Expand

Ah the good old days of challenging video games. This expansion has four or five new mission lines, where the one provided by Yusuf is a high point in the series. The story doesn't REALLY make sense. It's about money and people who want it. The gameplay is mostly standard GTA stuff. Some missions show creativity, but none of them blow your mind.

You rarely have to really deal with the cops, because the wanted level goes down as soon as you hide somewhere. The campaign felt kind of 'tacked on' to the game world, as opposed to a game where the scenery is created for the story to unfold most gracefully.

The gunplay offers more challenge than that of GTA 5, but it still has that automated lock on feature that makes it a little bit non-engaging.

If you're desperate for 6-8 hours of extra GTA, then this is your package.

  1. The Ballad of Gay Tony again takes the cheeky and impossible spirit of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, and brings it back to life with the fantastic technology from GTA IV. An amazing opportunity to revisit the always amazing Liberty City.

GTA returns to its utmost craziness through a great and charming story.
  3. The amusing dialogue, fun gameplay, and delightfully absurd missions make this a must-buy for everyone, whether by download (in which case it requires a copy of GTA IV to run) or on disc with The Lost and Damned.
