    I think this game is AWESOME! It feels like Top Gun, and best level is the one where you dogfight with Maverick, and epic soundtrack! I don't understand why critics hate it. Yes, it's not as advanced as other games, or as realistic, but COME ON! This is a game taking place after an 80s cheesefest Tom Cruise film (Still the best movie ever!!!!!) Also it is just really, really fun!

    This game isn't all that bad. The graphics are average, not what we expect in 2012. But the game play is downright fun. What I didn't like is all the unnecessary profanity especially using our Lord's name> Jesus. I ask game companies to stop mocking Jesus.

    One of the worst flight simulators I have ever come across, and the only thing the download demo did was actually waste my braodband bandwidth. You cannot have internal view, you are forced to external behind the plane view, and half the controls are just buttons being used for the sake of it, its not even particularly good gameplay... and I think the number of missiles must be infinite,One of the worst flight simulators I have ever come across, and the only thing the download demo did was actually waste my braodband bandwidth.     This is a totally fun game. I can absolutely see the perspectives of all those that have marked this game down but you'd be surprised how cool this game is if only you drop the attitude of expecting a Game Of The Year type finish. Yes it's cheesy and unaspiring but what is does, it does really well. What other flying game do I have that is so easily approached and yet so cool? Um... none.This is a totally fun game. I can absolutely see the perspectives of all those that have marked this game down but you'd be surprised how cool this game is if only you drop the attitude of expecting a Game Of The Year type finish.     This is about as bad as the Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters for PS3. Controls are awful. The voice acting is horrid. Really bad game.

    It has a lengthy runtime for the asking price, but it's basically a trap laced with nostalgia, and is only fun in very, very short bursts. To paraphrase Maverick's commander, we think many of you would rather fly a cargo plane full of rubber dogshit out of Hong Kong than finish this. [May 2012, p74]
