I could argue that this might of been even better than my favorite game, Bioshock Infinite, but the only issue with me is that you had no companion, and that pretty much enhanced Infinite for me. DLC has good set pieces and ends the amazing story of Bioshock Infinite, while connecting it to Bioshock 1. It's longer than Episode 1, and doesn't drag on, the entire time you are playing it, you are doing something or seeing something interesting, even if there are a few too many fest quests. I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone who likes the Bioshock series. Expand

Excellent conclusion to the franchise (as far as I'm concerned). Also, the change in pace and the stealth action makes this entry stand out and encourage taking in the scenery. On top of that, the story is engaging and ties up some loose ends along the way. Definitely worth checking out.

A beautiful piece of art. This game puts all of the Bioshocks together in a perfect way. A way I never expected. This shows what a piece of DLC should be like. This is what an ending to a series should be like. This shows what game are able to accomplish. This is simply perfect.

While the first episode was terribly paced and felt rushed, this episode took it down a tone and introduced stealth, which is one of the best parts of this episode. The only complaint I have of this episode is the story, but even my problem wasn't major.

Surprisingly, stealth feels great in Bioshock. While most gamers are used to the high paced battles in Bioshock Infinite and Episode One, this episode feels more calm and very welcoming to anyone not familiar with the stealth genre. The graphics are great as usual and the story of Elizabeth now being played by you and Booker talking to you through the voice recorder is a great change.

However, the story gets very complicated at times and can be a bit overwhelming if you're not paying attention.

About the ending, I think that it is fine and closes the Bioshock Infinite timeline well.

Overall, Burial at Sea Episode Two is a HUGE improvement over the first and is a great closure to the Infinite series.

Towards the end of this DLC I started fangirling like crazy. My jaw was constantly hitting flaw and I kept pressing pause just so I could ...take in what just happened. The price while steep is worth it for the fan experience. Episode 2 is much longer than episode 1. Elizabeth heels click as she walks. What a gorgeous character. Anyway I enjoyed this much! Want to play it again and again. Going back to Rapture is always fun. I love this place...just a smidgen more than Columbia! And I am OBSESSED with Columbia. Expand

I know i'm bucking the trend here, but I found Episode 2 less enjoyable than Episode 1. Obviously with a character like Elizabeth you cant really be running-and-gunning but I found the overuse of stealth to be frustrating at times. I would have preferred if the game focused more on puzzle solving, storytelling and the occasional stealth segment than constantly having to sneak through rooms of 15 splicers who are ultra-alert to your every footstep. But thats just me. Just be prepared to stay low and slowly sneak your way through this 3hr story DLC. Expand

I'If you're a fan of the franchise, buy Burial at Sea. The gameplay is far more akin to that of Bioshock than that of Bioshock Infinite, and everything is wrapped up beautifully on the narrative front.
This really ties the series together as a whole and ties absolutely everything together. Bioshock Infinite's story came full circle, but Burial at Sea's story makes that satisfying

Characters are given closure and Rapture's story is brought to satisfying end.

For instance Daisy Fitzroy in the main game was a radical psychotic killer who wanted Booker dead simply because it ruined her rebellion narrative and tried to murder a child out of revenge. But that apparently had to be fixed case you an't have a BLACK Woman as a protagonist.

Now Daisy Fitzroy was only "pretending" to kill the child to get Elizabeth to murder her because that will make her a Woman somehow.......... WTF made no rational sense and an obvious SJW recon because reasons

Why did they let Liz die. It doesn’t make any sense. Oh I don’t like the story in the dlc.

Out of both dlcs chapter 2 is by far the best one and the story is very very good for me even rivals and surprases the main story one.

A good game, but one that feels a bit emotionally bankrupt after the wonders of Infinite and the original BioShock. [Issue#243, p.56]

If you are even a mild fan of Bioshock then you should definitely play this expansion, it is single player greatness that redeems the former episode.
