    It´s a great motorcycle game but although they said it would be playable online, there IS NO ONLINE MODE! That sucks!

    Awesome game, very realistic. The tracks are superb reproducted (I'm from Brazil and scared how they made incredible reproduction from the Nelson Piquet track). The gameplay mechanics are very good and enjoyable without any piece of slowdown (runs smootly at 30fps) the graphics are nice and much better than lot of racing games for PS2 (for example, that EA NFS last ports). Another Awesome game, very realistic. The tracks are superb reproducted (I'm from Brazil and scared how they made incredible reproduction from the Nelson Piquet track). The gameplay mechanics are very good and enjoyable without any piece of slowdown (runs smootly at 30fps) the graphics are nice and much better than lot of racing games for PS2 (for example, that EA NFS last ports). Another important thing: this is the OFFICIAL LICENSED GAME then wait all fidelity reproducted: motors, racers, sponsors, everything is authorized and very well reproducted. If you like motocycles or racing you definitevely need play MotoGP4 an well executed game, official product and very enjoyable moto racyng experience exclusive for your PlayStation 2.… Expand

    Can't believe the low scores reviewers are giving this game, Moto GP 4 it's a amazing game if played in the right way: FULL SIM, NO HELPS, FULL LAPS! I have almost any MotoGP game (XBOX and PS2) so far and this is a very good and solid one , graphics are not the best (replays are awesome realistic thought) but the gameplay is very realistic, the feeling when braking a Moto GP Can't believe the low scores reviewers are giving this game, Moto GP 4 it's a amazing game if played in the right way: FULL SIM, NO HELPS, FULL LAPS! Climbing throught the classes and "realisticaly" upgrading the bikes is a fantastic idea. The AI is good and give you a good feeling of being there on a real race. The best and more realistic of the series on PS2 and much better than the XBOX's MotoGP3, and in some aspects better than the still amazing MotoGP2 on XBOX.… Expand

    I agree with the comments made by D.D, it appears that nearly everyone who has reviewed this game has absolutely no interest in motorcycling or motorcycling games, its no wonder the game got such a low score. Considering the age of the Playstation 2 the graphics are detailed enough and the animation is excellent. The game is definately for the more simulation minded, as it is best played with all sim settings on and through the riders view perspective, with virtua bugs on your visor and all! The feeling of realism is great tearing down a straight at over 200mph. The other classes are a good introduction and help to build your skill before moving onto the GP class bikes (a whole different story), with simulation mode on you will have trouble staying on the track if you dont carefully control the power. What can I say, if you are into bikes you will love this game, if not then why would you buy a motor cycle sim anyway? All in all much more exciting than the four wheeled GT4. My only complaints, some collisions are a little unrealistic, but other than that the game Rocks!… Expand

    This is the third moto gp game released on the ps2 system. The games have become more and more evolved as they have come out and it seems the franchise is trying to give you a reason to keep buying the latest version. Upon starting the disc there is An obvious push in the intro to make sure you are aware of what's new. I would say this is probably the best version of moto gp on the ps2 as it's moving more and more away from arcade to sim, yet still retains a good enough arcade feel. In saying that though the gameplay is still pretty much the same. No damage and it seems scripted where you can slide out. It seems all play engines are based on these scripted areas and not so much the true physics of the vehicles. At some points in tight corners I did notice some weird slowdown that did not exist in the previous versions but that probably goes to show that what you get on this disc is about the maximum the generation can handle. It's a fun decent game with a lot of options. You now collect points for upgrades and have a chance to play around a bit with other customizations.… Expand

    I first bough this in 2002 and I still play it today! I think from other views racing fans have totally misunderstood Moto GP 4's genius. The graphics and slightly poor and there's few options other than the different classes, the season is pretty tedious and after all this it actually quite easy. What this game is genius at is having the best track representations and the most realistI first bough this in 2002 and I still play it today!     Con este juego puede disfrutar del mundial de Moto gp, 125 cc y 250 cc, además de numerosos desafios, y una tienda donde podía comprar pilotos, fotos, vídeos o circuitos. La gran pega que le pondría yo al juego, es que es muy previsible, y todos los pilotos acababan siempre en la misma posición aunque se cayesen . Aceptable juego en aquel 2006

    Esta 4 entrega de la saga MOTOGP y la ultima desarrollada por Namco, es una cúspide de su obra, mas circuitos, mas pilotos, mas tipos de competición, adictivo y completo. físicas muy buenas y IA ajustable para todo tipo de jugadores. entretenido. La mejor entrega de este tipo para la vieja PS2. recomendable

    Those afternoons playing with my uncle are unforgettable. It had amazing graphics for its time. One of the best driving games for ps2.

    This is the first motorbike game that i played and it has a very special place in my heart, incredible game.
