NateA.Aug 8, 2005This looks like the best game in the world.the first hulk for ps2 sucked.in that game you couldn't jump good at all.you were'nt that strong.and it was so stupid playing as banner.but in this game you can leap so far, destroy anything and in this game you get to be the hulk the whole game.

Deepak.BOct 22, 2005this game gives you the feel of the hulk. the destruction is the best the number of moves you can do are soooooooo cool but the only problem in it is the graphics not to good.

sjohnsonAug 28, 2005Way better than previous Hulk game for Gamecube. No frame rate drop so far. Game play is superior to Spiderman 2 (less repetitious). Everyone has been fighting over a chance to play it. Too much fun!

[Anonymous]Sep 11, 2005This is the best superhero game yet, but is kinda hard. but when Ultimate Spider-Man comes out, this is the best. that means it has a week.

ConnerM.Nov 7, 2005this is like burnout with weapons, is fast explosive, you just destroy don´t think much jus kick a**, it looses a point cause of is to short everything else rocks, captures the spirit of the hulk...play it true believers.

Oct 13, 2013this is the best hulk/marvel game for its time even for now and really you WILL NOT find a hulk game like this, its surely one of the best comic book games
-
Mar 27, 2014Fun sandbox mayhem. One of the best open world games and one of the best superhero games ever made at the time of its release. It's kinda like Crackdown, which improved on this game in nearly every way possible. Of course since Ultimate Destruction came first, it's the daddy of Prototype & Crackdown -esque titles.

Jun 17, 2022this game is not worth 10 because there is no way to destroy the buildings and the loading takes a long time.
Some parts are hard and you die easily. -
Jun 12, 2022"It's one game that's worth the price of admission. Not only is it a great action title, it may very well be the best superhero game for current-gen consoles."

#56 Most Discussed PS2 Game of 2005

Hulk isn't quite the stellar action vehicle it could've been, but it's got more than enough solid fun to justify a purchase. If cathartic obliteration is up your alley, you'll find plenty to enjoy in Ultimate Destruction.
-
Simply smashing... Hulk is easily one of the best superhero games, mainly because it feels like Radical took the subject seriously, rather than treating the game just like another licensed title. [Sept 2005, p.88]
-
Electronic Gaming MonthlyQuite possibly the best superhero game to date. A slow start soon gives way to "God of War" intensity that takes of and never looks back. [Sept 2005, p.108]
