dead and mixes it with well produced cut scenes in 'lock stock and two smoking barrels' flavour. Its a short experience 5 hours or so, but a memorable one.

    However it is not the perfect experience some reviews would have you believe (usual PSVR + move controller tracking issues aside), I encountered 3 game breaking crashes on the latest update and the physics glitch around on occasion (mostly when throwing the many interactive objects you find lying around). As an 'on rails' game I can see that the teleport system is integral to the gameplay but I felt using this took me out of the immersion of the story. If you can forgive these minor flaws and accept the arcade nature of what is here Blood & Truth really is an incredible experience. Cannot wait to see what these guys can do with PS5 hardware!    … Expand

This also affected the sniper rifle, unfortunately. Maybe putting the camera above the TV could help, it was just not clear to me if I should do it.

    The graphics are good, but backgrounds look like giant JPG's sometimes...I guess there's not much to do about it currently.

    I do hope this game sells good, because I want a sequel on the PS5.    … Expand

    The Gameplay might be rather simple but it succeeds in one thing like none other: It puts you into the middle of an action movie! And that just feels awesome!

    Unfortunately this great trip is over after only 5-6 hours. But I'll definitely go for a second run.

    Story is surprisingly good.

    The visuals are great but I can’t stand the node movement. The whole thing just felt really stiff And unintuitive. I also found the aiming to be more difficult than it should be. For me Farpoint is a much better game.

The positioning of your load out floats around you, objects sink into tables when you put them down, throwing things works 2/3rds of the time.(Not good when grenades fall to your feet.)The crosshairs sometimes can’t be seen depending on the color of what you’re aiming at. The only reason this doesn't get a 10 is because it uses the PSVR tracking, which occasionally breaks immersion, especially when trying to look down the sight on a 2 handed weapon.

    We just need PSVR2 on PS5 with different tracking and    I real rollercoaster ride of a game.     This game is a peice of s***. How do you expect to reload when the ammo appears in a different spot every f*cking time. I couldn't even get past the first part. You need the most still f*cking hands to play this game. F*ck this game and f*ck the person that came up with it.

    Read CalvinCracks review, because he is really spot on. People who think this is the pinnacle og VR gaming have most probably not tried an aimcontroller and a game like Farpoint. This game would have been a blast - 5 Years ago. The on rail gameplay just dont work for me. And the constant changing between standing and crouching makes neither position ideal. Go buy an aim controller

    I’ll be honest, I didn’t know what this was until about a month ago. This past Christmas, when my brother and I asked for a PlayStation VR, the main thing we wanted out of it was a bundle that had all the accessories we needed out of the box: the headset, the camera, and the two PlayStation Moves. And while certain game bundles seemed enticing, we weren’t picky about the particular gamesI’ll be honest, I didn’t know what this was until about a month ago. This past Christmas, when my brother and I asked for a PlayStation VR, the main thing we wanted out of it was a bundle that had all the accessories we needed out of the box: the headset, the camera, and the two PlayStation Moves. And while certain game bundles seemed enticing, we weren’t picky about the particular games in the bundle, because it’s good to try new things (that, and the games we did want were cheap, so no sweat in that regard). “Blood & Truth” was one of the two games that came in the bundle (the other being “Everybody’s Golf VR,” which as a non-golfer didn’t really appeal to me), and instead of letting it sit around, I decided that I would give it a fair shake. Honestly, it was a pretty solid experience.
    “Blood & Truth” is an exhilarating title. The game slingshots you into the action early and often, with plenty of chase scenes and action set-pieces that make the game a pretty wild ride. The action is very well-executed, and there’s some very nice pace-breaking moments that actually can make doing mundane tasks pretty interesting. And while the revenge-thriller story is probably nothing you haven’t seen before, I do think it’s decently executed with some solid characterization and great settings. Graphically, this isn’t the best-looking PlayStation 4 game, and I’m sure corners had to be cut when making it VR, but while the models leave a bit to be desired, the game’s London setting is brilliantly-realized and stunningly beautiful. Also, this is just a minor thing, but the sound design and music selection is pretty strong, too. The music flows perfectly with the action, and maybe this is just me, but being thrown into shooting sequences while being backed by grime music was honestly amazing.
    I do have a few qualms with the game that really hold it back for me: for starters, like many PSVR games so far, the frustrating motion tracking can lead to a lot of imprecise aiming, to the point where a lot of the deaths in the game can feel rather unfair. Beyond that, I kinda got the feeling at several points that this game could’ve been totally fine if it wasn’t in VR, and I kinda struggled with understanding what made the use of the PSVR necessary here. Sure, it did keep me on my toes at points, and some of the character interactions scared me, but there were some points where I felt like I was just playing a rather standard FPS game, but I just happened to be wearing a giant headset while doing so.
    Also, this is something I want to mention as a point of contention, because I’m not sure if it’ll affect you as much as it did me: this is probably the most dizzying VR game that I’ve played up to this point. Usually, I can use a VR headset for a good amount of time without feeling any of the after-effects, but “Blood & Truth” was the exception. The game centers a lot around character movement, and there are plenty of times where your character will need to walk, climb, or even jump from high heights, while you as the player stand still and keep your feet planted. I know the game recommends you sit down, but the combat often feels easier when standing, even though the movement left me at times lightheaded and heavy in my legs. I’m kinda getting dizzy just thinking about it. That’s my forewarning: if playing a VR game where your character moves while you don’t makes you feel like you could get dizzy, this might not be the VR game for you.
    Even so, “Blood & Truth” is a nice FPS game that does make some clever use of the PlayStation VR’s technology. Sure, it’s rough around the edges, and there’s a chance the game could’ve worked completely fine if it wasn’t a VR game, but if you have a PSVR and are searching for a fun shooter that isn’t called “SUPERHOT VR,” or you want to see how the VR could handle story-focused games, “Blood & Truth” might be worth checking out. It won’t reinvent the wheel, but it’ll be fun while it lasts.

    No support for the Aim controller in the story, only in shooting galleries, is a let down.

    I am quite new to PSVR, but B&T is easiest the best VR game I have played so far. I recommend it to everyone who does not hate shooters. I've had tons of fun with it and it is definitely a game I will play through more than once.

    One of the best games for VR yet. Incredible writing, compelling and glorious action sequences (and there’s plenty) and overall an overwhelmingly positive and satisfying game experience. If there was ever a reason to buy the PSVR headset, this is it!

    Overall it is a good game but I am writing this review out of desperation. The fights in buildings are easy. I rarely die more than once or twice. And then you have the fights in cars. And there i die 20 times in a row... unable to finish them. Starting over and over again, not even understanding sometimes why I die! Are Sony doing any playtesting? How can you have such a **** balancing.

    A cool VR FPS game, but I don't think any VR games has blown my mind yet - I do not think the tech is there to justify a 10 whatsoever.

    nah it is kinda boring and visuals are not sharp enough. I thought it was my vr's problem but it's not. I feel like I have a number 6 hypermetropia when I play this game. Cutscenes are way too long and you can't skip'em. Finally, sometimes it causes motion sickness when walking.

    Good story and fun, but it controls terrible, so bad that I quit (the only game I remember that I stopped playing due to poor and frustrating controls) its terrible controls are with both the dual shock and with the move controllers, with dual shock even climbing a ladder becomes almost impossible.     An interesting an engaging game. With the VR feature, it really feels like you are there. I also enjoy the gun play. My only gripe is that this is the only game in my library the make my PS4 fan go crazy. Other than that, it's an enjoyable experience.

    This VR experience is a movie and few playing segments. It’s much repetitive as you need to grab pipes to climb walls.. the narrative is boring and the acting is very cliché. The story is cliché and i’ve been surprising myself just playing with my hands in game instead of being interested in the narrative. The gunfights are also boring. I thought the experience was average

    There is a simple scenario but at least it's not a demo
    Gun fight are good even if two hands weapons are horrible to use A good game compare to the rest but a bad game comparé to a non vr game

There are currently many solid VR titels, even on PSVR, with smooth fluid mechanics instead of this old school arcade style stop and shoot. At least build it so you can have the options of both. С экшоном тут все в порядке, графон тут нормальный, тем более как для виара. Игра полностью показывает возможности виара, что классно. Сюжет длится много 8 часов (большая часть игр для виара, длится не более двух часов) за свою цену в 1199 (брал я по скидке) - игра очень не плохая. Эта цена ей в самый раз, покупать её по фулл прайсу глупо, она не стоит этих денег. Сюжет классный, мне понравился, если кратко - Главный герой военный, после операции по спасению друга, ему сообщают, что его отец умер, он едет домой, в Лондон. Его встречает брат. Они там флексят, игра показывает возможности виара. Два брата из компании конкурента, заходят к ним в офис убивают друга семейства и говорят, что бы они подписывали бумаги, что они отдают провление им. Семье это не нравится и они одному брату дают звиздюлей, но он успевает убежать, цель игры - убить второго, главного брата Тони Шарпа, что бы он не захватил компанию семьи.
    В игре все хочется пощупать, поторогать, что одназначно плюс к игре. Как по мне ограбление по лондонски будет даже где то лучше крови и истины, он (ограбление по лондонски) сделан в более мультяшном стиле, нежели blood & Truth, там есть головоломки, что не скажешь о Крове и истине (да, возможно они есть, но я проходил уже давно - мало, что помню) Разработчики такие красавцы, что в 15 минутную игру запихнули, все что можно. (Знаю эти две игры делали одни разработчики). В целом, игра крайне не плоха, и из тех игр в которые я играл в вр - она лучшая. Очень много пасхалак, всяких фич, о которых вы возможно узнаете только в самом конце (как и я о том, что револьверы можно крутить). Советую играть ТОЛЬКО С МУВАМИ, С ДУАЛШОКОМ В КРОВЬ И ИСТИНУ ЛУЧШЕ ВООБЩЕ НЕ ИГРАТЬ, ВСЕ ВПЕЧАТЛЕНИЕ ИСПОРТИТЕ, почему? Потому что уходит почти весь смысл игры.     There are some really cool elements that B&T introduces to the VR gaming world. The story drags itself through the mud at some points, but all-in-all, this is a very fun and engaging shooter that will have you keeping your headset on for hours.

    If you ever have dreamed about to be real inside an action movie then this becomes true with this game. It is purely fun when playing through classical scenes of blockbuster action movies. Absolutely recommended. I also like the additional content with aim controller support, would be nice to use aim controller in story game also.

    Кульминационный момент PSVR игр. Тот момент когда я отлетел спиной в стену, потому что боялся прыгать с парашютом. Довольно банальная история на 6-7 балов. Самая тяжелая стрельба в VR. Но это стоит того чтобы понять, что ты стреляешь как в жизни, косо криво и так далее=) При этом в игре есть кучу других активностей, которые просто заставляют уровни в пол часа длится 2 часа=) Потому что... вот ты нашёл документ, скомкал его, а вон там мусорное ведро, ты его кидаешь и не попадаешь... злишься, тебе обратно телепортируется комок бумаги и ты опять его кидаешь и опять мимо... спустя пол часа ты понимаешь как работает физика в игре... идёшь на сюжетную перестрелку, и к тебе летит граната.. а ты уже знаешь, как работает физика и ловишь гранату и своей же рукой кидаешь её обратно в голову недругу...

    потом ты по стелсу крадёшься и ищешь ключ карту у мирного гражданина, и находишь печеньки=) ну и думаешь ща откушу... и реально откусываешь=)) А потом думаешь.... а можно ещё раз... и откусываешь ещё раз=))) И потом ты понимаешь что игра как бы на время, но тут целая тарелка печенек, а там по любому ачивка.. и ты такой хомячишь печенье на время в две руки=))))

    Или... а вы знали, что это единственная игра где можно врагу выстрелив в пах сделать так чтобы он согнулся? А возможность своими руками разбирать и цеплять апгрейды на оружие, как метро?=)

    Да это просто гениальная игра, и если бы не сюжет, то это был бы шедевр. Пока что это шедевр только геймплейно=) Строго рекомендую, 9 баллов за такой эксклюзив=)    … Expand

    At its core, this isn’t much more than a glorified on-rails shooter but what a shooter this is. Superb set-pieces, tight controls, gorgeous graphics, kickass soundtrack… If you're a fan of the classic arcade light gun games and gangster flicks, this is a total must-have.

    I played few games on vr and this one is def in top 3. For games like this one its worth to have a vr headset. Full of action, diffent locations, many quickevents all you need in good game is here in vr!

    It's pretty good game but nothing amazing. I got this game free with my PSVR Mega Bundle but i didn't had the Move Controllers so i played it with Dualshock 4 and it was HORRIBLE. Just play this game with the Move Controllers please.

    While there’s an inherent fumbliness to Blood & Truth – I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve dropped a grenade under my own ass, my friend – it’s a game that wants you to feel and look cool. When you’re in the zone, it’s the closest to playable John Wick as we’re likely going to get – that is if John Wick liked flipping people off and collecting vape bottles. If you’ve got PSVR, this is the game to show the tech off to all your pals.
