If you like Mahjong you will like this game. My wife loves it. When she read the reviews on Metacritic from IGN and Gaming Age she was like, "What do they expect? It's Mahjong". We like the multiplayer on it, she likes the different game types. For $10 we are definatly getting our money worth out of it. At this point, making a decent Mahjong game should be a cakewalk, but Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom's lame control scheme, poor sound quality, and lackluster visuals prove that the world of mahjong videogames still has a long way to go.
  2. Mahjong Tales: Ancient Wisdom is a boring, and uninspired take on classic Mahjong Solitaire, and it's definitely not something I suggest to people looking for something on the PSN.
  3. For a mildly cerebral experience it’s probably up there with the PSN’s other puzzle titles. It is overpriced, however, and the score reflects that.
