    I can not believe that this game is below normal HE WAS EPIC WHEN I WAS PLAYING!! WAS THE ONLY GAME THAT GAVE TO DESTROY BUILDINGS AND HOUSES TO SEE MY!! PERSONAL, WHAT VOCES ARE DOING??? man

    Surely this isn't a finished product. It took around 20 minutes from putting in the disc to actually beginning the mission cutscene, which was very buggy/full of audio lag and eventually just froze. I'll bet they're hoping not many people buy this version, or else I can see a class action lawsuit in someone's future. :) Shame on you, Pi Studios.     It's basically Mercs 1 in a new location. If you look closely at the map, it's almost laid out the same as the first. Except the whole center of the map is water now.
    I'm still on the fence as far as what i think of the game. It's really fun and it's true to what the first one was as far as gameplay goes.     Everybody agrees that Mercenaries 2 isn't that good. If Mercenaries 2 was the first game and Mercenaries was the second, it might make a little more sense, because everybody also agrees that the first one beats the hell out of this piece of shit. The only reason why I gave this horrible game a 10 is because, for kids like me who like to cause havoc but aren't allowed to play M Everybody agrees that Mercenaries 2 isn't that good.     I'm sorry, but this game was one of the biggest disappointments to come out on the PS2. For one, the story line was a complete disaster. From start to finish, this game took roughly 4 hours to beat. One of my friends has this game for the Xbox 360 and he said that it took him about 10 hours to beat, and he's a good gamer, so obviously, they left things out.     No matter what people say but many things to destroy,plot where mercenaries just wants theirs revenge,money and war intesities(no good vs evil),interesting factions and their bases,the war vibes,funny dialogues,missions that keep the mood,open world,collectible things,airstrikes, foggy graphics,thriller Hispanic music...Best game for me.PS3 version has some extra good missions and polishedNo matter what people say but many things to destroy,plot where mercenaries just wants theirs revenge,money and war intesities(no good vs evil),interesting factions and their bases,the war vibes,funny dialogues,missions that keep the mood,open world,collectible things,airstrikes, foggy graphics,thriller Hispanic music...Best game for me.PS3 version has some extra good missions and polished graphics but feels more happy whats dont fit in some ways but ok. What this version has better are scripted and random battles between factions on streets or jungle. Like US tanks vs Chinesse APC or guerillas helicopters vs Solano troops. AI works better there than in newer version. Also helicopter pilot mission there is harder and a lot what not should be everyone taste but interesting. Some graphic details arent polished perfectly and save game system not work well sometimes but whatever. Thats small things.… Expand

    Mercs 2 looks worse, plays worse and is just plain worse than the groundbreaking original. Why this watered-down version was even published is a mystery...Mercenaries 2 on PS2 is a bad game. 'Nuff said.
