Play MagazineSamurai Shodown Anthology is a technically sound collection of the best, and worst, moments of the main Samurai Shodown franchise titles. At less than $20, even if it all of its included titles don't excite you, you should find more than enough here to make the purchase worthwhile.

For only $20, Samurai Showdown is packing quite a lot of classic 2D fighting into one package, which I always appreciate. But the super fuzzy sprites just don't look as nice anymore, especially in Samurai Showdown VI when they sit on the title's surprisingly slick backgrounds.

Those who have been longing to complete their Samurai Shodown collection and its cast of legendary characters should pick this one up.
