From the first episode of The Fate of Atlantis: Fields of Elysium I waited for bigger. The trailer seemed to very interesting. There are not bad quests, but the world is empty. A plot in the present for show though I hoped that The Fate of Atlantis will begin to move this part of a game somehow. Since Unity there is no development. In general at addition of 2 main disappointments. The first, is that Fields of Elysium missed a lot of things, at Ubisoft finally were given a free hand, and it was already possible to make basic RPG fantasy. And here only rudiments of it. The 2nd disappointment is a tiresome beginning. To look for 3 tombs, it is so boring. And also still action of the first part of addition a little steeply comes to the end. In general not the bad beginning of The Fate of Atlantis. Very much I wait for the second addition, it is much more interesting than Legacy of the First Blade. Expand

The beginning of the episode is quite slow but the new map is beautiful, the enemies are challenging. It feels like "Prince of Persia" (2008) and God of War (2018) in one game It basically what we loved in the original AC Odyssey but improved. I really enjoyed this episode and hope that the next episode will be even better.

I was very surprised with this DLC. Its completely different cup of tea than Legacy of the first blade. it contains completely new locations which are by the way beautiful. Story is catchy, yet kinda slow from start.

As someone already said in review below, it will give you Prince of Persia or God of War vibes. And honestly, i must say that this DLC is better than whole Odyssey game. I

This DLC also contains new enemies - colossus, you will hate them and love them at once.
Because they can really be pain in your a**. So finally, there is something in this game, that will motivate you to at least think about stealth approach.

In the end im going to rate it 8/10. BIG SURPRISE FOR ME

With an epic roster of new enemies and a beautiful zone (the Elyseum in the first entry of this story arc), Fate of Atlantis offers a really good experience, well integrated into the present-days side-story with Layla.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey: The Fate of Atlantis - Episode 1 has its moments, but as a whole, it feels like a missed opportunity. With better storytelling this could have been a truly intriguing player-driven tale, but inconsistent characters and unclear consequences keep things from clicking. Elsewhere, the modern day stuff just doesn't gel, and although the DLC's new location is absolutely stunning, it immediately lacks the life that makes Odyssey's open world so engrossing. All in all, this is an okay start to the Eagle-Bearer's endgame adventure, and we do want to see what Episode 2 brings, but we expected more from such a fantastical outing.
