    Lost in Nightmares was fu*king awesome. Classic RE and nothing like RE5 except the graphics engine. LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT. It's like a demo of what possible future RE's should be like. Return to the roots. Lost in Nightmares was short yes, but at $5 it's hard to complain. I'd give it a perfect 10 if they fixed the door opening transitions.

    Lost in Nightmares chronicles Chis and Jill's return to the mansion from the 1st RE. It is short on action and heavy on fetch this key to this puzzle type quests. The enemies consist of a few zombies which lie on the ground and grab you as you walk by, and the big hulking guy with an axe that moves slowly and has an eye thing you have to shoot on his back. I killed a total of 8 Lost in Nightmares chronicles Chis and Jill's return to the mansion from the 1st RE. It is short on action and heavy on fetch this key to this puzzle type quests. The enemies consist of a few zombies which lie on the ground and grab you as you walk by, and the big hulking guy with an axe that moves slowly and has an eye thing you have to shoot on his back. I killed a total of 8 enemies and 2 enemy types on playthrough. The final boss to the chapter is Wesker who is an anoying QTE trigger event boss, he beats you up, wait for QTE, run around, rinse, repeat. Playtime was roughly 1 hour. The environment of the revisited Mansion was done extremely well, it looks cool has a nice ambiance and music. The puzzles and enemies are a total let down. The files you come across in the mansion give some back story. The weapons you acquire aren't used much and can't upgrade as this is only one chapter. There are a few unlockables after play through including a Professional mode, gumball statue figures and the option to play as Jill. Buying the content also unlocks Mercenaries Reunion a completely separate set of the Mercs trials from the main Mercs mode. Its characters consist of only Barry and Excella, you can unlock other Mercs R. characters by buying the other DLC costumes. I have no idea why Capcom wouldn't just modify the original Mercs campaign to include the new characters, maybe it involved too much coding/patching. Not doing so is a disappointment, the option of just the 2 characters sucks and you have to start out at the village and unlock all the other stages. It would have been ideal to have these characters and the other DLC costumes added to the Versus mode as well, but it didn't happen. So is it worth 5 bucks? Maybe, it depends on how much you like RE. I had a good time playing through it but am still on the fence about the value. I played through the campaign once and multiple stages of Mercs Reunion with both characters.… Expand

    This is the expansion pack for Resident evil 5. Replayability is not high as there is not much shooting. There is only one enemy. The level design is still pretty fun.
    Pros:
    -The mansion exploration was good Cons: - You defeat the same enemy over and over. This is kind of unacceptable. If you love Resident Evil 5, then you already have this expansion. if you only buy one, get the other    This is the expansion pack for Resident evil 5.     Lost in Nightmares was created to fill a hole left by Resident Evil 5: the events that culminated in Jill's assumed death at Spencer's mansion. And this DLC does exactly that with a little bonus included: it is a little return to something similar to a survival horror game, with more dark turns and less shooting. It is a nostalgic trip back to the first Resident Evil. Exploration is back,Lost in Nightmares was created to fill a hole left by Resident Evil 5: the events that culminated in Jill's assumed death at Spencer's mansion. And this DLC does exactly that with a little bonus included: it is a little return to something similar to a survival horror game, with more dark turns and less shooting. It is a nostalgic trip back to the first Resident Evil. Exploration is back, puzzles are back, and some good scares are in order. From the very start you can see this DLC is different from the main game, and it takes a while before the first zombie freak appears in front of you. The mansion also has many closed spaces and narrow halls, and the parts where you have to go separate ways from your partner are truly tense; especially when you start to hear those weird grunts in the distance and have no idea where it's coming from. The final battle is also extremely fun and challenging. Lost in Nightmares is a great DLC pack and a must have for any old-school Resident Evil fan.… Expand

    it reminded me with the first resident evil game as you play in this big house but this one has better graphics sound and atmosphere a really great dlc

    A quick and fun return to a more familiar Resident Evil atmosphere, "Lost in Nightmares" is certain to satisfy any player seeking a more puzzle-centred survival horror feeling.

    A DLC with a nod to nostalgia. I could say that this short adventure is better than the full game. A prequel that although it doesn't contribute as much, if it's good experience.

    Maybe we were hoping for more history in this Lost in Nightmares expansion pack, although we must say this is a nice add-on with a low cost and a great accent on paying respect to the roots of the series.

    Even for $5, we expected more creatures to blast, rooms to explore and weapons to fire. Those glaring omissions make Lost in Nightmares a good, but not great journey into the world of survival horror. Good luck.
