    I wasted my childhood on this game, it's still worth buying a PS2 for now so back then it was phenomenal it's probably one of the best games I've played. Forget the Simpsons game that linear crap was worthless but this game is something else! Remember this is coming from one of the biggest Simpsons fans ever!

    Great fun, 10/10 for effort and consistency to the show. 7/10 for gameplay. Does get repetitive after Homers first level. Lacks violence, death and blood - I want to shoot Apu in a robbery : )

    Being a Simpsons fan, it was great just being to walk around Springfield. Unfortunately the novelty didn't last forever as the missions became repetitive.

    Great game...played it with my friends..i found the game hilarious especially homer...if only i could find the last 6 cards i need..

    Aesthetically pleasing, humorous and fun at first...but beyond that (and Homer's first level) the game falls apart. After going through 3 small maps, the game becomes dull and repetative with all of the 7 levels of the game reusing one of those 3 maps. I suggest renting this one first to avoid the mistake I made of buying it. Or if you don't mind a game with no 'meat' Aesthetically pleasing, humorous and fun at first...but beyond that (and Homer's first level) the game falls apart.     I bought this game the first day it came out and I have to say, I'm impressed. Some of the other Simpsons games sucked, but this one is awesome!!! The missions are grest and THE GAME IS HILARIOUS. You won't want to stop playing it. *HINT*: Don't skip the guide that Bart does...it is so funny. ...Now if we could just pretend The Simpsons Skateboarding never happened...

    This is actually a very addicting game and is one of the best simpsons games put together. I think its a little overrated but i thought it was lots of fun myself...but then again im a huge simpsons fan.

    Playing this game years after it was released and I still really enjoyed it, almost as much as I did when I was a kid.

    I still love driving around Springfield and exploring every little nook and cranny. The game isn't perfect, driving the cars can be a little difficult sometimes (depending on what car you're using) but it has a real charm that a lot of old games have.     Hit & Run truly captured the magic of the Simpsons atmosphere. Whilst it's driving gameplay was enjoyable, it was the vibrant settings and way the Springfield populous was represented that makes this game a hit.

    This game is cool. Homer is fat and he likes donuts.U should b able to kill people with a gun and u should b able to use da whole family in simpsons at one same time. But its still da best game ever i guess.

    This game is fantastic definetly the best simpsons game out there i havent tried the new one yet but im sure that is good also but this game is garunteed to keep the gamers entertained for a long while.

    Fun, funny, charming, excellent controls, open world goodness, aesthetically pleasing, challenging enough. The best Simpsons video game ever and a good alternative for children if you think the GTA games are too violent, which they are (for kids, anyway).

    As a hardcore Simpsons, I was a bit disappointed. At first it was really fun, but got kind of repetitive. It lacked some of the charmed that Road Rage had. There are a bunch of things to find, like cars and outfits, but most of these are superfluous. It's good for a rent if you're a Simpsons fan, but I wouldn't buy it unless you completely love it.

    I cannot believe how excited about this game I am. I have been studying it for the past couple months and I canot await the release date in two days! I was scheduled to get it last week, but they pushed the date back 1 more week. So now I am excited beyond belief!

    This game in my veiw is the best i am not into game consols but when i play thi game it feels good the graphics are ok even though some of the characters do not look any thing alike eg. lisa simpson.

    For a Simpsons game, it wasn't half bad. Pretty repetitive, but to be honest I just loved racing around Springfield. The game just has so much detail and references that it'll put a smile on any fan's face. Overall: An OK game that could have used a bit more variety in its gameplay.

    If you need a GTA-like game that's still subversive enough to keep you engaged but can be played in front of kids, this is your game. Voice acting by the original cast, consistent laughs, and fun gameplay.

    Fun, what is the world, the content , the colorful graphics makes hit and run a fun game form the beginning to the end. Just like the show , every set piece of laugh out loud is here, it reminds in watching a episode of the series.

    I first experienced this game the first time around at the age of 12 and thought it was the best game ever. Obviously times change and so does taste but this game holds its piece it has great game play missions characters its GTA with the simpsons what is not to love this game is amazing

    "The Simpsons: Hit and Run" was one of my classic childhood games. The novelty of being able to drive around in Springfield and explore the world was always so fun, and I always loved the game for that alone. That said, as a kid, I never tried to beat the game, so I decided to go back and actually play the story of what is often considered one of the best licensed games of all time. Well, short answer, no. Granted, it wasn't bad, but I would honestly go as far as to call the game "overrated."
    "The Simpsons: Hit and Run," like many of the best licensed games out there, captures the feel of the TV show well. Springfield is large and expansive without feeling overwhelming, and the world has been recreated so wonderfully that it's just a joy driving around and exploring. Furthermore, the voice acting and comedy from the show is still top-notch, the writing is sharp, and the storyline is great. Visually, the game also holds up relatively well to this day, the controls are not bad, and the game itself can be extremely fun.
    Well...most of the game, at least. The first three worlds utilize different areas of Springfield, but after that, the latter four reuse those same areas without changing too much, and because of that, the novelty of exploring Springfield does start to wear thin. Along with that, once you get to around the fourth or fifth level, you really start noticing how annoyingly repetitive the mission structure is, as all of the missions revolve around destroying another vehicle, racing another vehicle, or driving your vehicle to another location in a certain amount of time. I was also disappointed that, despite the fact that there are some minor platforming sections in the game, "Hit and Run" seems fairly content to throw a bunch of driving missions at you and it under-utilizes the platforming elements. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like having more platforming sections could've added some great variety to the game.
    All in all, "The Simpsons: Hit and Run" is a decent little game, nothing great, nothing terrible. It's a solid little game if you can find it for a good price, but I wouldn't go as far as to call it one of the best licensed games of all time. Hardcore "Simpsons" fans will definitely want to give it a shot, but don't go in expecting an absolutely perfect game.

    De lo más divertido de Playstation 2, un juego original, con un gran abanico de posibilidades y ambientado en el mundo de la familia más conocida de la historia. Las misiones mezclan conducción y plataformas. Si eres fan de la serie es muy recomendado ya que hay bastantes referencias a ésta y es de agradecer que las voces sean las mismas.

    This was my favourite game as a child kinda like GTA without the blood and violence, strippers and prostitutes, so in a way not like GTA anyway a brilliant game and something that made my childhood.

I realized that whilst the first three levels are unique because they are different towns and quests, the rest of them just feel the same.     This may have been a GTA clone, but it's a good one. I like the graphics and the open world of Springfield. Who doesn't love this game?
    At least it beats all the other Simpsons games

The game is riddled with easter eggs from the show. You'll collect coins throughout the game to purchase new cars and outfits. The graphics still hold up today in my opinion, looks like you're controlling the Simpsons and not blocky knock offs. The controls are solid for the most part but certain vehicles can be a **** to control. The sound design is good, the music doesn't get annoying over time like in the Simpsons Road Rage mainly because they don't play it nonstop. Each level is designed pretty ok, you get the Springfield vibe. If you're looking for a GTA like experience with the Simpsons this is a pretty good choice. Aside from the missions there's lots of collectibles to look out for. If you're looking to add another game to your collection, you'll get alot of enjoyment out of this game.… Expand

    I don`t care if this game is a GTA clone it is amazing. So many hours of many childhood got put into this game and i don`t regret it at all. When a game from 2003 is better than most AAA games available in 2016 you know that you did a good job. If you have not played this game then get out your dusty PS2 and buy it. You will not regret it.

    This game reminds of the good old days of the PS2. Being a huge Simpsons fan, this game failed to disappoint. Good gameplay, great story, plus a ton of things to do! Never gets repetitive and I've never got bored of it. The Simpson's games may be known for being bad but this is definitely an exception.

    El GTA de los simpson. Muy divertido, con una cantidad brutal de contenido. Muchas misiones variadas y divertidas. Una joya de play station 2, sin duda si te gustan os simpson o simplemente los videojuegos, tienes que comprarlo, jugarlo, y acabarlo (te costará).

    Beat this game first time in 2004, and now after finishing it in 2018 i had same great experience.Despite some in game glitches it is fun even sometimes challenging game.
    Characters are recreated very well ,and soundtrack of the game is a big plus.

    Lo unico malo de este juego (en mi opinion) es que no tiene tanta dificultad, siempre te pasas las misiones maximo en 3 intentos si la mision es muy "dificil".

    El resto de el juego es perfecto.

Thats why most of the missions you have to do 10 times until you beat them.     If you just want to run around, it is possible, but there are few things to do: kick people, finde some hidden stuff, nothing else. The missions are in one order, only extra missions and some races are the exeption which you can choose when to do.
    That's why, the game felt very unsatisfing for me at first, despite it's nice graphics, open world, funny comments and many details. But it became better by getting a little bit better, beeing able to complete at least every second mission and having some fun platform parts and some nice characters and jokes in the game. If you can get over the frustration and enjoy the simpsons a lot, then there is quite some fun hidden in this game.    … Expand

    Uno de los mejores juegos de la ps2, de la historia, de Los Simpsons y de mi infancia. Me lo habre pasado tantas veces que ni me acuerdo, es tan divertido y no se queda corto en contenido. Es un juego que marcó la infancia de muchos.

    This game is a blast and holds up very well for the most part. But holy hell did I forget how obnoxious the mission structure in this game was. Lost of sameness, frustrating AI. The game does get repetitive and a bit dull down the stretch. Still enjoyed going back to this game, though. Would love a remaster of this one day.

    This game was my childhood. The fact that it hasn't received a remaster/remake and/or a sequel yet is criminal. If you haven't tried this game yet and are a fan of The Simpsons, what are you waiting for? This game is easily the best Simpsons game currently on the market and will keep you entertained for hours. Highly recommend.

    Los Simpsons es para mí una de las mejores series que haya visto, desde la T1 hasta la T12 se mantuvo bastante fresca e ingeniosa. Bien es cierto que desde la T1 hasta la T8 es prácticamente su era dorada, con sus excepciones puntuales, a partir de la T9 empezó el declive que aumentaría lenta y progresivamente hasta la actualidad.     Bien es cierto que desde la T1 hasta la T8 es prácticamente su era dorada, con sus excepciones puntuales, a partir de la T9 empezó el declive que aumentaría lenta y progresivamente hasta la actualidad. Quizás era ya la era plateada o incluso la de bronce.

    También hay que tener en cuenta que muchos de sus creadores originales abandonaron el proyecto, que este proyecto ha tomado otro rumbo, otra dirección, etc. y que el público actual ya no es el de los 90. Que mantener ideas innovadoras eternamente es imposible. Y los estándares culturales han avanzado y evolucionado, y por consecuencia la desesperación de modernizarse para agradar a generaciones actuales es irremediablemente inevitable.

    Pero vamos que Los Simpsons están aburguesados no, lo siguiente, más en manos de Disney, Los Simpsons ya no es ni un cuarto de lo que fue. Genuinamente hablando es autentica basura ponzoñosa a día de hoy. Un diamante en bruto que dejo de brillar hace décadas y que se niega a aceptar su destino de descansar en paz y ser recordado como uno de los mejores shows televisivos que hayan existido en nuestro medio.

    Fun missions, hilarious dialogue, tons of collectibles, giant maps, cheat codes... There's not much else you can ask for. If you still have a working PS2 lying around, definitely give this game a try.

    One of the best games I ever played. Maybe a little late, 20 years, u know. The game is litteraly GTA with Simpsons, and who wouldn't play that!

    Thoroughly entertaining game, especially for a simpsons fan. Good story, awesome that you could use different characters and cars and the variety in missions was great. A lot of fun, a great game.
