Baseball games are pretty inconsistent imo and honestly i haven't found one to even come close to Ken Griffey Slugfest on the N64. Ive tried the MVP's for ps2 and have hated them so I tried 2k8 that i picked up for a dollar in pristine shape at a pawn shop. Ive tried the MVP's for ps2 and have hated them so I tried 2k8 that i picked up for a dollar in pristine shape at a pawn shop. I've enjoyed 2k football and basketball and wanted to give this one a try. The gameplay is really crisp and executed visually about as well as it could be for 2007 ps2 era. However the controls are very skittish and can cost you a game at any given moment. the pitching is very odd and can also cost you a game due to random wild pitches. Its also extremely difficult. to win or make consistent contact. While it has a crisp visual presentation the controls and glitches are everywhere. Had i have bought this for anything over 5$ i would've wanted my money back. Expand

  1. While "MLB 08 The Show" has stolen our hearts, MLB 2K8 demands respect - and a little love too.
