    I really wanted to love this game, but its simply not that good. The combat is simple and mundane, the story is uninspired with almost no voice acting, the lvl and weapon grind is tedious. After about 50 hours once the novelty of a new ae with new systems wore off I realized I just wasn't having fun so i quit. Personally I think FFXIV and ESO are much better MMORPGs and players comingI really wanted to love this game, but its simply not that good.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game is much better than i thought, i came back to change my review after like 60 hours gameplay. Really enjoyable and easy to learn and understand. Not a mess with the different in game type of coins like most mmo, but so fluent and simple to understand, 10 points for that. I was demotivated due to pvp open world but it's like FF14 online onl2with a dark souls and dragon dogma elements and fight system, world, etc... Game is really good, i put 54€ today because of that. Don't miss this game. Monsters are awesome 10+ points for that.… Expand

    some aspects of the game needs improvement ( like terrain graphics ) .the reward system is very good for a persistent player, and the game provides a big variety of things tha someone can do .this is a free rpg game , in which the developers often give many joyfull events that can help and reward the player .

    It was a good game until the devs screwed with the HUD and now it's a piece of crap.if you want a Real MMO play Eso.

    Its a great game . You can customize your character class to suit your playstyle .there are no class limits .you can make your priest a dps or a healer or a well rounded tank . So many things to do in the game .i love it

    There's unmitigated damage per hit. Ranged classes have enemy tracking skills. You can rain of arrows one mob, and it will follow them around and straight out kill them regardless of their defense. Conversely, melee attack incredibly slow and have no tracking mechanic.     Ranged have half the recovery frames as melee. faster attacks, ranged attacks obviously, escapes, slows, snares, warps, juggles, stuns, heals, self sustain for some reason, a crosshair to shoot you with, enemy tracking and scale incredibly well with elemental damage. And for whatever reason now that elemental resist exists their effect HP is more if not on par with a melee class.

    Melee exist to be shot. They have no roots, no snares, no enemy tracking, no reliable distance closers, and hitting enemies pushes them away so they can run away from your combos. You have one stun that doesn't work unless the ground is flat and you have no moves that chain from it. You have a maximum of 2 attacks after the enemy is stunned before they can simply roll away and spam literally any button to almost one shot you. You're also actually squishier than ranged classes for whatever reason due to damage scaling and elemental damage.

    But wait, maybe those class skills will even them out? Melee get more crit damage and attack. Ranged get more crit, more attack, more defense, AND HP. Why ranged get twice the buffs as melee do I have no idea.

    Also at the time of writing the PVP maps are broken causing you to respawn in the air and fall to your death, repeating until the game ends. It's been this way for a while now. Bugs happen that's fine but the fact that something game breaking hasn't been patched shows how much effort is going in and where the priorities are.

    I feel like whoever made the class skills plays ranged and was touched inappropriately be melee at some point in their life and is using this game as a method to get their revenge.

    If you do decide to play this **** game do yourself a favour and pick any ranged class.

    edit: Apparently ranged even gain rep at up to 200% faster than melee. That 50,000 rep that's expected you to grind and time gated can potentially be gained months earlier as a ranged class. Wonderful.    … Expand

    I WANT A REFUND! Is what i wojld say if i spend my hard earned money on this game. Luckily, its free. Still a big waste of my time.

    Garbage combat ruins what the game has to offer. It tried to have Dark Souls combat but nothing works. It's clunky, laggy, repetitive and unresponsive. A shame because the world was interesting to explore. I will never understand why developers bother to release games that don't even get the basics right. How do they expect people to grind in a game where the combat is so janky?

    The gameplay feels slugish and like an early beta, the fighting system is somehow good but it gets repetitive and above all that the fast travel is non existing. I would say skip it or wait until the game is more polished.

    I desperately wanted to like this game, but i cannot tolerate the obvious professional scamming methods paired with low effort game design. There are good parts in this game, for instance you can evade attacks, but not enough to make up for the lack of creativity and fairness (you cannot evade boss attacks like gideons).     Lost the interest for this game as soon as I reached level 31. Feels like a cheap rip off from multiple other games (WoW, Vindictus, Witcher 3) with some slight differences. You can't compare Witcher's combat
    system with this garbage, plus, here, many quests are so dumb and unoriginally written that many of them felt like parodied copies from World of Warcraft. After that, it comes the    Lost the interest for this game as soon as I reached level 31. After that, it comes the repetitiveness, you are going to do the same boring regional quests tones of times for reputation which is needed in order to get the next blessings (which are definitely not worth to grind for for months). Also it gives a very strong feeling of an unfinished game and a cheap rip off from multiple other games, as I said earlier. Finally, as the top cherry on the cake, if you want to report a bug, from tones of, you'll have to dig to find a bug reporting system which gives the impression that they don't want to receive free bug reports from players.    … Expand

    Its pretty good. Would Give it a 7, but putting a 9 to help counter the Negative Nancy bombers. Gameplay is fun enough, controls are good, when its not laggy, which it can be in high pop areas.
    Its borderline pay to win, more, pay for convenience for you can gain it all in game, but you can hold more, level faster, gain gold faster if you pay for the boosts, but for a ftp game, its    Its pretty good.     Still, it's free, and if you have nothing better to do you may have fun for a time.     After playing bdo this game feels like game of the year. The combat is fun and unique. The world feels a bit small with the weird way the map is set up even though its pretty big. The beginning drew me in but i dont play mmos for the story. It looks beautiful and runs beautiful. Give it a try since its free. Its the most fun ive hsd with mmos in a while. Group fights are the best part. My only gripes with the game is the strange progression that pits you against super tough enemies that you need to return to. Also dungeons locking you out of boss fights if someone starts wtf. I havent tried pvp yet and iive only played as the mage and so far at level 31 where the qursts are not as linear making it annoying.… Expand
