    This was just an amazing game to play through. For Vigils first game ever they achieved what few well established developers have and that's a brilliant blend of action/adventure and puzzle solving.

    This is a game designed by gamers. There is so much to love about Darkisders, the huge bosses, the fun hack and slash, the dark storyline, the horseman's continually increasing arsenal of weapons and tools, and the game design amongst other things. The downisde however is the somewhat repetitive gameplay, but overall the game is great.

    Class act top to bottom. Amazing visuals, and a very interesting art-style. It is true that it takes a lot of ideas from other games like Zelda or God of War, but the way it implements them is very fantastic.

    First off, while the game does apply aspects of games we've already played, it takes so many things from so many different games that it's impossible to say that it's a carbon copy of a game we already have. The graphics in this game are fantastic. They may not be the most vivid details or textures, but still very good. It's also very colorful, which is a nice change from recent post-apocalyptic games. The boss battles are quite fun and they also look really great, and are, for the most part, HUGE. The weapons and items you get to take down these bosses with are also fun. While they didn't reinvent the wheel, they created cool weapons that fit with the story and kill stuff, and quite frankly, that's all you can ask for. (: My only gripes about the game is that most experienced gamers will want to boost the difficulty if you don't want to get caught button mashing. But that's fixable by merely adjusting the difficulty setting. My second of two complaints is that Ruin is not as big of a star as it's made out he would be. While he does become mildly important and makes the game that much more fun, he doesn't come in until you've taken a nice chunk out of the story. The pros on this game are awesome and the cons are just nitpicky things. All in all a fantastic game and an excellent effort on Vigil's first go at the business. There is some room for improvement, and I would expect to see it in DS's follow-up or in a new IP. 9.5/10… Expand

    i like this game quite a bit. even though the only thing unique about this gmae is the story i enjoy playing through this and the only thing i see people complaining about is the fact that it does not have any origanality but i for one dont care because it is taking the good parts of the games it copies and puts them all together into one nice little package. the graphics are pretty goodi like this game quite a bit. even though the only thing unique about this gmae is the story i enjoy playing through this and the only thing i see people complaining about is the fact that it does not have any origanality but i for one dont care because it is taking the good parts of the games it copies and puts them all together into one nice little package. the graphics are pretty good and i love the character design and every time i saw a new character or monster i had to say to myself "Wow" because the artists that made this game put alot of care into designing this game. the puzzles are very good as well because they are not all easy and they are just hard enough to get you frustrated but when you finnaly do it you feel a sense of accomplishment. really the only problems i had with this game were the stale voice acting and the linear story. the voice acting is not very good in this game due to the fact that it is very stale they are always talking about the journey ahead and putting just a little comedy in there once and a while can never hurt. the game is way too linear but it does not diminish the fact that it is a good game but dont fool yourself into thinking that you have any control over the story in any way because it is just basicly a straight line from start to finish with obvious structures and walls that pop up behind you to keep you going in the right direction. this game is a must have for all gamers and is very easy to pick up and play and i cant recomend it enough… Expand

    Hands down! One of the best games this gen.. The Story is AMAZING!! the main protagonist is badass... I liked this game more than Devil may cry 4 and God of War 3 !! I dont know why people are saying that Darksiders is a **** game and God of War 3 is better!! To be honest i liked God of War 3 , but Darksiders is soooo much better!! The gameplay and the story makes it one of the best gamesHands down! One of the best games this gen.. The Story is AMAZING!! the main protagonist is badass...     You should brace up for a hybrid of GoW, 300(the PSP game) and Demon's Soul kinda game... The over-all atmosphere is immersive albeit it looks cartoonish for the most part. The characters were sort of stripped of "grim-ness" maybe to appeal more to younger audiences and add a lightened ambiance in the otherwise brutal gameplay. Speaking of that, the controls are easy to learn and You should brace up for a hybrid of GoW, 300(the PSP game) and Demon's Soul kinda game... Speaking of that, the controls are easy to learn and combos do not take a while to learn. That makes this game very engaging and entertaining (so far)...HACK and SLASH is the key element in the gameplay (button mashing,eh?). So that means this aspect of the game makes up for the slightly disappointing graphics element as I mentioned above. The gameplay, to sum up, is a bit repetitive. Sound is also great but otherwise generic, action-type. Now, in terms of cut-scenes, it's like watching an animated fantasy-action-religious movie at the same time as the whole story is somewhat based on the Bible's last book, the Revelation (Apocalypse). Being the first of the Horseman, WAR, you embark on a war for your own salvation of existence after being fooled into starting the final battle. Where this game will take my character? Can't wait to see... It's amazing how a great game like this would be deprived of the hype (reminds me of Demon's Soul) like the one bestowed on CoDMW4 or AC2. Hope experiences like mine would drive sales of this beautiful game.… Expand

    This game is so much fun to play and the story line is as original as it gets. IMHO this game does everything right. The fighting is fast and furious yet uncomplicated. It has the right blend of RPG elements but none of the boring grind. The boss battles are challenging but not overly difficult. The graphics are well done and what you would expect from next gen.     What a way to start off 2010! Darksiders is a complete work of art. Epic story and backdrop plus the Earth after the catastrophic and ultimate fall of man during the apocalypse is simply stunning to behold. The Combat at first simple chaining of the square button with R1 to block, soon broadens into a vast array of moves that, with 3 main weapons (each with their own move set) is totally What a way to start off 2010! Darksiders is a complete work of art. Epic story and backdrop plus the Earth after the catastrophic and ultimate fall of man during the apocalypse is simply stunning to behold. The Combat at first simple chaining of the square button with R1 to block, soon broadens into a vast array of moves that, with 3 main weapons (each with their own move set) is totally overwhelming, but the pace at which you can learn these moves and advance as your weapons increase in level, gives you time to master each one. Take time to practice chaining combos, it's worth it to watch the action flow beautifully. The array of customisation within the weapons and assorted geare you carry with you, isn't quite RPG level, but more than enough yo keep you engaged. The characters are all very well acted, players of Batman: Arkham Asylum will immediately recognise Mark Hamill (The Joker) as the Watcher, the being bound to you by the charred council to keep War under constant vigilance. He does occasionally help you out with tips, or hold select for a hint from the Watcher if you forget where yo uare supposed to be going during all that exploration. Little can be said of War himself, or indeed his true form, The Chaos Form, a massive Balrog-esque being wreathed in toiling flames! It must be seen ot appreciate the level of detail that has gone into the chracter. As it is with world in which war finds himself, stripped of his powers and facing a world of Demons and armoured Battle Angels all trying to send you to packing with the Chaoseater (war's mighty saber) between your legs. Exploration. Battle. Puzzles. Epic. Epic. EPIC!… Expand

    This game is fun end of story. Its nice to see that a few games being released lately are delving alittle more into the hell vs heaven storylines. Seeing first screen shots of this game i thought that in-game it was gonna be too cartoonish on the visuals but actually playing it i was proved wrong. The visuals are good. One thing I would like to point out is I'am seeing some reviews This game is fun end of story.     I'd give it an 8.5 if it was available. This game is definitely an early sleeper for 2010. The beautiful and diverse backgrounds set through out the game really set the stage. The voiceovers are clear and concise and give each character his/her identity. Its God of War-esque with more open space. Even though there are a lack of combos, the overall combat and decent magic spells make I'd give it an 8.5 if it was available. This game is definitely an early sleeper for 2010. Being able to venture back to previously unreachable places and upgrade yourself accordingly creates an added interest. War is a character to like as well as he gets down to business, looks like a bad-ass and carries a fearsome sword. I am quite bias toward action adventure games (God of War, Devil May Cry, Onimusha) however, either way, this game was a pleasant surprise, kept my interest, excited me for a sequel.… Expand

    its what Ive been waiting for since the release of the ps3.also its a masterpiece from Joe mad (battle chasers,x-men) a true masterpiece (Zelda meets devil may cry meets metroid)and a must have! i just hope Joe mad finish the whole series since mad never finish what he start.

    This game was surprisingly fun. I was expecting a GoW rip off but I was very wrong. It has good action, great level design and top notch voice acting. A must have gmae.

    A solid and very well done adventure game. War is a badass plain and simply and the art is incredible. The story is well done and well performed even though it may sound cliche on the surface.

    All I can say about this game is WOW! Ignore those who say this copies Zelda and such without being as good because being a die hard Zelda fan myself I can honestly say this game is brilliantly done and is just as good as Zelda.

    while there are great elements to this game and they mesh well I think that it could use a bit more polish, I look at this as a top 20 or top 10 game this year and look forward to the sequel which, with a bit of luck could be a game of the year contender whenever it is released

    This is probably the best game I have played in recent memory. It's everything that Sony and Microsoft needed: A really good action/adventure game. Be warned though: After playing Darksiders, God of War will seem much inferior due to its linearity. Darksiders is more engaging and rewards you constantly, something other developers should take notes of. I can't wait for the sequel!

    Great graphics, great game play, eye candy like no other. I could not put the game down. All the details and finishing touches make it one of the best games I have played. I can highly recommend it. It is great value. I cannot wait to see if there is a sequel. I

    This game is absolutely fantastic. I did not know what to expect at first, but being seven hours in, I can honestly say that this is a beautiful game with great dungeons that are, in my oppinion, better than any found in the latest Zelda game, and the story is fantastic. HIGHLY recommended.

    I am a little farther than halfway through this game, and I must say that it is quite impressive. The combat and graphics are reminiscent of God of War, as you may expect, but the gear and level design reminds me strongly of Metroid Prime for the Gamecube. You are always unlocking some new thing that opens up new areas to you, and you always see places you want to go but can't yet. The graphics are fairly good, not the best but not so far below the best that they take away from the experience. The combat and use of weapons is smooth. The only cons for this game so far are occasional FPS lapses and the length; an approximated 15 hours, you will find, just doesn't seem like enough. Other than that though, the enemies are varied enough, the puzzles challenging but fun enough, and the secret areas secret enough to keep you playing until the end, and maybe even longer, though lack of any multiplayer or anything other than the campaign may take away from replay value.… Expand

    It took a while but it's finally out, and it might be the turning point in Austin TX development. I've got about 5 hrs invested and the more I play the more I like it. It is the son of Zelda meets God of War, thru and thru. Every step you take, baddie you kill, weapon you unlock, feels like Zelda or God of War. Which is definitely not a bad thing. I'm loving the characters, the fiction, the setting, and the baddassery of it all. I'll round up an 8.5 to a 9 just cause I'm a fan of Joe Mad and I have a good amount of buddies that worked on the title.… Expand

Essentially Darksiders is Zelda presented in a colorful dark fantasy comic artstyle (similar to World of Warcraft's look) with tasteful amounts of blood and gore and deep combat mechanics similar to God of War and Devil May Cry. It's a very well paced game. Darksiders knows how to shuffle the different I love Darksiders. It's just how I wanted Zelda to be like all my life. Essentially Darksiders is Zelda presented in a colorful dark fantasy comic artstyle (similar to World of Warcraft's look) with tasteful amounts of blood and gore and deep combat mechanics similar to God of War and Devil May Cry. It's a very well paced game. Darksiders knows how to shuffle the different game mechanics around, all the while adding new layers ontop of each of them. There's dungeon crawling with puzzle rooms, combat challenges, mounted combat, 3rd person shooting, Panzer Dragoon style on rails shooting and very good bossfights as well as Metroidvania-style backtracking for goodies and upgrades. Great game. I hope Darksiders will do well. I want Darksiders to become a franchise. Darksiders is better suited than Zelda to give me my Zelda gaming experience. Love it!… Expand

    I am pretty surprised with this game. Great graphics, gameplay, and story. Nintendo needs to take note and make a Zelda for grown ups because that is what this is. It's a must buy in my book.

    Closer to an 8.5 to a 9... some pacing issues and surprising shifts in difficulty that need to be ironed out if (hopefully when) there is ever a Darksiders 2. A refreshing new IP that is part Zelda-clone and part GoW-clone. In a market full of similar shooters and uninspired, "safe" games - Darksiders is really very refreshing and enjoyable.

    I definitely like the idea of melding together aspects of some of my favorite games (Zelda, GOW) but It was hard going from Dantes Inferno (The game I was playing before this) to this as Darksiders graphics don't have the same detail and polish (And I can't pinpoint it, but Wars running animation doesn't seem quite right!), but overall it's an enjoyable game with I definitely like the idea of melding together aspects of some of my favorite games (Zelda, GOW) but It was hard going from Dantes Inferno (The game I was playing before this) to this as Darksiders graphics don't have the same detail and polish (And I can't pinpoint it, but Wars running animation doesn't seem quite right!), but overall it's an enjoyable game with aspects of other great games (Just don't expect it to be as great as the afformentioned games and you'll enjoy it more) Oh, and I picked it up new for $39.99 at GameStop, so if you see it for that price it's a no brainer! … Expand

Joe Mad's art style sets a whole new standard for character and model designs, and it is tough for even games like God of War or Zelda to match the artistic talent that Darksiders had driving it. The gameplay is easy enough to pick up, but still offers more than enough combos and wepon diversity to satisfy hardcore action fans. All the weapons are easily accessible without having to pause the game and cycle through menus and menus of items. Combos are easy to pull off, but creative players can attack an enemy with a sword, scythe, gun, gauntlet, and a chain in one fluid motion before the enemy ever drops to the ground. If all of that is not enough, then there are plenty of artifacts, enhancements, and collectibles to gather throughout the game. Every twist and turn rewards you with a new weapon or a new item - so the entire experience is satisfying up until the very ending. Riding around on Ruin, which is like a badass Epona from hell, alone is worth the price of admission. I would easily take this game over the majority of the games it is influenced by. It is worth every minute and penny you spend on it. Good work Vigil - give us a sequel.… Expand

Some of the game's biggest flaws are the obvious attempts of borrowing the most intricate details of other action games.     To me, this game is just as amazing as God of War. The visuals are beautiful. If you love these types of games, then Darksiders is for you. I am surprised most critics did not give this game a 9+/10. Definitely an underrated game.

    I do not understand....why does it matter if the game uses concepts from other games? it works and its very fun.....the game doesn't have to be all original for it to be fun and exciting. I enjoyed the game very much and I recommended for anyone who likes God of War type games. A+++++

    How many times have I wondered why doesn't games breed ideas from different games to make a complete multi-genre game. Well, Darksiders has major influences from The Legend Of Zelda series, huge battle implications from God Of War, some Fable like camera movement and then you have a well written story with very dark atmosphere. In my opinion, best adventure game of the year (2010)... How many times have I wondered why doesn't games breed ideas from different games to make a complete multi-genre game. Well, Darksiders has major influences from The Legend Of Zelda series, huge battle implications from God Of War, some Fable like camera movement and then you have a well written story with very dark atmosphere. Aside from the eccentric shopkeeper and an angry blacksmith its really just your somewhat one-sided character trundling from one waypoint to the next, with very little real challenge even on the hardest mode. The developers are promising a sequel with towns, side missions and a wider cast of characters, that could be the recipe for a really great fantasy RPG. Lets hope!… Expand

In other official reviews I read that the combat got old, I never felt this way. I thought it was fun till the very end trying to pull off as many combos as possible. The temples were good, if not a little on the easy side, however the last temple you are in really shows the potential that the possible sequels could have. The puzzles where challenging and engaging with just the right amount of combat worked in. My one issue is that the game was a little on the short side for what it was. I finished at a little over 20 hours. That is long for most single player games today, but when it is in the same general genre as games like Zelda that clocks in around 50+ hours. If you are someone who really likes to collect all items (which I am... not sure what happened this game as I really failed in that area) then you could probably stretch it out to around 25-30 hours. Its a great game and I highly recommend it.… Expand

What could drive you to complete it is facing the final boss the destroyer (sounds epic huh) unless you watched it on youtube and seen the surprise then there's no point in continuing. despite my negative outlook in playing this I still had fun with it and since this is vigil games first game its pretty impressive with the art-style and all the stuff they put in it and I think its some of the familiar gameplay like Zelda, God Of War feel and playing it safe makes it a bit boring at first and since War's personality is a just the stare and very annoyed look the character doesn't give much motivation to I MUST KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS MAN quest. But with one game under their belt and a upcoming sequel for them to address the flaws and take risks and experiment to make it unique I am very looking forward to it and hearing that you may play the other horseman excites me to see how each play differently especially the character Strife because if he uses his guns in hand to hand combat then I will be having a lot of fun seeing him blast them apart than just simply punch or slash will that not be awesome?!… Expand

    You see a game really needs to grab me right away, and the opening to this game just wasn't paced right for me. I let it gather dust for a year and now I'm really sad I did, because when I finally gave it the time of day I was pleasantly surprised!

    While it does crawl to a start, once you get going the adventure just sucks you in! The worlds are apocalyptic wastelands and ruins you explore trying to upgrade all your gear and figure out what's going on.

    The boss fights are nothing short of epic, and the voice acting is superb for the characters. I don't think I've ever been so excited to see the next boss, or meet the next character in the story as this game.

    There are lots of puzzles to solve and areas to explore, and the more gear you get the more you are going to want to revisit past areas with new abilities. By the end of the game you are totally equipped to handle anything and you'll want to explore every inch of this incredible world.

    I would have given this game a higher score, but the pacing in the beginning really did put me off for a long time, and there are a lot of frustrating puzzles that you wont have any clue what to do on. And the story is a little watered down.

    This game really is incredible, it mixes so many names in and really makes it stand out as it's own game. This game is really cheap these days, and the sequel is due out soon so there is no reason you should pass on this game at all.

    It's an incredible adventure, who's bosses are down right awesome! You're sure to have a good time with this one, if you like any of the games I've compared it to. Just be sure to tolerate the first 30 minutes and you won't be disappointed !    … Expand

    I know it's symptomatic of the genre, but this game is far to linear. I never felt like i was actually in control of War's journey. It was always so obvious where to go next. "Get the key, open the only door that you found that needs a key" type of thing. Boss fights are somewhat of a joke.     A decent third-person action adventure of good length that unabashedly mimicks Zelda, God of War, and Portal but fails to establish a personality of its own. Too busy trying to be cool and violent when a bit of humor might have made a world of difference. Not bad per se, just forgettable.

Lot's of fingers point towards the likes of Metroid and Zelda as inspirations, and whilst this is undoubtedly true, the sad fact is that Darksiders isn't as well designed or made as either of those franchises. That said, if you can bear the idea of an endless dungeon slog, or the notion of a solid-yet-inferior Metroid / Zelda hybrid truly appeals to you... Darksiders might well be the game for you.… Expand

    Overall, as I've said before, it's a decent game, but I think it lacks the small details that make a great, or even a good game, like War's speed and mobility, the amount of souls and experience received, the fact that in reality, you only really need to use the sword and that the rest of the weapons are pretty useless, also it could've probably gotten a 7 if the music was decent or made it's present heard because you can play for hours with there being close to no music at all, which is a strange decision since it would have added to the atmosphere.    … Expand

It's just God Of War with the hero being Altair wearing the Ares armour from GOW and he has the Blade of Olympus. If anything it also copied Beowulf the game which also copied GOW.     I didn't care for this game. The graphics are decent, nothing more. The world didn't feel engaging and never felt "real". The combat is restricted to one button and that gets repetitive. The platforming was and puzzles are less then standard. The game never seems to have a face either. It looks and feels like there's 13 in a dozen of these games.

    This game is a lot of fun. Only lacks originality because it's a copy of what is the Zelda and God of War combined. And both of these (especially Zelda) are way better. Never the less it's fun to play. Money and time well spent in my opinion.

    I have just recently come back to gaming after a 10 year hiatus. I was always a Nintendo kid growing up, but I'm not a fan of the Wii so I got a PS3. This game is the closest thing to a Zelda game that I have been able to find. I absolutely loved it! I thought the story was good and the ending leaves itself open to sequels.     I was disappointed to be honest. This game is nothing more than a button masher. The storyline is definitely original but not captivating, it's easy to forget about. It's a good game if you've had a hard day and feel like sitting down and mashing some buttons, but there's little skill involved in it. Zero replay value.

    Jack of all trades and master of none, Darksiders borrows heavily from well-loved franchises like Zelda (and even Portal towards the end) but still manages to craft its own identity. Surprisingly long and challenging, it's a fine effort for a new IP.

    I bougth this game a year later after the release when the price seemed reasonable, I really liked this game. As people I have heard describe it, "it's like Legend of Zelda meets God of War". That's the best way to put it.

    You know... as far as 3rd person action adventures go this one is actually kind of underrated. Yes it owes a LOT of its identity to the legend of zelda franchise but by recreating it faithfully and adding hack and slash elements in a post-apocalyptic environment it creates quite the absorbing gaming experience. Not a Masterpiece but a fun game that I can wholeheartedly recommend

    Not sure why it took me until 2017 to play this game. Since the re-release of the game on PS4 and Xbox One, I thought it was as good as time as any to pick this game up on the cheap for last gen consoles. After playing through both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, I can confidently say that the PS3 version is the version you should get should you own both consoles and are looking to playNot sure why it took me until 2017 to play this game. For my first play through I thought it was a bit long for an action game, but once you have gone through it once, multiple play throughs are a breeze. It took me about 20 hours my first time playing and the second well under 13 hours.

    This is a pretty straight forward hack and slash action game with minimal RPG elements thrown in. I never felt lost at any point in the game, which is nice to be able to have the feeling of always progressing in a game rather than stuck for hours in one spot. Trophies are easily obtained and I am sure the platinum could be earned in at least 2 play throughs.

    After this game has been out for quite some time, I still found it extremely fun to play, even years later. However, if you have an Xbox One or PS4, I would pick it up there as it is more responsive and buttery smooth at 60 fps.    … Expand

    People may hear that I tend to dig the sequel to games more than the original. I have to say after beating Darksiders this game is better but not completely. Darksiders 2 doesn't have a story to it really it is way more gameplay based. Darksiders start out with story and the becomes very focused on gameplay and the last third of the game ends with a **** bang. I hear how people compare it to Zelda and I can see that but I honestly think this is like a more grown up, less buggier version of Zelda. I'm not trying to pick a fight with Zelda fans I haven't played a Zelda since the Gamecube so maybe they fixed the gameplay problems. Darksiders isn't without sin, it has it's problems, mostly dealing with the lock on mechanics, and the fact they give you a gun that is so **** worthless I wonder why they even chose to give it to me. Darksiders is about War (the horseman of the apocalypse) being framed for destroying humanity and him basically killing every demon to clear his name. It is a simple revenge story but done so, so well. The game is in a nutshell a adventure hack n slash game, you get to fight extremely big demons and do puzzles; it is all done extremely well. I'll admit I wasn't patient enough with some of the puzzles that I did look them up but that is because I am a lazy gamer I won't lie. This game has the perfect amount of challenge to it where if you **** up you will die but if you pay attention and be on your toes you will be a bad ass mother ****er. The game has a fantastic ending and Mark Hamill and this **** demon constantly tormenting you is like the cherry on top. I will say the game isn't as story filled as I might lead you to believe there is a large amount of no talking at all but that is filled with just fun gameplay of killing demon scum. I would recommend this to most everyone this game has the right mixture of open world and keeping you on a linear path. It has some annoying fights but I can't dog on it for my lack of skill.     I probably played this game in 2011 or 2012 and never really liked it. The gameplay felt like a ripoff of God of War and nothing about it felt unique or innovative. It was also painfully easy and the story wasn't memorable. I especially did not like the cliff-hanger ending.

    The first Darksiders game had nearly everything. A strong fighting system, nice puzzles and great RPG elements.Overall rating: 8.7.

The hack and slash gameplay is clearly the selling point along with the apocalyptic comic-style visuals and story. The gameplay mechanics do work pretty decently in a God of War type manner, and the characters did have a good amount of detail put into them.     A lot of the areas border between seeming inspired and formulaic, and that's a lot of my take-away here. I don't like being forced into arena settings when the objectives are occasionally more nuanced than the controls. I don't like fighting droves of tanky flying enemies when they have frequent ranged attacks that aren't stuttered by my incredibly weak ranged attack. It's needlessly time consuming and makes angels look insufferable compared to demons. To say it's a game made by gamers for gamers is to say it isn't actually all that inviting unless you're addicted to game mechanics and art direction is enough to get you by.

    I don't mean to be needlessly harsh, but then again, the angels in this game sure do, so screw em. The wrath abilities aren't very evenly useful either.

    Honestly, it's not a bad game, but it also feels a little too aged for its year. The story doesn't really do anything for me past "oh cool, they let the character do that. Well, it'd be disappointing if he didn't, I suppose." It's like "hey, here's some cool demon stuff." If that's good enough for you, try it out. I personally feel like the story doesn't give enough rationalization or relatable characterization, making some of the creatures who interact with you kind of just seem like dicks, including the guy who follows you around, berating you when you mess up. Whoever thought that was an enjoyable choice for a video game probably has emotional issues. lol

    The cross blade has an animation like it's grinding through enemies' insides, but how little damage it does against angels makes me feel like I'm using a fidget spinner on a gang of bullies.    … Expand

    This was one of the first games I got for ps3 and it was amazing. the action, story, overall art style was great. I kept wanting to play more, solve puzzles, and advance to see what would happen next. I highly recommend this.

    Solid game overall with some frustrating puzzles and some minor issues with controls in a few spots. Very basic hack and slash combat and fun for a playthrough.
