    Awful, no fun to play, weak graphics, a real shot in the foot for the Conflict series.

    Simply abysmal all around. I wonder why they did not just took the very good (and very underrated) Conflict Global as a template. A different design team must have created this one - probably as a bad joke or user test or something. Afterwards they just released it as part of the Conflict-Series which is nothing less than an insult.

    I loved this game when it was 3rd person and fun.

    This on the other hand is simply unplayable.
    Luckily there is a demo but I would strongly recommend steering clear.
    Even the demo manages to annoy you.

    Pivotal, what are you doing...Go back to the roots of the series, it's a huge shame to see this franchise fall this badly.

    This game is really really really bad. I bought it on a whim and luckily for me my friend works at Gamestop so I was able to return it. I think this game would have been below average on last gen console and the fact its supposed to be current/next gen is a disgrace. Eidos has completely fallen off and now they really aren't even an average developer. The whole mechanic of this game This game is really really really bad. Also, the story, voice acting, character models and weak gameplay makes this the number 1 bomb thus far in 2008.… Expand

    The fact that there are two players, one off which HAS to use a sniper, one with regular guns, breaks the game completely.
    The two players are split up constantly but the sniper can't really defend himself from close range, so what's he to do? The sniper rifle isn't very powerful either.

    WORST GAME EVER.... There is not one single redeeming quality in this piece of utter garbage, I have never actually burned a game before until I was unlucky enough to come into possession of this abomination. The best part was watching it smoulder in the incinerator knowing that at least one gamer would be spared from the evil contained within. Awful, Hideous, Befouled, **** Never buy this game.

    What happened to the unique squad gameplay? Having 2 guys isn't enough, it's stupid to play, the A.I is atrocious, and it's just grating to even look at, let alone play. The previous 3 Conflict games were excellent, and required you to think and plan ahead. This is just a brash, crap shooter.

    There is a nice, long, challenging co-op campaign specifically designed for two players, with a satisfying level of gore    Split-screen co-op campaign is a blast with each person taking on a specialist role. One person plays as a heavy machine-gunner, and the other, as a weakling sniper, working together to shoot chumps and survive. What more could you ask for in a military-style FPS?

    There is a nice, long, challenging co-op campaign specifically designed for two players, with a satisfying level of gore and excellent graphical effects. The on-screen effects for getting injured present a convincing illusion of receiving pain.

    REALLY enjoyed how the game doesn't immediately force you to end when you kill friendly people with collateral damage. For that reason, this Conflict: Denied Ops is better than any Call of Duty/Modern Warfare game. When killing friendly characters is forbidden by a game engine, it's a sure sign of over-produced, carebear hand-holding that reduces player freedom and truly breaks immersion.

    Since playing Conflict: Denied Ops, I've been desperately seeking more graphic, split-screen co-op FPSs with friendly-fire, like this. Sadly, most FPSs these days are too high budget to allow players to feel like pioneers and do things the designers didn't intend.    … Expand

    Для начала скажу, что это одна из первых купленных мной игр в далеком детстве, но поэтому я попытаюсь быть максимально объективным.
    Достоинства:
    1 - Геймплей максимально казуальный: у главных героев бесконечные патроны к основному оружию, так же в игре всего две пушки - это снайперская винтовка у первого персонажа (Грейвс) и пулемет у второго персонажа (Лэнг) и по пистолету у каждого. Очень скудный арсенал, но это я отмечу в недостатках. Однако, главные герои по прохождении миссий будут получать новое вооружение (Гранатометы, дробовики и.т.д.), все это будет выражено в качестве "улучшений" для оружия", которых очень много. Сами же миссии максимально разнообразные, хоть и короткие. Вам будет предоставлена управление различной техникой, перестрелки в городе, стелс-миссии и много еще чего. Честно говоря, бездумно бегать и стрелять не надоедает. Искусственный интеллект напарника, конечно мог бы быть лучше, но он и не так плох, чтобы раздражать. Если вы ищите короткую игру, чтоб просто побегать и пострелять без сложностей, то эта игра для вас.
    2 - Саундтрек: В игре прекрасная музыкальная составляющая. Мне сложно сказать что-то больше, просто хочу отметить, что саундтрек сильный и запоминающийся.
    3 - Графика: Не знаю как графика в игре ощущалась в 2008 году, но в 2022 я не вижу в ней ничего плохого.
    4 - Персонажи: Лэнг и Грейвс как главные герои не плохи, хоть и пусты из-за лени сценариста. За них забавно играть и иногда их диалоги действительно могут повеселить. На роль типичных персонажей боевиков они идеально подходят.
    Недостатки:
    1 - Сюжет: О боже мой... В этой игре сюжет чуть ли не отсутствует, а те капли истории, что нам даны - ужасны. Игра переполнена банальной историей про двух бравых американских "героев", которые в очередной раз сражаются с терроризмом и злыми русскими (О нет, как же не банально!). В начале каждой миссии нам дают краткий экскурс о задании и кат-сцену, на этом все, поэтому общая цель для игрока теряется и ты лишь помнишь, что есть какой-то главный злодей Президент Венесуэлы и все.
    2 - Искусственный интеллект противников: Тут нечего говорить, противники это просто мальчики для битья, которые неплохо попадают по тебе начиная со второго уровня сложности. А так они могут в упор не увидеть игрока на стелс-миссии или наоборот учуять тебя на другом конце карты.
    3 - Слабое вооружение: Как я сказал ранее, разнообразия орудий убийств ничтожно мало, даже гранат всего 2 типа и только один из них нормально работает.

    Из всего сказано можно сделать вывод, что игра отнюдь не так плоха как ее приняли игроки в 2008 году.
    Объективно говоря игра заслуживает 6-7/10 , но я хочу, чтобы мой отзыв был положительным так что поставлю 8/10..    … Expand

    This isn't as cinematic or exciting as "Call of Duty 4," but for people who want to clear rooms instead of triggering events, there's a lot to enjoy. For bullet-junkies jonesing for a fix, it's a perfectly decent form of violent methadone. [Mar 2008, p.110]

    If you're a fan of Conflict and/or shooters in general, you're likely to find Denied Ops shallow and dull. The two-man control system doesn't work properly. The visuals are ugly. The script is sub-Armageddon. Yes, it's easy to pick up and play. But if you're after an experience with real challenge and depth, you won't want to.
