    Pac-Man Championship Edition DX just does what a game should do : it's fun to play and play again, it doesn't break too much away from the mold that made it an instant classic back when it originally released and adds a few variations here and there along with leader boards to give it replayability.     The game is awesome, although I wish the campaign progression was more linear like the original. My biggest gripe is lack of local multi-player. Would have given this game a 10!

    Got it for 1$ on sale on PSN so for the price I can't complain. The game is fun, graphics are good, etc. But at the same time, I don't see a lot of replay value. The levels are quite similar so it's quite repetitive but still fun. Also, the game is challenging but I almost never "died" so it's not really hard. It takes about 5 hours to finish all levels and get all trophies. But afterGot it for 1$ on sale on PSN so for the price I can't complain.     The huge quantity and variety is only superficial: Whether in time trial or in score attack, each level is built to require the same thought pattern by the player. The new touches freshen the game up, but I can't help but feel they stuck too much to the formula in the end. A game should require more than patience. Creative thinking. Ideas. Knowledge. Such are only required for climbing its leaderboards. The tweaked gameplay shows that they were willing to take chances, but there's a lack of that special idea to really make the game impressive in 2014.… Expand

    This is one of the best games i've played on my Playstation 3. Is fast, fun and simply. I LOVE IT !!!! If you dont know which game buy on PSN, buy this.

    Yes it looks cool and yes it appeals to nostalgic Pac-Man players. But lets be fair after you play one of the neon lit 'new' levels you still come away thinking "meh". Sadly it still plays like a game which was only averagely playable 30 years ago. This is one for people with too many psn points or indeed gamers who don't want any depth or excitement to their titles.

    Easily the most enjoyable adaptation of Pac-Man I have ever played. It feels great to play and will leave you coming back for better high scores time and time again. A must own game

    What's so special about this? It's pacman, but not as I remember it. It's fun for a few rounds. And way to expensive. No idea why this is getting such good reviews.

    this game is fun but a bit overrated. first of all the price of this game is too high.. should be around 3 or 4 bucks could be nice. and then its nothing new here.. its just the classic pac-man.. i think it deserves 7/10..

    NAMCO pacman ROCKS! nuff said! The best update ever...they thought about gameplay, control pad issues and fun, guys u did good...after years of boring updates its back to basics, modes galore, freeking beautiful...i would play this with no trophy support but thank you a wonderful game done better... FREEKING AWESOME ! THANK YOU

    The best $10 you could ever spend on the PSN store. This game will drain hours and hours of your life if you are not careful! It's simply a must buy for anyone remotely interested in Pac-Man.

    Yeah it's true. This game is really good. Doesn't matter if you're a fan of pac-man or not. this game is absolutely addicting in the best possible way. You can play for 10 or 20 minutes while you wait for the pizza guy to ring the bell or you can play for a a few hours. It doesn't require much video game skill to play, but it does require skills to get the highest scores.. and that'sYeah it's true. This game is really good. Doesn't matter if you're a fan of pac-man or not. this game is absolutely addicting in the best possible way. It doesn't require much video game skill to play, but it does require skills to get the highest scores.. and that's what makes the best games. remember how annoying it use to be to move pac-man left but he goes up or down and you die? Well that rarely happens anymore. 1st of all, the PS3 has the best d-pad on the market so errors on your part are slim to none due to a bad d-pad (like the useless 360's) and you can also use the analog stick if you wish. But as I was saying, the action slows way down before you're about to get killed by a ghost so you have TIME to respond. You or your girlfriend. And the satisfaction of eating all the ghosts that start following you, is extremely addicting. And if all else fails and you find yourself in a corner about to die, you have a bomb you can use by pressing any button and all the ghosts that are chasing you bounce back to their home base in the middle. So you don't need to be a pac-man expert or a video game junkie to appreciate and have fun with this game..and if you are those things, well, there's plenty of challenge for you here too. It's seriously the best 10 bucks I've spent on a new game. Only reason why not a 10, is there's no 2 player or online modes.… Expand

    This game takes nearly all the frustration and learning curve out of Pac-Man, replacing it with a colorful zen experience. It feels great to play, sounds great, and has so much to do that I've put tens of hours into the game without repeating a single challenge.

    Arguably the best pac man game; even better than the original. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtracks are catchy, the gameplay is addictive, overall a great buy.

    Whats so special about pacman u ask? Its simple yet challenging. It reqiures fast reflexs and improves dexterity and muscle memory. It can help u loose weight if u play it long enough without eating. And its tripped out, maniacz. I never gave 1 turd bout the old pacinator till i playd this version.     Stages change, speeds increase and the challenge ramps up the higher the score gets. This may not seem like a big deal to you, the reader right now. But,    Everyone has heard or tried Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man, hell even my mom did and she hated video games!! Needless to say, this a flashier take on the classic, that gives your the same entertaining gameplay it had then, WITH A TWIST!

    Quality reworking of the arcade classic with a host of constantly mutating mazes and pretty visual effects that enhance rather than detract from the core gameplay. A fine example of how a reboot of an old classic should be done.
