    The best tennis game on current gen and the best tennis game since Top Spin 4. Gameplay wise it feels awesome, the only let down for this game is the lack of licensing for characters and stadiums.

    Gameplay gives a new perspective on controls and directing the ball.......have to say if you're a tennis fan and watch the game, then this is the best tennis game youll play by some margin. Takes a bit of getting used to but very satisfying as you get to grips with it......there's obviously downfalls, it seems quite apparent that the budget wasnt huge for this game, the interaction andGameplay gives a new perspective on controls and directing the ball.......have to say if you're a tennis fan and watch the game, then this is the best tennis game youll play by some margin. Takes a bit of getting used to but very satisfying as you get to grips with it......there's obviously downfalls, it seems quite apparent that the budget wasnt huge for this game, the interaction and atmosphere with crowds is very poor and the transitioning between points and serves is alot left to be desired.     We don't see many tennis games right now, but AO Tennis 2 is a major improvement for AO Tennis 1. The gameplay is good, a lot of customization options and nice controls. A lack of licensing and some issues is something to be disappointing. But AO Tennis is a fun game for tennis fans.

    Alright, to all the people saying it's a bad tennis game... you just don't take the time to get good at it. At first I thought the same things as you, players are blasting shots past me, my balls are going out a lot e.t.c but once you actually get your timing better the game becomes extremely fun and addictive. Second thing for people saying the career mode is bad, again people saying this don't have any patience and they don't want to work they're way up the rankings WHICH IS LITERALLY WHAT TENNIS IS ABOUT. Anyways, don't listen to the people saying these bad reviews... they don't take time to learn the game, play it once and then say it's a bad game. The academy feature is also great! You can literally find any player from the community on there. Even players that are ranked outside of the top 500. Also you can find any venue in the world. Even Challengers!… Expand

    I usually never give a game a 0, but this piece of crap is just unplayable. I played all tennis games there are out, but this, oh my, i dont believe i spent money on this. This game has to do with tennis, like Assassins creed is an ice hockey game... Ugly!

    The devs broke the game again and now Crareer Mode is unplayable. I wish I could get my money back.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is SO SO disappointing. Do not buy. First I will start with the good. The community downloads for players and area as is cool. The hawk eye challenge system is cool. It ends there everything else is so faulty. The general movement is so unrealistic and doesn’t feel authentic to the players despite the fact they said it is . Very robotic . The sounds don’t help either, u can never hear slides on clay(because the game is so basic it doesn’t have slides ) but even on hard court you can’t hear the sound of squeaking on the surface like top spin 4(made in 2011… Expand

    My first game I hit 38 unforced errors, my opponent hit 2, I've played a lot of Tennis games over the years and never had as shoddy AI as that. So I have played 3 futures tournaments and lost 6 0, 6 0 each time, barely winning a point on the 2nd lowest difficulty due to my shots always going wide and my opponent never making a mistake, not enjoyable at all

    I dropped down to rookie the lowest difficulty and won every game 6 0, 6 0, you dont even have to try to time your shots, surely the developers could come up with a better difficulty scaling than this    … Expand

    Es una pena porque el juego tiene cosas interesantes, buenos gráficos... pero la jugabilidad, que al final es lo importante, es horrorosa. No sientes que tengas el control del jugador en ningún momento.

    Literally the worst game ever. Player in career mode starts with almost no stats and you cant train him. You have to win to get money, but you cant win bc aiming doesnt work with a character who is a 43. **** game. Just glad i didnt pay for it. Psnow kinda blows these days tho.

    This game is shocking, the career details are good but the gameplay and mechanics are so so awful, top spin 4 which was made in 2011 on the last gen of consoles was ten times better. Don’t buy

    Do not purchase. The game has the least intuitive interface I’ve ever played, the player will routinely glitch out and miss a ball, it is beyond frustrating. I promise you, save your money.

    Probably the best Tennis game you can buy. Some minor issues but nothing which can make you rage too much.

    Possibly the worst game I've ever played. The game is essentially unplayable due to the clunky mechanics i.e your player not returning the ball when it's there to be played. All players feel as if they're running through custard. The developer should be ashamed for releasing this absolute disgrace of a game: unless they were attempting to make the most frustrating game possible.     Big Ant Studios did a decent job in bringing back the sport of Tennis in videogames. It may not be as polished and rich as legends of the past like Virtua Tennis and Top Spin, but it can guarantee lots of fun for you and your friends.

    AO Tennis 2 is a deep and rewarding simulation that offers much for the hardcore tennis fan. An initial difficulty wall will likely put a few players off, but for those that persist there is a rewarding and deep game of tennis to be found.
