    Fácilmente entre los diez mejores shooters de todos los tiempos, Modern Warfare II es la culminación de un proceso muy largo que ha ido perfeccionándose entrega tras entrega, ni siquiera creo que su secuela esté a la altura. Es el mejor Call of Duty que se ha hecho.

    A very good FPS on CoD Modern Warfare Series its amazing of this is improved after a two decade,
    the gameplay is still good and its a classic nowdays the story isnt too bad and the multiplayer and PvE mode is still fantastic to play

    What can I say? They improved from one of the best FPS shooters to this. Amazing development. The story is much much better than Modern Warfare. Gunplay, music, sounds and graphics is still on the top.

    I did not play multiplayer of Modern Warfare so I can not compare them but Modern Warfare 2s multiplayer is on fire. Solid 9/10.

    DON'T listen to the user reviews. This game is absolutely incredible from the story to the multiplayer. This game is worth playing anytime. I'm sure that in 5 years this game will still be playable in the terms of graphics and story. I will still buy this game if i didn't have it already

    Great game in ‘09, great game now in ‘23. Still holds up graphically, and performance. This game catapulted activision and the well established call of duty series. Great story, set pieces, weapon variations and game mechanics. Challenging special ops mode and the legendary multiplayer which is still very playable 14 years later.

    Man, I wish I could've been there for the prime of the online multiplayer in this game. I only got to play a few matches. I played it a **** ton with my brother and his friend though. This game is my childhood. The story is great, the multiplayer is great, the gameplay feels so damn good (especially compared to the recent MW2, I hate it so much). The missions outside the story are fun. IMan, I wish I could've been there for the prime of the online multiplayer in this game. I only got to play a few matches. I played it a **** ton with my brother and his friend though. This game is my childhood. The story is great, the multiplayer is great, the gameplay feels so damn good (especially compared to the recent MW2, I hate it so much). The missions outside the story are fun.     People should stop comparing this to other games, great campaign that tests you on veteran along with a superb online that also does the same. If you are looking for a fun campaign this game is for you.

    The first real game that made me pick up a controller and never put it down again. Please help me it's still in my hands. But seriously, this game's campaign, multiplayer, and special ops were all a blast and are what made me who I am and I couldn't be happier.

    One of the greatest fps games I've ever played. The problem is that it's too short and the gameplay gets silly sometimes. It doesn't feel old and still one of the best stories I've ever seen in a fps game. If only it was maybe an hour longer.

    This is the best video game I have ever played. I simply have never had more fun with a video game than playing this game. The gun play is flawless. Feels amazing and the controls work great. The maps, customization, guns, game modes are just the best we have seen in a multiplayer shooter. The campaign and spec ops offers lots of additional content that makes up the best first personThis is the best video game I have ever played.     Me and my buddies played modern warfare 2 like crazy. The multiplayers 9 out of 10. Just didn't care for the campaign. There was no real story to the campaign and it just felt like one chaotic scene after another and it seems like that for most call of duty games. Just get from one end to the other and kill as many guys as you can.

    The spec ops mode is one of the most fun co op modes I ever played. The campaing is also very fun. The problem comes with mulitpayer. It was fun at realese but with hackers and players founding overpowerd mecahincs it is a mess now days.

    Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is one of the best call of duty games I've ever played and experienced. First of all, the campaign story and plot is well done and memorable with great twist and turns. The set pieces are quite a little bit too over-the-top action-film-esque with the firefight and the action-pieces but still very enjoyable and memorable. The multiplayer is very much top-notchCall Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is one of the best call of duty games I've ever played and experienced. First of all, the campaign story and plot is well done and memorable with great twist and turns. The set pieces are quite a little bit too over-the-top action-film-esque with the firefight and the action-pieces but still very enjoyable and memorable. The multiplayer is very much top-notch and has a huge selection of great maps, numerous fun and engaging modes, many assortment weapons, equipment, perks, emblems, and challenges for players to earn but it's far from perfect in terms of overall balancing (One man Army Noob Tube, Spas 12 Range, Model 1887 Pre-patch). Spec Ops is also introduced in modern warfare 2, making for a very enjoyable and good PVE experience in which 1-2 players play and complete challenging missions. I own both PS3 and PC Versions although I do wish they had put more PC-friendly features which were present in the 2 previous entries in the series (Cod 4 and World at War) such as a server browser (MW2 was the 1st cod on PC to only have matchmaking), Mod Support, Access to the in-game console commands, and more graphical and framerate options (the game is locked on 90 FPS on PC). In conclusion, It's a great game that could've had a little bit more polish and updates in terms of the overall game in the longrun so overall, 8/10 :)… Expand

    8/10 third best in the series behind W@W & Modern Warfare original. I think the multiplayer is second best overall behind W@W. A classic game that every FPS lover should play. I cant say that about the last 5 COD games with the Modern warfare 2020 exception; that’s a good single player story.

    MW2 continues the fantastic story of COD4 with Soap's, Price's, & Makarov's plans for world destruction with amazing levels & likable characters (Protagonists & Antagonists). Many emotional parts of the story make it a rollercoaster to get through.

    The Multiplayer maybe mixed among other players but it's completely hectic & rage-inducing which makes it good. The Gun selection is all    MW2 continues the fantastic story of COD4 with Soap's, Price's, & Makarov's plans for world destruction with amazing levels & likable characters (Protagonists & Antagonists). Many emotional parts of the story make it a rollercoaster to get through.

    The Multiplayer maybe mixed among other players but it's completely hectic & rage-inducing which makes it good. The Gun selection is all over the place because of the variety, even though most players you could encounter online are using ARs with Noobtubes resupplying with One Man Army or they could be using Akimbo Model 1887s. All the perks are great except Last Stand & Infinity Ward introduced us to Pro perks which can change the outcome of a battle. Not only that, Infinity Ward brought along Deathstreaks, Titles & Emblems, customizable killstreak sets with great selection, and so much more in the game...

    Its not my favorite COD game but it's worth a purchase for Game collectors and COD Fans everywhere!    … Expand

    CoD:MW2 is a game that is in a shadow of MW1. I´ve finished it just few days after finishing MW1 so i think i can compare them very well.

    Campaign was excelentelly written, but it was a little bit chaotic from the start. Makarov is a worthy villain. That Shepheard plot is just... idk. Level designs were good and enjoyable, but there are two parts which i hate to be honest. First is that    CoD:MW2 is a game that is in a shadow of MW1. I´ve finished it just few days after finishing MW1 so i think i can compare them very well.

    Campaign was excelentelly written, but it was a little bit chaotic from the start. Makarov is a worthy villain. That Shepheard plot is just... idk. Level designs were good and enjoyable, but there are two parts which i hate to be honest. First is that mission in USA, where you have to run from one fast food to another restaurant and then to another and again again and once again - AGAIN. That was really stupid. Second is final chasing of Shepheard on boats (this was just ridiculous, i would expect something like this in Uncharted series or some game like this, not CoD.)
    However other levels are awesome and i enjoyed them so much.

    But unfortunately, there are some small details which i didnt like. First is movement animation of dogs (cmon, there in no progress from MW1, its maybe even worse than it was in first game), then i asked myself several times how Russians get Famases (and lot of other west guns) as a main weapon ?

    In the end it was a decent game, completed in one afternoon. I´m going to put it on same level as Black Ops 1.

    Moder Warfare 2, tiene sin lugar a dudas una gran historia, el modo campaña es de lo mejor de esta saga. Y el modo multiplayer es satisfactorio teniendo también pantalla dividida para dos jugadores en versus, también tiene una gran variedad de armas las cuales podremos personalizar para adaptarlas según nos parezca y el online siempre es divertido.

    Very good graphics for a ps3 game, varied missions in the campaign, which is short (a bit more than 5 hours), although campaigns tend to be short in this kind of games. Very intense missions and gameplay. The plot maybe it's not vital in this genre but I have no complaints about the story in this Call of Duty.

Modern Warfare 2's campaign is by far the best in the franchise. While it's missions are arguably more linear and not as ground breaking as the first, it still feels like a true Call of DutyModern Warfare 2 is a fantastic example of a sequel done better than the original. With a more compelling, thought provoking, and action packed story, memorable characters, and better set pieces. Modern Warfare 2's campaign is by far the best in the franchise. While it's missions are arguably more linear and not as ground breaking as the first, it still feels like a true Call of Duty experience. Multiplayer seems to be more chaotic and level based this time around. Unlike the previous Multiplayer installments, this is going to be one where the community either loves it or hates it. For casual players it may be a bit of a struggle, but for competitive players it will be a blast. The Spec Ops Missions, while not nearly as great as Zombies, are still very fun to play.     Along with Halo 3, this was one of my first addictive shooter games. Definitely the peak of the Cod franchise. Had arguably the best campaign of Cod games, along with a very fun multiplayer experience that couldnt be matched by any game except for Halo 3. If only Cod could go back to these days.

    Simply the best call of duty game that has ever been made. The campaign, thrilling. Multiplayer? Amazing. Iconic maps such as rust and estate? So much fun. If activision had half a brain they would remaster this game as a whole and not just the campaign mode and I felt they really only wanted to remaster half of it to save money, they should remaster the multiplayer.

    I'm not a big fan of the multiplayer in this franchise -- it's great in whichever game you first try it, but but is all rather samey throughout the series. It didn't feel like missing out due to the satisfactory experience of the main game anyway. This game and Black Ops 1 were the last COD's to have people actually run around and use tactics rather than everyone playing the same. MW2 was just so addicting to a T, extremely fun to play, and had a great story, maps, gameplay, and SO much more. 10/10 every other opinion is invalid at this point. Hopefully in the remaster you skilless hacks wont ruin another classic like you did to COD4 Remastered.… Expand

    The new feature that was Spec Ops was fenomenal; a lot of fun for challenging missions, and even more if you play with a friend.

    This series was excellent and well done. The first was great, and 2 surpassed it. They added new content and challenges that kept me trying to perfect the same missions I have played over and over again for over 2 years. I would buy this game again, if I only had a second system to play it on (it is that good).

Modern Warfare 2 follows from the events of Modern Warfare 1 which puts you back on the American and British side to fight the second Soviet Russia and the main villain Vladimir Makarov, only then to be thrown into the enemy frontline seeing armies rise and cities fall. The campaign once again nails the balance of brilliant story telling and amazing gameplay, making us fall for our brothers in arms and save our dying world at the same time.     after 5 years this game is still blows my mind. mw2 is fantasic, amazing cod ever made! sure mulitplayer is now broken because of one man army noob tubes. scavger makes more noob tubes, hackers and modders to danger close to commando. i hope infinty ward remaster this game for next gen consles! if not iw is dead to me.

    In my opinion, the last GREAT Call of Duty game. Campaign was on the short side but it was still good. But Multiplayer is still hell of fun, I still pick up this game from time to time. Spec Ops missions are fun but I highly recommend doing it with a friend.

    A día de hoy para mi es el mejor COD. Tiene la campaña que mas me gusta de la saga, breve como de costumbre pero muy muy intensa, un modo coop. con misiones correcto y un multijugador genial. Si no fuera por los hackers que hay hoy en día lo jugaría con mas regularidad, pero aun así no puedes poner una nota baja por eso, el juego en sí es muy bueno.Un shooter adictivo como pocos.

I don't why but for some reason, online feels better here than in MW3. As for single-player, the plot was just riddled with movie-references. It also suffers plot-holes. Hell I even rage sometimes but games like this starting out really give you thick skin, so your able to withstand future Again the hackers in this game.. ruin the fun of it all. frame lag and all that gets a little crazy when a lot is going on but whatever.     Modern Warfare 2 introduces several new features, not seen in Call of Duty, aside from new weapons, equipment and perks that upgrade to "pro versions" after meeting utilization requirements. If you're really good, you can get a nuke (25 killstreak) and the person who use it will win for the player, him or herself, or the team no matter who's winning.

    Host migration is a bit annoying, since the host likes to rage quit, but it lets you continue on with the game instead of going back to the lobby, where you would lose your victory points and extra exp if you were about to win.

    Third person is an option in selected game types and there are new game types as well as the return of Team Deathmatch, Search & Destroy etc. Trophies/achievements is very easy so this game is a good collection for you trophy/achievement whores as there are no multiplayer achievements, though you would need two players for some.

    Special Ops has a variety of mini missions from snowmobile race to eliminating enemies. Special Ops is great if you need a change from multiplayer. Graphics isn't the best but it runs consistently at 60 FPS on console. Consistent frame rate is required for competitive play rather than graphics that makes you go "wow" and there are loads of better looking games out there, such as Uncharted as well as Final Fantasy.

    People like to annoy you online, doesn't make the game itself bad. If you run into some annoying c**t, just mute him. Simple! People b***hing about trickshotters. So what? They get killed more than they kill anyway. Again, doesn't make the game bad. It's how the player chooses to play. Killstreaks isn't consistent but it's how the franchise evolves. It's one of the best shooters out today so if you haven't played it, you're missing out.    … Expand

    For me Call of duty had never been about the online multiplayers as i seen many battlefield fans just putting crap on it. but sure the game is hardly refreshed it does bring a much better story line. The story line really gets you in as you want to finish it. Playing split screen was the obvious reason i at time prefer cod over other shooters.

What broke the fun of this games multiplayer was the community. Yer maybe IW could have foreseen the problems that would come up but it is just people using boring and irritating tactics to ruin games that screwed up the fun.

    of all the call of duty games that ive played this games beats all (including both black ops games, modern warfare 3, world at war, and cod 4). this game is a MUST buy for call of duty fans. I give this game a 9 because of how the PSN servers are and have been down for about 1 and a half years. Otherwise this is my fav game of all time

It's fun (if you don't take it too seriously) and even if you're not a gamer who plays shooters - you still will spend a lot of time with this title online. Plus it has nice co-op content. Single-player is ok but this game is all about online fun. Many strategies, funny moments and tight clashes. It's a game of LUCK and SKILL which is the best combination to make most of players feel good. The only weak point is if you take it too seriously. For competetive hardcore players I admit this has things that will not appeal all the time. But a small amount of luck/random makes everything (wins etc.) much more enjoyable because everyone can win sometimes.… Expand

    This game will forever be the pinnacle of the CoD franchise (including the original Modern Warfare). I love this game and played it far beyond it's release date. The only reason that most of us don't play it anymore is because of the hackers that UAV themselves into an orgasm. A sad end to a great game.
