RanshiinDec 29, 2007A game that suffers from a few flaws, but still provides an ample amount of fun. The battle system is interesting, although the battles themselves seldom provide enough of a challenge to necessitate the crafting of any intricate strategies. Music is enjoyable, graphics are average, and travel on the world map is often disorienting, but the monsters are fun, and that's what counts the most.

Nov 4, 2015I never once thought I would say this about anything Digimon, but stop. Just stop. Bandai is ruining the good name of Digimon. The battle system is ridiculously under thought and the desire to keep playing is nonexistent.

Apr 16, 2014Fun game that has a short storyline but it has numerous different while poison only has the set evolutions. Great game to play when bored and any digimon fan will love it.

Aug 28, 2020A really fun digimon game with cool graphics. It carries on from Digimon World 3 and 2 with it's battle mode but the game is unique enough to have it's own charm.
This era was a strange time for Digimon but atleast we got a decent game out of it.

Fans of the series might find it entertaining to rescue kidnapped kids while battling the Seven Demon Kings, but most people will find precious little to enjoy.

Hardcore GamerI'll be honest here: Data Squad really isn't going to make a lot of converts. [Oct 2007, p.60]

The only thing we can say in this game’s defense is that it’s not necessarily broken. As annoying as it may be, the game is still technically playable, and you can still understand the plot if you want to.
