    If this game had been a stand alone title, not tied to final fantasy with maybe a little more of a story of it's own, we'd be talking about an incredible retro style game that implemented modern game mechanics. As it is, this game exists solely as an interesting tid bit attached to a much bigger title.     es un juego gratis el cual solo sirve como publicidad para el ffXV pero esta bien se vuelve repetitivo pero relamete no me gusta criticar un juego gratis sin micro transaciones.

    worth it and glad to play this game again. so much memories and nostalgia within this fifteenth game in the series.

    Un gran juego y gran incentivo de reserva para aquellos que reservaron FFXV en Gamestop. Su acción basada en Scroll lateral y estilo retro lo hacen un juego simple y adictivo el cual cumple su principal función, entretener.

    As a pre-order bonus, this was a fun little beat-em up. The story is nothing special and doesn't really add much to the Final Fantasy XV mythos, but it's still worth a try if you are really invested into Final Fantasy.

    Such a smart Beat 'em up in this era is so refreshing, exiting, nostalgic, epic, and above all, IT's FREE, now availible for everyone even if you're not a FFXV user with Trophy support, many combos, great music, good desings, chain attacks, into a beautiful mauhem, a must download.

    AMAZING this games combat system reminds me of the old final fantasys (sort of) . For me this is probably the best pre order bonus for any game for a long time.

    Short game, but there is still a lot of content and challenges that you can do. The game is based of final fantasy XV. It has good controls, and it is easy to pick up and play.

    There is no reason to rate A King's Tale negatively, as it is a good game which fulfill it main purpose: it entertains the player and complements the story of Final Fantasy XV. If we take this game in comparison to some similar arcade games, I think A King's Tale is even better than many of them. More importantly, it is completely free.

    Nothing really stands out in A King's Tale, but also nothing is that bad. It is more like a classic beat em' up and at first can be fun, to the end it gets a little repetitive and shallow, thankfully the campaign takes more or less 1 hour, so it isn't that bad and doesn't overstay its welcome.

    I only recommend it for people who want to know extra lore about Noctis father and his    Nothing really stands out in A King's Tale, but also nothing is that bad. It is more like a classic beat em' up and at first can be fun, to the end it gets a little repetitive and shallow, thankfully the campaign takes more or less 1 hour, so it isn't that bad and doesn't overstay its welcome.

    I only recommend it for people who want to know extra lore about Noctis father and his companions, otherwise, you can skip it or try it as a "demo" for the main story, it's free so might as well try it.    … Expand

    Pretty good game. Although has its drawbacks. Some stages can be too long (i keep spamming my controller until my hands start to hurt). To a retro player, (retro FF fan or not) this might look a bit **** but for me its just Average.

    Disclaimer: This is not a Final Fantasy JRPG game. It´s more or less a Streets Of Rage style 2D action beat em up in the FF universe. Entertaining, but only for some hours. The game is way too short! Overall rating: 8,4.

    A King's Tale is an interesting tie-in to the popular yet polarizing Final Fantasy XV. Retro fans will probably despise it due to its awful interpretation of classic beat 'em ups but its simple gameplay is easily digestible for casual gamers.

    For a free side course of Final Fantasy XV goodness, you can't go wrong with A King's Tale. It's nothing special – either as a new entry to the narrative or as a 2D brawler – but it provides some depth to a character that lacked development which, in turn, further expands upon the personality of Noctis and his relationship with Regis. Despite some lazy moments of design and unnecessarily repetitive combat sequences, there's a couple of hours of fun to be had here with a surprisingly good combat system and a nice, nostalgia-inducing presentation.
