    Great game. The story is decent. The scoring is great, visual is really amazing, the voice & sound is also amazing

    I don’t care if it’s nostalgia or not this is a great game. Just like GTA III this game set the stage for future games. The swinging is so fun. I caught myself just swinging around the open world for like 30 minutes. Most people take this game too seriously. Yes the voice acting is bad , especially Toby Maguire’s performance. But honestly this game is kinda funny. The ragdoll physics mixedI don’t care if it’s nostalgia or not this is a great game. Just like GTA III this game set the stage for future games. The swinging is so fun. I caught myself just swinging around the open world for like 30 minutes. Most people take this game too seriously. Yes the voice acting is bad , especially Toby Maguire’s performance. But honestly this game is kinda funny. The ragdoll physics mixed with the voice acting can be really funny at times. If you watch that last couple of cutscenes you would know what mean. I grew up with this game. I used to play it with my brothers almost everyday. The game just puts me in a good mood.     A hugely fun game that has plenty of things to see, places to go, items to collect and people to save. Web swinging is exhilarating if a little irritating at times. Combat is frantic and fast, with numerous moves and combos available. The game expands on the movie by adding new storylines and characters (Black Cat, Shocker, Mysterio etc). Spierman 2 is a great take on the open-worldA hugely fun game that has plenty of things to see, places to go, items to collect and people to save.     Although The Graphics Have Aged Like Milk. The Fun Web Swinging, Good Soundtrack, Fun Side Missions And Some Ok CG Cutscenes, Spider-Man 2 On The PS2 Is Spectacular. But Its Missing Some Things That Keep It From Perfect. There Are Not Unlockable Suits .No Collectables Other Than Weird Badges For Going On Top Of Buildings. And The Civilians Don't Shut Up And They Can Be Annoying Over TimeAlthough The Graphics Have Aged Like Milk. The Fun Web Swinging, Good Soundtrack, Fun Side Missions And Some Ok CG Cutscenes, Spider-Man 2 On The PS2 Is Spectacular. But Its Missing Some Things That Keep It From Perfect.     Одна из лучших игр про паука. Сюжет дополняющий оригинальных фильм, разнообразные дополнительные активности. И даже гонки в данной игре очень интересные и как никак появляется желание их пройти. А арена с кучей врагов - отдельный шедевр, именно на ней боёвка второго паука раскрывается на все 100%.Одна из лучших игр про паука.     This game holds a special place in my heart. It was the first, imo, truly great superhero game, and it remained one of the GOATs for the better part of two decades which is pretty insane. It hasn't aged well considering how fantastic of a job Insomniac has done with the new Spider-Man games, but for it's time? This game was a masterpiece and one of my favorites ever.

    The only good thing about this game are the fights and the physics of the dolls because the graphics are horrible and the gameplay is too

    simplesmente muito bom, um dos melhores jogos do homem aranha, os graficos para um ps2 são excelentes, o web swing é complicado mas dá pra se acostumar

    Bom Webswing, ajudar os pedestres nas ruas é ótimo, porém algumas missões são difíceis ao ridículo e há bugs que atrapalham bastante no combate, principalmente se tratando do lock-on nos inimigos. No geral, jogo bom mas não é o melhor.

    Spider-man 2 one of the best combat Spidey games ever made next to Web of Shadows. You get a slow down time special i.e. your spidey reflexes and you get a ton of moves and the story is awesome. Love this game and will beat it many more times.

    Graphics and sound aren't anything special in regards to this console generation. The overall presentation does nothing to uphold the story and dialogue that is pretty lack lustre. There is some original material in here, but for the most part, just follows the movie. However, where all the praise is directed is the game-play, the web swinging in particular. Look, the overall game really is nothing special compared to most action/adventure titles. Even the controls are clunky enough to be coupled with other 'B-list' titles from the PS2 era. But yes, the web swinging would have no doubt been exceptional for the time, really giving a player the sense they are Spiderman.

    Unfortunately, the overall package is very much a product of its time, qualifying as an 'ok' experience. Very hard pill to swallow if you have played Spiderman PS4. However, might be worth picking up if you are a massive Spidey fan as it is satisfying to swing around New York in a different era of gaming.    … Expand

    One of the best Spiderman games for sure, an open world videogame based on the sequel Spiderman 2 with Doctor Octopus as the main villain, incredible game.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game truly is fantastic fun! Back in the day of 2004, the golden age of gaming and gaming alike the "open-world." swinging around the city, beating the **** out of thugs and pizza time, & being able to laugh at Bruce Campbell's Dialogue. Makes this game a genuine 2004, a classic on the PlayStation 2 Nintendo GameCube & Original Xbox. :)

    Still, the story does at times, have its points of Spider-Man trying to keep his identity hidden from Harry Osborne, who believes Spider-Man killed his dad but honestly his dad killed himself: Spoiler Alert: ending Peter kisses Mary Jane-Watson and date's "the girl next door the girl I loved. Because love is tricky when you live your life behind a mask, fate handed me incredible powers; still, there's only one Spider-Man."

    Overall, five stars, no questions asked, and I couldn't have done better myself and never could you! The year 2004 is the best, and I wish we could have more the best years like it. 10/10 year! :P That one reviewer GenuineBruv2021 suck's hairy balls etc.    … Expand

    Very nice swinging though the city, good motivating upgrade system, good side- and good main missions. But there is a small and a big downside: You can choose the side missions, but you get to know it only if you already have chosen it. And: The boss in the game show is so hard to kill, I got stuck.

    Big shoutout to Tobey Maguire for giving so much life and soul to Peter Parker. I can't imagine anyone else doing so well like he did.

    Spider Man is one of those heroes that you love not just because of his superhuman abilities, but because Peter Parker is such a relatable character.

    This game I played it back when I was in middle school and it was a blast to beat, of course in 2019 the graphics don't really stand up to today but it was super fun beating up the shet out of thugs and the combos you could make were unreal and awesome to pull off! With Spider-Man ps4 doing justice for what Spider-man 2 was and improving this game is a legend to remember and praise. GG

    I'm so tired of people kissing Spider-Man 2's backside, as it really isn't anything to write home about. Let me elaborate, the controls are some of the worst I've ever seen in any game, the story isn't special at all with average voice acting, and average looking character models. Everyone praises the web swinging when in actuality its very frustrating to get around the city. You are forced to collect a certain amount of "Hero Points" to progress through the story which wouldn't be that bad if you didn't have to collect 2000 - 4000 of them each chapter. Combat is average at best and extremely frustrating at worst. Overall Spider-Man 2 for the PS2 is a below average game. I don't recommend it at all.… Expand

    Spider-man 2 is great! The web swinging physics are superb. The story is great as well. But it just gets a bit repetitive with the hero point missions.
