TayjamJ.Jun 4, 2002This game doesn't exactly stack up there with the Final Fantasy series, but for a game available at the systems release. This is pretty much what all new system games should shoot for. The graphics arent great and the loading times are relly long, but the gameplay and storyline is wonderful. This is a great game.

Link3000Jun 5, 2002Interesting attack system makes fight monsters alot more challenging then in other RPG's. The storyline and plot are also very well done. It would be a 10, but they did a little too much draw in on the graphics and some of the towns are huge and may overwhelm the user at first.

GeorgeS.Feb 21, 2003I bought this game for £15.00 and it is the worst game I have ever played on any sort of game system:it is slow,it is boring, it has no good fighting movesand it has terrible graphics.

JackIntheBoxAug 17, 2001This is a pretty good RPG. The gameplay is great, controls are good. A good game overall, but... The graphics are not so great, the pop-up is really annoying and ugly. And the loading times... They are really long.

An extremely ambitious game, but it misses the mark due to unoriginality and subpar presentation.
-
It is a huge game with a fairly engrossing story, but thanks in part to a few design flaws, it's hard to keep playing all the way to the end.

While a bit short of greatness, Summoner is an admirable role-playing game experience that is more than one could have ever really hoped for in an RPG that's available at a new system's launch.
