    I think that most people judge this game as if it were an actual Golf game, rather than it's own thing. Most players seem to make the same mistake when playing the actual game as well. Unlike most Golf games, 100ft Robot Golf experiments with vertical obstructions and course layouts, which it actually succeeds in doing. It's not perfect per say, but it's not as dramatically awful as peopleI think that most people judge this game as if it were an actual Golf game, rather than it's own thing. It's not perfect per say, but it's not as dramatically awful as people say it is. The camera isn't the best ever ether, mostly getting stuck behind objects a lot and is one of the biggest annoyances I have with the game. The game does shine in it's humor which is something that is missing from most games or games that "try" to be funny *insertgearboxgamehere*. The McElroy brothers are pretty much the best part of the game, as they passive aggressively comment on the player. Even when the McElroy brothers aren't on screen, the game gives out some good moments in it's campaign mode. All the characters are all lovable goofy parodies of famous animes and really good ones at that. Sadly, it is so much so that a few references will fly by people who never watched said series. Now the golfing is done by several meters that measure swing power like pretty much every golf game ever. They honestly don't matter, except for Max and Vahni who use a Hot Shots style meter that also calculates the curvature of the ball. That doesn't mean everyone is the same, everyone has a unique weapon or passive effect that makes them special as well as their sort of "ultimate" which helps them aim better. It's not really balanced, as Aveline and Uncle use a skateboard instead of a regular weapon like other pilots but said skateboard allows them to move faster than the others. Now the game has no tutorial, which is kind of bad seeing how different the game really is from other games. I think a tutorial explaining how things worked would have benefited this game and it's awkward learning curve. For example, if players learned that they can simply aim backwards if they hit a wall and retry their shot from a different point, I think that this game wouldn't be as "hated". There is a dedication of love and effort put into this game and I actually do recommend getting this game for the PS4 if you could.… Expand

    This is a game that expects to be fun based on the wackiness instead of being an actual good game. The golf is some of the worse golf I have ever played. You are constantly struggling with the terrible camera which is frustrating because the object is to race to be the first to the hole. Moving and controlling your robot is terrible. It looks like a lost PS2 game. The humor is very Adult Swim and is trying to parody anime which is something I didn't find funny.     I am a golf fan and have been waiting for a decent golf game ever since PSVR released. That being said, this is not that game and it is actually awful. I am not sure who this game was aimed at. Terrible.

    On the plus side of the ledger, it has a lot of great ideas and a pretty decent sense of humour. Those positives, however, are counterbalanced with a hideous colour scheme and a feeling of repetition that creeps in unfortunately quickly.
