Apr 7, 2020Pay to win mostly, it takes so long to get anything because of it, like seriously I love the gameplay and the graphics, if it wasnt so pay to win I would love to play it more

Mar 5, 2019Its just another call of duty, time to kill is WAYYYYYY too short, which kills any bit of fun the game may of had. Servers are dead as well, I used quick join function, i ended up in a deathmatch of just me and one other person. On top of that, its also pay to win. The game had promise but failed to deliver.

+ good graphics
+ dubstep music hangs good with the game
+ cool weapons
+ a lot of modes
+onslaught is really fun
negative
- to long grinding for gear
- bugs
despite to long grinding and bugs its a great free to play option that is worth trying -
Jan 8, 2017Huge free to play game, that offers nothing much but disappointments. Game is played online with others, and it can be a really tedious experience, and involve a lot of frustrated players. Which tends to not lead up to a great experience, and it does not do it this time either.

Mar 3, 2016Cool Game,
Its Like Free Version of Call of Duty Series with no Camping!
and Its Customation Feature is Really Awesome!
and Most Important thing is that Game is Highly Balanced, Stock Guns are not Useless and they are almost power full as others!!!
I Really Love It! -

Jul 15, 2015I really liked thia game more than Warframe and Planetside 2. It just flows theres no learning curve and it is fun. Definitely play it. Good graphics yes it can be a little quirky at some points but if you can run a hadline to the ps4 youll be golden!

Jan 5, 2015I like this game wery much. I played it in first day like 5 hours. Its great. The only thing what isn't so good is the sensitivity when I change it it's still not good for me. But the great thing is that it's free. At least for Ps4.

Nov 18, 2014Great mechanics, great gameplay, great system for purchasing in round items (combat points or CP), but the guns and most items in the market seem too overpriced for the 100-150 gp you get per round

Sep 16, 2014This game is awesome,it's free and in-app purchase are not so expensive. Graphic is ok,similar to a ps3 cod or battlefield and the gameplay is simple but very funny.i reccomend it!!

Sep 4, 2014Runs like absolute crap. If you want the real game, play it on pc. Stutters like crazy, turn into invisible walls when running, warping all over the map, and no, it's not my internet, it's this crappy port of a game. I was excited for this on ps4 as well, but the ps4 can't handle it.

May 28, 2014Great game, bad ass experience everytime, could have more bells and whistles but not really needed with all the customization and plus it's totally Free to play, I downloaded it as soon as my PS4 came home at launch and was like damn this is awesome, a free call of duty type online experience. Downside is the glitches and the lag times and also random server migrations.
-
May 5, 2014Picture a game with the same network issues like call of duty ghost: host migrations, random deaths and massive lag in almost every game but you have to pay for everything like guns, armor etc, that is blacklight retribution in a nutshell.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaMar 3, 2014It lacks the bells and whistles, but give Blacklight a chance and you'll be pleasantly surprised. [January 2014, p79]

games(TM)Jan 23, 2014If you've a passing interest in blasting chumps and don't fancy dropping 50 quid for the privilege, Blacklight: Retribution is a more than serviceable option. [Issue#143, p.105]
-
Jan 21, 2014In its defence, Retribution is free to play – so while it can’t compete with Killzone Shadow Fall, that’s an unfair expectation to begin with. But it’s still a PS4 release, and in this regard feels like a grubby stowaway that’s snuck aboard a glitzy cruise liner bound for the golden shores of next-gen.
