    The most underrated ratchet and clank game.
    With a great weapon selection, outstanding level design and a great soundtrack.

    The core loop is the same, and many elements are revisited from going commando, however the shortness of the game posses a greater problem than you first think. The story is rushed and could have done with a lot more character work, while I know the motivation of all the characters I never cared about any of them. The story is rushed and could have done with a lot more character work, while I know the motivation of all the characters I never cared about any of them. For example there are no scenes of ratchet and clank being close friends throughout the WHOLE game. Clank is not funny at all, but he attempts (in general the writing is average at best). There are no puzzles, the side game-mode with clank is rarely used and when it is, not very creatively. In crack in time, there were more advanced puzzles once you finished the game, but here there is nothing, 5 levels max with clank and VERY few planets, 3 gimmik planets and only 2!!!!!! actual planets. Enemy variety is scarce and replaying feels like a chore in challenge mode.

    I do however can't deny that the loop of fighting and upgrading your weapons is VERY fun. The raritanium as long with the levels are great ways of upgrading your weapons. I would have liked to see less flat 3% faster fire rate type of upgrades, but the final upgrade of each weapon does help a lot. There are a few new ideas for weapons, and the bomb glove is actually amazing to use which is a rarity. The first weapon weapon you get could have done with much more upgrades so that its more viable in the endgame.

    The unfortunate thing is that even through your weapons are cool (except for the winterizer which is awful like usual), the bosses and enemies you fight are SO boring. there are MAXIMUM 10 enemies(I could only really think of 6) and many of them are reskins with more armor. The bosses are dull, I can only think of 5, 2 are repeated twice throughout the game one is repeated 4ish times and one other is repeated 10ish times.

    Overall I like that is brought back some fun parts from past games, but the shortness of the game really hurts the replayability of the game (also you cant hold multiple save files). All in all just play Crack in Time again which is better in every way and the story is amazing even through when I first played it it was the first game I EVER played.    … Expand

    This was a really good way to end the PS3 phase of the franchise. I enjoyed it much and it's short meant I was not bored while playing it.

    I really like that siblings dynamic And the themes from the other games returned with them. Sadly the worst part of the game for me is the graphics, really good for PS3 game, but they doesn't run good at all. It run bad most of the battles and    This was a really good way to end the PS3 phase of the franchise. I enjoyed it much and it's short meant I was not bored while playing it.

    Funny, challenging and really really good story of survival, hood verses evil and friendship. I enjoyed playing this with my friends and figuring out the puzzles for the levels

    Fun, graphics are amazing. Please stop replacing loved charters with characters that achieve a political narrative. This could have been sooooo much better from a story and gameplay standpoint if I could have played with Ratchet or Rivet. But I guess somebody over in Playstation is angry or something...and just wants to eliminate male characters and force customers to play with gay and orFun, graphics are amazing.     Different from the other Ratchet and Clank titles , Into the Nexus is more a shooting game than typical action game.

    An overlooked game, its biggest default might be its length, but other aspects make up for it. The story follows that of ACiT, and the serious tone is given VERY quickly once you start a game. Weapons are surprisingly good. The highlight of this game imo is flying with your jetpack on planet Thram burning the local wildlife to a crisp. All of it to open a vault... sigh, capitalism.

    Not the best of the series, but still a great game to play. They seem to change clanks side missions every new game they make, its not bad, just different.

    La primera mitad es posiblemente el mejor trozo de Ratchet & Clank de se generación. Lástima que en su segunda parte se asoma demasiado su naturaleza de juego pequeñito que no lo deja brillar como se merece.

    Tiene un ritmo pobre, un nivel final muy apestosón y una trama que no tiene tiempo para respirar y desarrollarse bien.     The gameplay is as great as it was "originally was" from 2002-2009 and the villain was great, The problem I have with this game is that it's not at a length I wanted.

    Although it's a very short game, Into the Nexus stays consistently fun and interesting throughout its run. The weapons are all great and a ton of fun to play with and the gadget sections are more fun and less tedious than past games.

    Its a great game, held down by the fact it was a smaller budget title, especially when compared to Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

The duo must now race against the clock and stop the Progs who intend to find their race by using an inter-dimensional portal device which could lead to the galaxy's destruction.

    The gameplay is classic Ratchet gameplay: You play as Ratchet with Clank on your back (and sometimes you play a Clank segment) and venture through creative alien worlds and blast the hell out of robots and monster-y creatures with a vast arsenal of ridiculous weapons. One of my favorites is the Netherblades (this games version of Buzz Blades) and the Winterizer which turns enemies and certain bosses into snowmen. You can follow the story or explore each planet or partake in Arena Challenges or hunt for collectibles. The game clocks out at 5-6 hours but you unlock Challenge Mode once you've beaten the story so there's plenty to come back to.

    This is a great swan song for the Future series and it makes me excited for what Insomniac Games can give us on the PS4.    … Expand

    This is a very underrted ratchet and clank that I actually liked more then ratchet and clank 3
    The combat is fun the variety of enemies etc.... oh yeah the awesome graphics only the second half of the had boring moments wich made a less fun experience to get to the end but it still was mostly fun

    Seamless and flow with goodness on the screen, but the length may become tedious on certain players. This one is usual in first for the sibling, good adventure too for most. Would not choose it but it is a nice gem for all audiences supposing. Would not see ratchet or clank do something much different involving than what is harmless fun in call.

    Major fun for a short game and just more of Crack in Time or Tools of Destruction, but in smaller snippets and at a discount. It is definitely worth the sale price.

The challenges are fair and can be conquered with skill and patience. Very few sections 'drag on' with needless dialogue or transportation, and the different planets/levels feel varied though they are few.     Okay, this game is three years old at this point, and on an older system. But just got around to playing it, and it's great. Quest for Booty, not so much, but it came free with this game as a download and I still appreciated being able to play it. I feel like Insomiac took all the criticism against Quest for Booty to heart and dialed everything in this game up to 11. Great story, great gameplay variety, great final boss battle - my second favorite boss battle of all time in this series. My favorite being the third ratchet game, I believe, where you fight Dr. Nefarious for the first time. (Might have been the second game, those were quite a while ago.) If you've never played Into the Nexus before, I highly recommend it. Great gameplay and graphics still hold up in a world filled with Uncharted 4 and the like.… Expand

    Great game but definetly not the best ratchet and clank has to offer, All by all its pretty good but It's got little that makes it a unique game, and it's rather short but great experimentation with new mechanics, If you're a fan of the series definetly buy it if you're new to the series i'd start with an older one.

    An underwhelming conclusion for Sony’s duo on the PlayStation 3. It’s a fine game; it’s pretty, it’s got the series’ trademark weaponry, and yet, it’s just another Ratchet game.

    The final episode of the PS3 Ratchet & Clank chapter is more of a small game than a fully-fledged one. Considering its purchase cost is adequate along with the overall game's intensity, it is a perfect ending of another period of Lombax' colorful life. Moreover, there's a bonus on the disc, Quest for Booty, an old but totally awesome mini installment certainly worthy of your attention. So get cracking!
