    Finally we get all three Mass Effect games on the ps3. I've played all three on my xbox 360 and I have to say Mass Effect 1 plays better on the ps3. This trilogy pack contains the 3 greatest games of all time and in my opinion the greatest there will ever be. I've been playing games since I was 3, i'm 22 now and I must say playing this series is the best experience any gamer can have. TheFinally we get all three Mass Effect games on the ps3. I've played all three on my xbox 360 and I have to say Mass Effect 1 plays better on the ps3. This trilogy pack contains the 3 greatest games of all time and in my opinion the greatest there will ever be. I've been playing games since I was 3, i'm 22 now and I must say playing this series is the best experience any gamer can have. The packaging is spot on when you first remove the sleeve and open it up you see the N7 logo with only 3 disks unlike the 360 where there is 5 discs. Yes that means no more swapping disc 1 for disc 2. Plus the ps3 version of the trilogy has more available DLC then the 360 or PC versions. For gamers looking for the best entertainment experience ever, the Mass Effect trilogy is where you will find it no matter what system you own.… Expand

    A great Sci-fi trilogy that manages to create a deep, interesting world that arguably outshines Star Wars and Star Trek.

    A much better deal on the PS3 than the 360 because of all the free DLC you get. On the PS3 you get Kasumi, Overlord, LOTSB for free w/ ME2 & Omega free on w/ ME3. Those all must be purchased on the 360.

    Mass Effect...on PS3. That's really all that needs to be said. Played them all on PC, but looking forward to replaying as a "renegade" versus a "paragon". And now on the PS3 where I get the benefit of a larger screen and the console controls that were obviously intended (given the Xbox roots). It's just a shame it took so long to port it. From just the first game of the three, you canMass Effect...on PS3. That's really all that needs to be said. Played them all on PC, but looking forward to replaying as a "renegade" versus a "paragon". And now on the PS3 where I get the benefit of a larger screen and the console controls that were obviously intended (given the Xbox roots). It's just a shame it took so long to port it. From just the first game of the three, you can tell there are some small changes to allow for the console's control scheme, but the audio/video presentation is all preserved right down to the Turian vibrated tones and the so-called grain look. Looking forward to experiencing the bundled DLC with the exception, of course, of the latest DLC for ME3 which will have to be bought separately. Will keep me busy all winter long, I'm sure.… Expand

    Mass effect is my favorite games of all time

    I have replayed them all multiple times

    the end of ME3 was kinda lame but ME and ME2 make up for THE LAST 10 minutes of ME3

    by far and epic game trilogy I highly recommend this for anyone that loves sci fi

    Mass Effect is an great game,and finally we can play the original one on Playstation 3. However, the fact that Mass Effect 1 and 2 doesn't have all the DLC's, it's a real shame, since it ruin the collection as a hole. That's why the 7, since we'll probably have to buy these missing DLC's.

    ME1 and ME2 are great. They set an exiting setting for ME3. Unfortunately BioWare completely butchered ME3 and personally ruined the ME franchise for me. The ending of the trilogy was so important and boy was I looking forward to an epic clash between the allied forces and the mysteries Reapers. In order not to spoil I'll leave it with this: After playing the horrible ending of ME3 theME1 and ME2 are great. They set an exiting setting for ME3. Unfortunately BioWare completely butchered ME3 and personally ruined the ME franchise for me. The ending of the trilogy was so important and boy was I looking forward to an epic clash between the allied forces and the mysteries Reapers. In order not to spoil I'll leave it with this: After playing the horrible ending of ME3 the entire series was castrated. The excitement I felt toward it dropped. Even days after finishing ME3 I was bummed out. Really bummed. I have lost all will to replay any of the ME games. You put in a lot of hours and money to finish these games and in the end BioWare returns the favour by taking an unfairly huge dump on your forehead. Even worse the trilogy contains very little DLC. One could expect to at least get the majority of the DLC for the games with such a box set. But the will to make money is greater than pleasing loyal fans. Which is also shown not just in the DLC department but also in the mutilated ending of the franchise.… Expand

    As a long time PS fanboy, the Mass Effect series was one title I was missing out on. Then they released ME2 bon PS3 with some sort of interactive comic to play out the events of ME1. I was not interested in that.

    I waited for the Trilogy to come out, and it was worth the wait. ME2 is the best of the trilogy.

Now i know the fanboys will probably hate me for this but go right ahead, Mass Effect is a good but extremely overrated series! Now don't get me wrong these games are fun and do feature some good story moments but the fact that people are saying this is the best story in all of gaming... well its justMass Effect...     In my opinion, these are THE BEST games ever made. Whether that is true or not is up for grabs but it gives you an idea of what to expect. If you have never played these before, what are you waiting for?

    This is an interesting case. Mass Effect 1 is a great game and Mass Effect 2 is even better. Mass Effect 3 had an ending that ruined the entire trilogy. Lets get a summary first. Mass Effect was the Star Wars for video games. It created a universe full of interesting characters, stories, history, conflicts, alien species, politics, technology, ideologies and cultures. The lore was so goodThis is an interesting case. Mass Effect 1 is a great game and Mass Effect 2 is even better. Mass Effect 3 had an ending that ruined the entire trilogy. Lets get a summary first. Mass Effect was the Star Wars for video games. It created a universe full of interesting characters, stories, history, conflicts, alien species, politics, technology, ideologies and cultures. The lore was so good that I had many good discussions with friends and read many articles in the Mass Effect Wiki. You have also a codex in each game where you can look up things for more details. Then they had a unique idea for the Mass Effect games. You can import your decisions into the next games. This was as interesting as impactful. Many of us had again so good discussions and arguments what the best course of action was or which outcome the decisions will have. There were a lot of mayor and some minor decisions that gave you different results in the follow up games. Then came the conclusion for the trilogy that shatter everything. I mentioned in my reviews for the individual games that I wanted to replay all of them to get my favourite (and satisfying) outcomes. I haven't touched the games since then and probably wouldn't in the future. The ending controversy got even into the media. BioWare made even a survey about the ending on their website which they removed quickly and silently because of the results. I compared this to the conclusion for Game of Thrones (or the Dark Tower in books). It is the same thing. The journey was beautiful and well worth it while the end undoes nearly everything. For details see the list of the famous YouTuber Angry Joe or watch the YouTube video which compares all endings (at once) and you will see what got the community enraged. They later tried to fix this with a free DLC (Really good material) but it was to late. The reviving with Mass Effect Andromeda failed miserable (The “My face is tired” meme is hilarious). Overall only the question remains what rating should I give to the trilogy. I can give 7/10 from the combined rating divided by 3 (10/10/1) or give 1/10 because of the conclusion. I will give 3/10 because the ending is important enough to have a higher value. If you don't believe me find a movie/book/video game/TV series were the ending is abysmal and you can give a good review with honesty and no doubts afterwards.… Expand

    Fantastic! Just amazing! I played the three games in one row and loved every hour of it! Even the lack of depth in ME2 and ME3 could stop me from playing. The ability of choice and the amazing story (i even liked the ending of ME3) kept me playing on and on! These games are definitely on my top 3 ps3 games list!

    The compendium of the trilogy (the first game hadn't been released for PS3 so it's a chance to get physical), 3 great games that take you on an adventure of approximately 150 hours, a story that connects brilliantly and respects your decisions game after game.

    "Mass Effect Trilogy": Amazing game, it provides an amazing experience for the player. 7 out of 7. Played it on PlayStation 3.

    A great collection of games in one package. Each Mass Effect game in this trilogy is a 9/10 in my opinion. These games are a little stiff in the gameplay department and the PS3 does struggle a bit with the graphics, but overall this is a great collection for the system.
