    The Last of Us is the very definition of an overrated game. Its story is a blend of post-apocalyptic tropes and ideas that have been done a million times before. Throw in some zombies for good measure. Why not? It's already a cliche mess.

    Total cheese fest. Cliched characters, cheesy dialogues, predictable twists that anyone with a brain size that of a cockroach can guess, ending that was copied from Prince of Persia 2008. Describing it in one word? Dogs**t

    This a garbage game made from a crappy studio called naughty dog .. linear story , horrible first gen controls , you can practically beat the entire game pressing one button and holding a beer bottle . Dumb story , crappy graphics . Is there any way I can give this game a score below a zero I would . The last of us games should have paid me to even look at the title complete ! Do you like watching the same animations over and over again? Do you like nonsensical plots? Well then this ladder climbing simulator is for you!

    The Last of Us is a game with terrible pacing that somehow manages to feel disjointed and also repetitive. The game play is either slowly walking around, slowly crawling around, climbing up and down ladders thousands of times, watching cutscenes, or charging at guys while getting shot in the face multiple times and then insta-killing baddies by stabbing them in the arm with broken glass... You can also sneak up on people and strangle them so you can watch the 15 second strangle animation over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over while other baddies wander around feet away completely oblivious. The stealth system is stupid and broken.

    PLOT SPOILERS: The game starts with Joel's (the character you play as) daughter being killed during the opening stages of a zombie apocalypse. (Such innovation, much wow!) 20 years later Joel meets Ellie (a girl who is the same age as his daughter when she died) who is immune to the zombie fungus. You then spend 20 hours playing a ladder climbing simulator to get Ellie to a hospital so they can use her to make a cure. At the end Joel murders an entire hospital's worth of doctors and nurses working to cure the fungus because the procedure they are going to do on Ellie to create a cure will cause her death. Joel thus dooms humanity. I think the game is trying to make some kind point about humanity being bad here but it gets lost in the ladder climbing and nonsensical plot. If I could give this game negative points I would. Don't waste your time.    … Expand

    *Was disappointing. The game had so much great talk on how mazing it was said to be but I just don't see it the gameplay was okay the graphics were decent and the characters were good I just don't see the game as so good.*

    It's the most overrated game of all time.

    No gameplay, simple story, good graphics but some rendering errors, characters not so bad but not so good. It was an average movie which a stereotypical Booker Dewitt hero and typical B grade cinema storyline that I've seen multiple times before. The most overrated game of all time.

    With my devoted love for this game, and our adorable beloved Joel & Ellie I could write a thoudand words on why this is a phenomenally beautiful story. But i'll just simply say one word - PERFECTION.

    Mecánicamente es un juego bastante bueno, pero puedes programar dos engranes tan bien que los haga girar el viento y aun así una pésima ejecución de la historia y narrativa como es el caso, arruina a los personajes y me atrevería a decir el juego en general.

    Honestly I do not like the game and I give up after like 2 hours. I was playing the remastered version. The game is insanely difficult and frustrating even if I was playing at normal difficulty. The tutorial is simply bad and there are many hidden information that is not told and I have to rely on searching for tips which is honestly what I hate especially in my first walkthrough.     This game is remembered above all for its story, but it is very poorly told, with poor phrases and predictable enough

    the game in its missions is repetitive, slow, rough and even graphically it is not the most incredible of ps3 or ps4.

    It has some issues like stupid i.a, bugs, audio issues, and a b.s.o. very discreet

    it is one of the most overrated games in history if it is not the first.

    This character is an absolute beast. he knew exactly what was coming and even memorised all of the walking patterns. Game has an Excellent graphics that could pass as a next-gen title. Emotion-stirring story.
    also Brutal combat. nice storyline. the commentary is astounding.

    Pretty boring game where you go from point A to point B. While there are some moments where it feels like it's worth it, but in the beginning of second game some ugly woman just kills you and that's what i call very bad writing. Avoid, if you actually like good games.

    Mediocrity posing as a master piece, The Last of Us is nothing special just your typical zombie game with SJW BS mixed in. Sony will milk this IP for as long as they can, don't waste your time or money on this trash.

    I loved Last of Us 1, but Last of Us 2 was very interesting to play and not in a positive way. I was seriously enjoying the story about Joel's death and Ellie trying to avenge his death, and Ellie's romance on the side. It could have been one of the best games ever.
    Unfortunately, towards the end, I was forced to play as Abby. I really liked Joel as a character, and when Abby killed him,    I loved Last of Us 1, but Last of Us 2 was very interesting to play and not in a positive way. I was seriously enjoying the story about Joel's death and Ellie trying to avenge his death, and Ellie's romance on the side. It could have been one of the best games ever.
    Unfortunately, towards the end, I was forced to play as Abby. I really liked Joel as a character, and when Abby killed him, I, of course, developed a serious dislike for Abby. Furthermore, Abby is just a pissed-off, unlikable character in general. Thus, I really didn't want to play as Abby and found myself just letting zombies kill me because I wanted to return to playing as Ellie, and it was more enjoyable to watch her die than to try to help her survive.
    I tried to play it out as Abby, hoping it would return to Ellie at any moment, but hours went by, and it still made me play as Abby until eventually I just said, "Screw it. I'm not enjoying this game at all, and I stopped playing altogether. I've played almost every rpg there is, and there is only one other game I have stopped playing halfway through. Thus, Last of Us 2 is one of the only games I rate as a 0 out of 10 since it was so unenjoyable that I didn't even finish it. The lesson here is NEVER FORCE THE PLAYER TO PLAY AS AN UNLIKABLE ANTAGONSIST, PLEASE.
    After, being so disappointed with Part 2, I don't recommend either of these games.    … Expand

    The Last of Us is a great action-adventure game that manages to capture the feeling of post-apocalypse and survival. The story is alright but way too manipulative and borrows heavily from other, better, material. Still the segmented survival gameplay and the amazing audiovisual production makes the game an experience everybody should check out.

    Despite the breakneck pace of the prologue, it takes quite a while for The Last of Us to pick up some speed again. However, once the cold harsh winter arrives, the action (and story) ramps up. So much so, it puts most Hollywood productions to shame. [July 2013, p.76]
