As with buying any game meant for consoles a generation ahead, "The Incredible Hulk" is a lackluster experience. While it is fun to smash NY for the first hour, there is little replayability and the levels are boring. For a more fleshed out experience, try "Ultimate Destruction" which excels on PS2.

At first, the game seems interesting as initially there is a wide variety of levels. However, after going past the first 5-10 missions, they start repeating themselves, exposing the devs' lack of creativity and desire for innovation.

if there is one thing that this game is destressing because the gameplay is addictive but i give it 7 because every minute the screen freezes as if play 2 does not have the capacity to process the game!
Playing it on controller is perfect

  1. While annoying, the lock-ups don't really do much to dampen how outlandishly fun the game is. If you like the Hulk and you enjoying destroying things, you'll enjoy your time with The Incredible Hulk, even if you have to reset the system from time to time.

"Ultimate Destruction" was on the PS2 as well, but it still had a beautifully rendered, detailed city that was fully visible from any rooftop -- and a blast to wreak havoc on. Instead of building on that better game, though, Incredible Hulk is a weak attempt at mimicking it.
  3. You won't like it when this simplistic, repetitive, and occasionally broken game makes you angry.
