    Charming characters, lovely world design and snappy combat. The classic premise of a child falling into the family tradition, becoming a guardian of seasons from the little girl playing with figures in her room to bad ass boss fights. With a little genre affinity you can open up to a nostalgic trip of classic world building and quest design. Under the rough shell of some minor animation and ragdoll bugs you will find a beautiful adventure. Many critcs here I think are too harsh when considering the technical issues you can encounter, my experience though was totally fine and some rough edges can't deminish my enjoyment of such a charming game.… Expand

    There's always some new sidequest to complete, place to explore, or collectable to find. Nicely paced story, decent combat. Only thing holding this title back are the sometimes janky animations, and a few unfortunate bugs. Great buy if you can find it on sale, I'd keep an eye out for more titles from this developer in the future. Had fun with this one.

    This game is very good and bring something new to the table with clever puzzles and a very cool main character.

    the season mechanic is really fresh and after few hours of game feels natural. Controls are very snappy. Latest update remove most of the bugs. I don't understand the reviews that says the puzzles and the music are stupid, probably played 10 min and then judge the game.     It's so unfortunate, that game with such great potential didn't implement the whole potential. The tech side of the game is mediocre for sure, and had it the visual design like in Link's Awakening, it would be 8-9 out of 10 for sure. Puzzles are nice, combat works, and cutscenes, to my surprise, are well done.

    With a little spit and polish or perhaps a bigger budget, Ary and the Secret of Seasons could have been a real standout that no Zelda fan should miss. However, at least in its current state, it’s hard to recommend as the game is anything but sunshine and rainbows at the moment. If Ary and the Secret of Seasons sounds like something you’d enjoy, that’s great. But I’d strongly recommend waiting for the game’s developers to iron out the kinks before plunking down your cash.

    There is a great game here, fun combat, interesting mechanics, nice characters and story. Too bad it is buried under so many technical issues and bugs. It might be a good buy after a hefty polish.

    Exiin's first step as an indie studio is not as strong, but it doesnt disappoint either. Ary and the Secret of Seasons is full of new ideas, but the lack of time probably prevented the team from fully developing those ideas, and the result is an unpolished, rushed game that could have been much better.
