Nov 8, 2012Game is a platformer that's a lot of fun. Great music and neat art styles work very well together. Death mode and Community levels add a good amount of replay value. If you buy it you can play it on your Vita on the go which is a nice bonus. Highly recommended it, good job on the developer.

Aug 17, 2012great game, played on the vita, then cloud synced my save to get 2 platinums.
it had some great tunes, but a few were annoying. the death mode levels weren't too bad, just a few were frustrating. i love these creative downloadable games...in the same class as journey & papo & yo for me. -

Nov 5, 2013Beautiful but frustrating and sometimes stupid, Sound Shapes rely on a strong community and truly amazing visuals. While Beat School is fantastic, Death Mode is a disaster

Oct 27, 2012Sound Shapes is a charming and beautiful platformer based on music and rhythm. Your goal is to collect notes and build on the song playing in the background. All the levels have a different look, with a team of graphic artists and performers combining their talents to make something truly enjoyable and unique.

PSM3 Magazine UKSep 29, 2012A beautifully detailed experience. [Nov 2012, p.105]

Sep 19, 2012Sound Shapes is a refreshing change of style and pace for the PSN. Although not perfect it does a lot of things that have not been seen (or heard) before and should be commended for doing so. Add to this a small price tag and cross-play features and you have a great package that no PS3 owner should ignore.
