Cheat Code CentralAll of the games are arcade simple and relatively easy to play and master. Not all of them are a hoot however. "Crazy Taxi," which is a classic Dreamcast game is nothing but filler in this collection.
-
An interesting experiment that works well in some situations and grinds to a halt in others. While this would be a disaster for a full-priced game, the $30 tag softens the impact somewhat.

GMR MagazineWhy waste money on Superstars when you can buy any number of hallucination-inducing substances to get your friends swatting at the air for a fraction of the price? [Feb 2005, p.94]

The camera simply cannot detect movements accurately enough to make replaying games for a high score a viable option, since you’ll often not get credit for things you did correctly.

The quality is uneven and there are no multiplayer tournament modes, but youngsters and Sega devotees will have great fun, particularly with the music games.

Edge MagazineThe complaints that can be levelled at Superstars are real, but so is the magic it contains. When it works, Monkey Ball truly feels like you’re tilting the land, not moving the ball. When it works, Nights makes you think you can fly. [Dec 2005, p.112]
-
It doesn't reinvent the EyeToy genre, and some of the games lose their appeal quickly or feel a bit too familiar, but the healthy number of minigames included in the package makes it one of best values out there for EyeToy owners.
-
Electronic Gaming MonthlyIt's the kind of game you'd make your mom play to show her that not all videogames involve stabbing hookers. [Jan 2005, p.135]
-
The overwhelming majority of the games are over too quickly, making it a great party game but not something solo players will necessarily be returning to early and often. That said, it’s easily the best EyeToy disc released to date.
-
It's just too bad that by putting in just a little effort pretty much everyone should be able to get through the game without much difficulty at all.
-
TotalGames.netIt's all a bit like typing while wearing oven mitts.
