TishaC.Sep 23, 2006This game is wonderful! It is like getting at least 3 games in one and well worth it for anyone who grew up playing these games when they were new and for anyone who is simply playing for the first time!

JiZamesJun 25, 2004Hyper SF2 already got good reviews and you CAN'T mess with the fighter that started it all...and now they're adding SF3: 3rd Strike to the bag?? This is without a doubt, the greatest anniversary collection ever created in video game history. 3rd Strike will always remain unmatched in terms of being the best 2D fighter ever created and the most stable. Capcom finally did something right.

OzH.Aug 19, 2007The best part about this game is the fact that you can beat it on the easiest level and still get the character's ending. Nothing much has actually been done to improve the game. Didn't love 'Third Strike' as much the classic is still the best.

For the casual player, this is archaic stuff that’ll provide about an hour of nostalgic fun.

Official U.S. Playstation MagazineIt's really fun to have one version of a character go up against another version of the same character to see who's better. [Sept 2004, p.92]

If you don't mind waiting, the Xbox version of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection will arrive in early 2005 and will feature online play. That alone makes the Xbox version seem far superior but for those of you that just can't wait, this game is easily worth the money.
