Apr 29, 2020The game definitely isn't perfect but I actually had a good time with it. It's very simplistic and the single stick controls took a min to get used to but it didn't give me much trouble. I'm not the target audience but that in mind I enjoyed it.

As far as Tak games are concerned, Tak and the Guardians of Gross for the PS2 is the weakest entry in the series and a flawed platform game even younger gamers will find disappointing. This is really too bad seeing that the game does try to mix up the platform action. It just goes about it in a dated fashion that just doesn’t work for the character.

Basically, the newest Tak entry is a substandard platforming/brawler hybrid that just doesn't manage to do anything for me.

The humor is spot on and manages to set the game apart from the myriad of similar titles on the market, enough so that you may even forgive some its obvious flaws.
