    I hadn't heard much about this game until I noticed it had a listing as an upcoming game for the PS4. From what I saw in previews, it looked promising for a GTA Free to Play. Booted it up and tried it out for two hours.

    In my almost 30 years as a gamer, I've never experienced anything as UNPLAYABLE as this title. Remember Playstation Home?! If not, then just imagine listening to a CD or Blu-Ray that was scratched to death with a knife. THAT'S how bad this is. Usually I tend to give things a positive spin, but I'm finding this extremely hard to do.

    The only reason, this didn't get a ZERO or a 1, was because of it's innovative potential, with a cops and criminals focused sandbox. I LOVE the idea, there lots of content in the game, but it's ruined by a poorly designed game. (Which is a head scratcher, as you'd think with a lower focus on graphical power, you'd figure they'd have an optimized experience.)

    A 2, for potential.

    I've been following this game from his original 2010 release, and it's a shame to see is still the same game, with all it's limited interactions from back then, ported to a new engine that can barely keep the frames on 10 per second.

    I had high hopes that being adapted to consoles would force devs to polish the roughness, but it just seems like a lazy port. I hear all the time that this is a "soft launch" aiming to test the game in its new platform and the real release is a month from now, but I also see they didn't shy away from cramming micro-transactions in it, which to me, is inexcusable.

    I was hoping this to be the closest to a definitive version we could possibly get, but so far, it's not worth your time. Wait until full release if you're really interested, but I waited longer for this game and it didn't deliver.    … Expand

    APB Reloaded is a port of a PC game that was relaunched in 2011. It's far too old to contend with games that have come out in the last few years. Please give this game a pass, it was relaunched because the original was bad. This version was better....in 2011.

    Okay imagine a game where it plays like GTA V Online and it's a free to play game. But then take out all the fun (the enjoyment of shooting someone and see the character actually have blood on their character either from getting out of a gun/knife fight and winning or just getting caught in the crossfire, and jumping out a car), But also take out basic things like an a running mechanicOkay imagine a game where it plays like GTA V Online and it's a free to play game. What do you get APB Reloaded.

    Now I only played an hour of this and all I can say that it's a sad and bad attempt of creating an Open World that gives you the option to play as a cop or play as a criminal. Controls are bad, movement feels stiff, driving in a vehicle is just a bore.

    Now I can see how this game can have potential but the developers need to put that in and fix things that just aren't working. And I do understand they're not trying to be GTA they are trying to be APB Reloaded by having something that GTA V Online won't have or just doesn't use (like being able to play as a cop). But because of the controls, the so call "tutorial" that the game has I personally think that this will be shut down and either tried again but with a more driven passion or just forgotten all together.

    This game has so much potential. That's what bothers me the most when I play this game, is how much potential it has. I thought the idea sounded neat, ok it's multiplayer, I can either be a criminal or an enforcer, customize my character anyway possible pretty much, and it's like GTA. Even customizing my character at the beginning was fun and made me think I was about to play an awesomeThis game has so much potential. Even customizing my character at the beginning was fun and made me think I was about to play an awesome free game, but then I got to the gameplay. It's sooo choppy and laggy. Not even just a little....a lot actually. The mechanics feel pretty lousy too to be honest. The driving is horrible and has a delay when you try to steer, I guess from the lag but the game has a very cheap feel to it and when two vehicles are full speed and crash into each other, it sounds like someone softly hitting two plastic bins together. It's definitely broken still and hard to play with all the bugs. But if the developers worked on the bugs and mechanics, it'd be an awesome game. There's a lot of potential but if the game didn't feel so cheesy and act so buggy I'd play it. But for now I'm gonna save the space on my hard drive and keep it deleted until I hear more about improvement on the game.… Expand

    APB Reloaded is not good. Terrible graphics, lifeless worlds, unresponsive controls, confusing menus. Not worth playing for anything other than the actual impressive characters customization, that sadly the game could not even come close to matching.

    This game has been around for many years now on PC. Unfortunately it keeps the same, no useful updates, and so much struggle with the servers. Downloading it on PS4 is even worse. Its worse to play. Constant lag, shabby graphics and graphics that wont load.

    Those things that are really good about this game is the customization. You can customize alot on your character, clothing and symbol designer. Should be a bit more customization to the vehicles tho.    … Expand
