The PS2's library is already stocked with at least four snowboarding games that are infinitely better than this. [Jan 2002, p.83]
  2. It's not as good as Shaun Palmer or Tricky, but it does a good job of extending the playability with the mission-based levels.
  3. Has the 'I've gotta see what's next' feeling of excitement around every corner.
  4. Not exactly disappointing, but falling far short of what I'd call a really fun title, Dark Summit is a unique, innovative title.

This game features such pretentious bad taste that you'll first wonder if the developers are really stupid or really smart. [Jan 2002, p.126]
