The film was alot of fun to watch, the game was not fun to play with its bad visuals, poor voice acting and a story that makes this game more like an action/thriller than a comedy.

This is a great old game. It has been many years since its release. I liked the characters and the enemies are not bad.

There are few solid gameplay elements, such as some clever use of Rita’s grappling hook, but the overall feel of the game screams “rush job” from nearly every angle. The music is generic, the VO is repetitive, the overall presentation is extremely bland, and the gameplay is chalk full of quirky execution.
  2. While we're pleasantly surprised with Flushed Away, that doesn't mean it ignores all of the typical problems for licensed games made on the quick. The camera is pretty crazy at times (especially when you're attempting to control it, oddly enough), and the controls are awkward.

Meant for younger gamers, Flushed Away lacks the lemon-fresh tinge that would separate it from all the other cartoon platformers clogging the system. [Christmas 2006, p.96]
