    This game generally had some problems. To start off, optional races in the game have ridiculously easy opponents that drive at 75 mph! Also, the games traffic is limited and the cops chase you for 5 seconds before they give up. Graphics and damage is sloppy, but I liked some parts despite the flaws. The handling is easy to maneuver, if too fast paced with faster cars. There are abundantThis game generally had some problems.     Masterpiece ! Way better than any nfs game in terms of gameplay the game got that feel of swiftness and speed, the world design is masterfully crafted that makes every race a non linear fun ride unlike the nfs games, the variety of cars, in fact the game more than 85 vehuicle from tuners to muscles cars to sport

    Remix is even better than the original. With a new city (Tokyo from MC II), new vehicles and new songs, this $20 re-release is a steal. If you've never played a Midnight Club game before, than you should start with this one. It's the best game in the series. I would rate it with a 9 of 10.

    This game is absolute nightmare in case of game-play and absolute masterpiece at car customization. After at least 15 retries all the wonderful music and amazing cars will annoys you so strong that you never ever notice how good they are. AI is nightmare. Classic Rockstar Games insane cops. But instead of cops they are racers! What about cops? Just double berserk behavior of racers and youThis game is absolute nightmare in case of game-play and absolute masterpiece at car customization.     SENSATIONAL!! He was a great competitor of NFS! But Rockstar did well with this game, but surely, came in 2nd place, under the Greater NFS! There's some bug, errors of images and some errors in the game but loved it when I ran with my car in those lanes! EPIC!

    10/10. Genuinely one of the most fun games I have ever played. It's pleasingly somewhat old-school and really freakin' arcade-y. Great fun, good replay value (especially with the Tokyo bit), and the best in a pretty fantastic series, arguably one of the top games in its generation.

    One of the best racing games I have played, lots of customization possibilities and overall good gameplay. For it's time the graphics were superb. Even to this day the graphics are decent for being on the ps2. Races can sometimes be frustrating, but it makes winning more rewarding In my opinion. Great soundtrack as well.

    This game is good however the frame rate like Max Payne 2 dips when a lot of action is going on on-screen. The 3rd best game in the franchise after LA and Midnight Club 2.

    Amazing and frustating at the same time: IA are the one of the most hard that I have encourted in a racing game. Every 3 cities are so many shortucuts, hidden jumps and little roads that never stop to surprise the player. Loading screen music are amazing (Even better than racing ones) and cutscenes reveal lot of fun and never let you to skip them.

    For me is the best car racing game among a vast catalog of racing games out there. I understand that the storyline behind it is not very good, but you should not expect a good storyline from a racing game. What makes this game such an incredible racing game are the cities, the vast list of cars and motorcycles, the soundtrack, the customization and the racing tracks. The customization in this game without a doubt is the best, you can customize everything.     If you ever wanted to know what garbage played like then you should definitely try this piece of trash out. Major blessings to everyone that reads this rant until the end:

    The worst case of rubberband AI? Check. I also love what I call the surprise nitro. Well surprise nitro is basically when the enemies already used nitro like 20 times while you're only allowed 2-3 or if you're driving    If you ever wanted to know what garbage played like then you should definitely try this piece of trash out. Well surprise nitro is basically when the enemies already used nitro like 20 times while you're only allowed 2-3 or if you're driving behind an enemy, you can charge up your nitro for a free use, you're currently on the first spot right in front of the finish line and then the enemy uses nitro AGAIN to steal the victory, making you repeat some of the worst courses in racing game history.

    Talking about the AI and unfairness of it. Imagine this: you're driving a course in a city filled up with traffic to the brim, being the human that you are, you will inadvertently crash into some traffic cars from time to time. The enemy? Well they're basically the Michael Schumachers of street racing. 0 errors whatsoever, they will slow down whenever you're last, just to give you the illusion of a winning chance but other than that, they drive flawlessly. Every lane is filled up with multiple cars due to traffic? Perfectly dodged. A bus or a truck riding through a crossing and blocking off your path? Perfectly dodged.

    Speaking about the traffic. You're gonna love it. Whenever you're driving in a lane, out of f*cking nowhere a car decides to turn into exactly that lane and make you crash.
    You wanna drift around the corner? Well 9 times out of 10 there's gonna be some car or truck awaiting you, just for you to crash in
    Oh you're first and driving through a crossing? Surprise bus that appears at the perfect time just for you and decides to block off the ENTIRE street, just for you to crash

    Cops: Now this might be the biggest bs of the game. So the premise is that the game is about street racing, right? And street racing involves multiple contenders, roundabout 6-8, right? Well not to the cops. They will blatantly ignore any of your enemies and ONLY chase and crash into you. You have no idea how much these POS caused me a race because they either try to slam you, block off a corner or drive in front of you, so you get slowed down. Whoever made the AI for them - I hope you burn in hell.

    Respawning: This is the most amazing part of the game. So if you're ever crashing into a building or a getting flipped over, guess where the game respawns you? No, not on the street, that would actually make this a good game ike NFS Underground. No, no, no, this game respawns you right at the f*cking wall of the building. So from there you need to reverse and THEN get back in the lane. It makes you lose a couple of valuable seconds, so have fun catching up to the best AI in existence

    Story: There is none. You get a couple of cutscenes with the most cliched characters ever. A mechanic mexican whose every second word is ese? Check.

    Music: Man out of all the good hip hop tracks that you could've put in, Rockstar puts in some of the biggest garbage songs of all time, including artists that never stood the test of time when you'll hear the songs, you'll know why. The only question that always accompanies me while listening to the music is: Who on god's green earth thought to themself, Man this is some really good music to be street racing to ?!?! How can games like Need for Speed Underground/ Most Wanted or Burnout 3 hit the note perfectly (pun intended) but this game just flat out butchers it.

    In conclusion: Do yourself a favor, save your nerves and stay the f away from this steamin' pile of garbage that reeks of the most disgusting trash you've ever touched.

    Played it for the first time couple days ago. Before this game I played MC LA and I absolutely loved it because it stood out of the most racing games out there in terms of adrenaline, car assortment, atmosphere, style and whatever. So I wanted to know how the previous game was doing since it had the much greater car choice and had me hyped up for playing it. And it didn't disappoint as itPlayed it for the first time couple days ago. Before this game I played MC LA and I absolutely loved it because it stood out of the most racing games out there in terms of adrenaline, car assortment, atmosphere, style and whatever. So I wanted to know how the previous game was doing since it had the much greater car choice and had me hyped up for playing it. And it didn't disappoint as it amazed me how even in a stock crappy eclipse I could feel like I were driving a supercar, the pace in races is just ridiculously fast. The streets style is also there, I can grab my good old 300C and put gold 22 inch rims and trim on it and feel like I'm just pimped out of the galaxy. I guess MC3 has everything for everyone: tuners, muscle, luxury, SUVs and bikes. Just tell me when was the last time when you saw 2001 Mercedes CL500, G wagon or Escalade in a racing game?... Exactly!

    So I have been riding for like 7 hours and I've only enjoyed it so far. I have only 2 complaints about the game, and I will start with the difficulty. First hours are chilling and winning is not a big deal but later on mc3 showed its true face as the game becomes excessively hard to beat and it won't let you relax, you literally have to fight for the victory. I heard about the difficulty of the game before but I wouldn't have thought that it's THAT wild, I would just go over 200 mph in every race and either get crashed into crazy traffic or get bodied by other racers or just roll over after jumping from the ramp, sometimes it gets really annoying and I didn't even complete 25% of game lol. In the comparison with MC LA this one feels too hardcore (but still a fun game, even though I don't know if I will be able to complete it).

    And finally, the graphics, engine sound and overall technical part seems to be dated and that's why the game needs to be remastered (and it definitely deserves it). If you are not indifferent to 2000s car and hip-hop culture and wish to get loads of enormous street racing action but somehow you are not into NFS Underground then consider playing Midnight Club 3.

    The cars look and sound great. The cities are nicely detailed, and the game delivers a fantastic sense of speed and danger. However, the trial-and-error racing system stops being fun long before you win the last race. Save yourself time and money, and just punch yourself in the face repeatedly. In the end, it's more enjoyable and less frustrating than playing this game.

    The only reason i gave this game a ten was so i could put a nice big -- in front of it. this game sucks big donkey ones and i would much perfer NFS most wanted Back Edition.

    yeah this game pertty clean and i would recomend anyone who likes to have nice rides and role in nothing but ghetto fabulus cars to play this game.

They're all licensed and realistic. The cities(yes, there's four of them!) sprawl out with lots of streets and backroads. There is a Career Mode which lets you advance through the cities, and it has plenty to offer. Want to take aMidnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix is a masterpiece. It goes beyond what a street racing game should be. It has tons of cars, which allows tons of customization. They're all licensed and realistic.     the problem with this game is the sound of the car engines, there is no difference whether the car is strong or weak. MIDNIGHT CLUB 3 is definitely the most complete game when it comes to car tuning, you can create multiple versions of the same car that's perfect!

    Best racing game of all time. It has almost everything you could want from a game like this. Fantastic vehicle list, great customization, banger soundtrack, fun and frantic gameplay, multiple cities to race in, special power ups to spice up gameplay, the game often encourages you to try out new vehicles, and the best arcade mode in any racing game hands down. A must play title.

    One of the best PS2 racing games of all time, also best in the Midnight Club series. So much more content added to an already great base game, and has a great amount of challenge. Car customization being completely optional as well makes it stand up higher than most Need For Speed titles even today.

    The complete MC 3 experience....if the DUB edition was not enough to satisfy you, then the remix includes a who;le lot more content, plus there is Tokyo city to drive around in. MC3 was by far the better game than the first two. It had better cars, a more tolerable set of characters, and the customization was easy to get to grips with and vast.

    The big new addition is Tokyo. Fortunately, the developers have made the city available by default right on the menu screen, so for those of you worried that you might have to play through the original three cities to get to the new stuff, worry not.
