    Absolutely the most enthralling cinematic game experience I've played, ever. Addicting gameplay, plenty of options, weapons and equipment to satisfy war junkies, and varied action along with intense character development make this game excel on all fronts. The audio design and visuals set a new bar.

    MGS4 is very good game, if game is so great as others MGS games it must be great. Fuck hamurgers that can't see nothing out of Gears of War or other games with so inteligent history. Now I understand why other side of earth say that americans are the most dumb country in the world!

    I am not allow to spoil anything and that was the deal for getting an early copy of MGS4 but guys this game is worth even the $85+ for the collectors edition.

    it has all you need in a game full of action and espionage.
    that 90 minute scene crap is all nothing but flamebait.
    If you are an early MGS fan you wont be disappointed

    This is easily the best game you will play ever itthe PS3 system, and if you are a fan of the series this game will rock you,, its kojima at his best, the story finaly ends here, you will be shocked by who are the patriots, and who knew about them!

    If you're an idiot, the game's probably not going to make much sense to you. MGS4's plot encompasses three other titles. It's very complex and deep, though the Gears of War masses will think it's convoluted because of the required intellectual capacity. With that said, the gameplay is pretty much open to everyone, no matter where they stand in the IQ department. If you're an idiot, the game's probably not going to make much sense to you. The difficulty curve might be steep for newbs, but a half hour to an hour of practice will yield positive results. I would trust the critics, mainly IGN and Gamespot; most other media are really just trying to get their names out there. It'd be nice if metacritic would stick to professional sites/mags, but they don't. Guess we just have to deal with it.… Expand

    At last we have found a game that can only be described as Art. After decades of trying to be recognized as such. The game lifts you up and brings you down. t has been said that games can only become art when they can make their gamers cry. I cried during MGS4 (towards the end of Act 4), and I'm not afraid to admit it. A masterpiece.

    The best game ever made. It made me feel more amazed by the history than most of the movies i have seen, it has a incredible combat and gameplay, amazing final battle and music and great online. Everybody who didn't liked it did not finish it or played it

    Great game!!! I only played a level or 2 on some of the old Metal Gear games but I still loved this game. Before this game COD4 was the best gaming experience I've ever had, but no more. I haven't even played my GTAIV game since I bought this one.

    I will be surprised to find someone not liking this game. The feel of epic, as it is the final chapter of a saga. This is really the title that should be praised in years to come.

    Mesmerizing from beginning to end, everything about this game just exudes craftsmanship, in my eyes Hideo Kojima is not just an auteur but a creative genius.

    A truly great game, with excellent gameplay, a gripping story, and amazing graphics. Without the half-hour cutscenes, it wouldn't be Metal Gear Solid!

    Hideo Kojima is a complete genius. There is no doubt about it. This game had me captivated from beginning to end, with so many different ways to play, should I use my grenade launcher and barge straight through an enemy post, should I carefully snipe them all silently or just avoid them all together and sneak through. It really is amazing, by far the best game on ps3. Perhaps even the Hideo Kojima is a complete genius. There is no doubt about it.     I love those people who troll and such, most likely with out even watching the trailer for the game let alone buying it. Most of them may be mad because they bought a 360 rather than the amazing PS3. All that aside, MGS4 was a brilliant game, the occasional bits of humor mixed with a scoring system that wasn't entirely pointless (Drebin Points) brought this series to a miraculous I love those people who troll and such, most likely with out even watching the trailer for the game let alone buying it. I did find a little distress in the long cut scenes, however they tell the story, though some of the times I just wanted to play. I have played the previous MGS games, so I watched the cut scene diligently, and even if you have no history with MGS, there are some funny things in the cutscenes... Amazing game, tons of things to do, I've played through it once already and I'm still discovering things to do the second time around.… Expand

    Certainly one of the best games ever made, to everyone who havent played it yet, GET IT NOW! , if you don't have a PS3 then buy a PS3 for this game and then run on PSN and get SuperStarDust HD aswell, then you have the two best games in years.

I've heard that many people didn't like the game because of the many cutscenes but, you must accept it when you don't like films (well, I enjoy the lengthy cutscenes) and they are very Where should I begin?     Emotional, supremely playable, highly stylized and graphics that are simply head and shoulders above any other console game. Perhaps the best thing to happen to gaming in the last decade.

    You have to play through this game several times.The game play if fun no matter which way you chose to play. I recommend playing it once run and gun and once stealth to get the full flavor. The best storyline of any game ever made. Inchworm FTW.

    An amazing game and truly the best game of all time. The story was top-notch, multiplayer, as some say rivals COD4, gameplay was amazing, graphics got close to Uncharted and sound... superb! Still, the big twist at the end, revealed by an unexpected character, is kinda stupid, you will know it when you see it and after you get every weapon, FACE-CAMO and emblem, you can still play it but An amazing game and truly the best game of all time. The story was top-notch, multiplayer, as some say rivals COD4, gameplay was amazing, graphics got close to Uncharted and sound... superb! Still, the big twist at the end, revealed by an unexpected character, is kinda stupid, you will know it when you see it and after you get every weapon, FACE-CAMO and emblem, you can still play it but it will be quite boring.     How do you make a game that transcends traditional gameplay? You make an incredible story that is completely interwoven into the game; not to mention you put in amazing graphics and super fun gameplay. If the opening theme in the main menu doesn't get you in the mood, you don't know good taste!
