    Wonderful game! It has an amazing art direction, beautiful graphics, perfect gameplay even on the ps3 even though it's an FPS since usually FPS is only good even on the PC. Sony is full of amazing games, why doesn't it revive these franchises instead of crying over the COD developer

    Resistance moves to a post-apocalyptic setting where you are at war not only with the Chimera, but also the dregs of humanity. It can sometimes feel like an inferior knock off of Half Life 2, but the action packed gameplay, nice atmospheric graphics and evolving weapons system make for another entertaining FPS.

    The story for this game is laughably bad and cliche. I felt there was an obvious lack of effort in that regard and I’m disappointed that the stunning ending of Resistance 2 was not fully capitalized on. Despite this, the upgradeable weapons, boss fights, and overall action is very rewarding and worth experiencing.     This game has one of the absolute best shooter campaigns, it also comes with co-op mode. The weapon wheel returns and the weapon upgrade system is a really nice addition. Enemies are varied, health doesn't regenerate, graphics hold up well and cutscenes look amazing. Much better than most shooters out there for sure. The only thing I don't like is the rushed ending.     Resistance 3 surpreende em muitos aspectos se comparado ao seus antecessores. Com uma jogabilidade refinadíssima, gráficos espetaculares e uma história minimamente interessante sob um novo ponto de vista, Resistance 3 é, para mim, o melhor da franquia.

    Uma pena que para os fãs mais conservadores, uma mudança radical demais na franquia.

    A solid game from start to finish, Spectacle and all, but it's just missing that Resistance Flair, but this overall is a Quality and Enjoyable game.

    Resistance is a Franchise that gets better and better after each game. This is an end of a Franchise and maybe a new beginning to something new, I hope INSOMNIAC don't forget where they came from. It seems that they haven't and are    A solid game from start to finish, Spectacle and all, but it's just missing that Resistance Flair, but this overall is a Quality and Enjoyable game.

    Way better than I expected! I hadn't played any other Resistance games before this, just for reference. It's basically Gears of War mixed with Metro and way better weapons. Most of the reason this game is memorable is due to the set piece battles. Tons of epic moments and edge of your seat gun fights where you just barely survive.     This is the best game in the resistance series. It has a very good gameplay, it presents the ending of the story in a good way and visually it looks incredible. highly recommended.

    Resistance 3 is unjustly underrated. It is a best episode of the series. I point only single player. Today's game can learn how to look like we shooter from the first person.

Seriously: Guy needs to destroy tower in New York. Guy travels across country. Guy gets to New York. Guy destroys tower. Guy goes home to his family. The end.

    Best chapter of the whole trilogy. If you add to this game 1080p, better textures and smoothing, it will be similar to the game from PS4. The design of everything in the game is very good, nice picture at all. I liked shooting mechanics, you can finally carry more than 2 weapons. A more interesting plot, real adventure, although the ending is too obvious, just a happy ending. In general,Best chapter of the whole trilogy.     This was my first PS3 game, and it was an awesome experience for a new gamer. I´m not a huge fan of shooters, but this one it´s really enjoyable, loved the enemies and the weaponds. Definitely, must play.

    В принципе, неплохая игра - и графика норм, и разнообразные локации, и экшн бодрый, но игра вообще не запоминается. Блеклые персонажи, сюжет максимально простой и скорее для галочки, оружие без изюминки. Прошел и забыл. Еще и разрешение невысокое - 960x704, что бросается в глаза.В принципе, неплохая игра - и графика норм, и разнообразные локации, и экшн бодрый, но игра вообще не запоминается. Блеклые персонажи, сюжет максимально простой и скорее для галочки, оружие без изюминки. Прошел и забыл. Еще и разрешение невысокое - 960x704, что бросается в глаза.

    I played this when I was a kid and never got to finish it. 8 years later and this is still a revolutionary game for me. They hold nothing back and throw everything at u with something new every chapter in this 20 chapter game. To be able to go back in 2020 and feel something unique that's 8 years old is refreshing. Thank you

    Resistance 3, according to the developers, was an attempt to focus on a few things intensely instead of doing a whole lot of things like in Resistance 2. What's is funny to me is that, despite the effort to make Resistance 3 the best, it feels like the worst in many ways.

    Where as the story of Fall of Men and 2 felt epic, with high stakes and characters that would be memorable, the    Resistance 3, according to the developers, was an attempt to focus on a few things intensely instead of doing a whole lot of things like in Resistance 2. What's is funny to me is that, despite the effort to make Resistance 3 the best, it feels like the worst in many ways.

    Where as the story of Fall of Men and 2 felt epic, with high stakes and characters that would be memorable, the story of Resistance 3 feels like a spin-off rather than a sequel. Capelli, who was a testosterone fueled a-hole in 2, is now suddenly a run of the mill 'i'll do anything to safe my over expressive wife and child' hairy guy that whines a lot.

    The scary tone of the game is mostly gone as human enemies are introduced (boring), enemy designs look more cartoon-ish (why?) and the cutscenes are focused on humans rather than the Chimera.

    Having the weapon wheel back was fun, but didn't add much other than using the appropriate weapon for the specific enemies. Standing on a boat that prohibits you from moving in a level, but forces you to listen to radio chatter is not fun. Who thought that would be appealing to fans of a horror FPS game?

    The way guns evolve is cool, and some of the weapons like the mutator are a lof of fun to use. The enemies however are not much more than Sniper unit, Rifle unit and other-knock offs. What saddens me most is the lack of variety in the levels and bosses. Resistance 2 was packed with this, and in 3 it comes down to just a handfull clumsy encounters.

    Having waited 3 years to see what happens after the cliffhanger ending of 2, i was very disappointed. I was expecting a final clash in the sense of The Matrix Revolutions, where two unstoppable entities would clash to determine who would be the dominant species on Earth. But NO! What we got was a road trip across the boonies to destroy a terraformer. Great writing Insomniac... Yuck.

    Resistance 2 will always be my favorite entry in the series, and even though i didn't like part 3 as much as the previous games i do find it a good enough game. I just wished that it wasn't the last one in the main series.    … Expand

    DANGER ! The update of the game corrupted the ps3... be very carefull. The update create a "corrupted data", and it's no easy to retrieve the system. I don't want to redo the installation but there is a solution.
    First : Install the game without the patch (push O to cancel), play the intro of the game. Second : re-launch the game and accept the update.

    Es un juegos de disparos genial y sus jugabilidad es buena , recomendable para jugar pasaron un rato agradable y verán que es medio excelente , sus armas son buenas y la historia

    They say the show must go on and in the Resistance world there are still questions to be answered, but the disappointing nature of this third instalment and its failure to deliver at retail most likely means this is the last release in the series. Perhaps such an end is the best option all round.

    Resistance 3 does plenty. It's beautiful, thrilling, and-quite unexpectedly-contains one of the most memorable campaigns this side of Halo and Half-Life. In a year full of Sony-branded disappointments, Insomniac has produced an absolute gem.

    As a conclusion to the franchise (no doubt pending an awkwardly justified fourth game and spin-offs), Resistance 3 manages to send it off as gracefully as possible.
