Sep 30, 2021MGS3 has some of the best written characters and dialogue in anything I've ever watched or played, and has some of the best, and most challenging, gameplay in any stealth game. The bosses are perfect, the level design is great. There is so much detail in every room it's wild. It is without a doubt my favorite Metal Gear game, and probably my favorite stealth game.

Aug 15, 2023Playing that on the PS2 was something else back in the day. I didn't even understood English, and got hooked either way. Great to see it is finally coming to PC (even if that Konami collection seems kinda lazy)

Apr 28, 2021Best game hands down.
I find myself playing this game over and over... there's a certain vibe to the game , you can tell that the game is well made .Deserves every positive review.
I got no complain ... It was so well made that I think the game was too short.
This game made me love the MGS franchise. -
Jan 26, 2023Hello, this is a default review because i'm forced to use 75 characters. I'll edit this review in the future talking about the game, don't worry ;)
My final rate is: 10 -
May 5, 2023My favorite Metal Gear Solid and my fourth favorite game of all time. They took a nearly perfect video game and made it even better.

Jul 28, 2023Never has an expansion made a perfect game more perfect. MGS3 is completely timeless. Subsistence more so. It takes a while to get used to but after that no other shooter will do. Played it first time 2 years ago and now can’t play anything but Metal Gear.
Will I ever find a game better?
(Apart from Gran Turismo 4 naturally)

PSM MagazineImproving on one of the best games ever couldn't have been an easy job, but Kojima Productions was able to do it. They packed this director's cut of "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater", a thrilling and cinematic military stealth action game, so full of tweaks and extras, we wish our review scale went to 11. [Apr 2006, p.73]

Subsistence's awe-inspiring single-player adventure outclasses every other stealth game in existence, including the previous MGS titles. It's the perfect blend of gripping narrative, nuanced gameplay, astonishing (nearly next-gen) graphics, and creative boss battles. [Apr. 2006, p.98]

Subsistence goes a long way towards remedying the few problems of ["Snake Eater"] with a brand new camera system that literally rejuvenates the gameplay. The online mode adds a ton of replay value as well, and has dozens of options to keep you returning to blow away friends late into the night.
