This game may not be as innovative most action/playformers out there, but Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex has some extremely new content, incredible and imaginative levels and bosses, and a huge amount of unlockables, abilities, and crazy ideas to fill you up with praise. Get this game.

One of the most underrated titles. Just because it wasn't made by naughty dog people undermined it. Not innovative though and much like Crash 3 but still good.

I am a die hard fan of crash bandicoot franchise, they are some of the best games ever. We had of course the first game witch was flawed but still good, the second witch is my favourite in the series, the third my second favourite, crash team racing witch was awesome, crash bash witch was pretty fun and then we got wrath of cortex witch I think is fantasic. Despite the negative reception, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex is a fantastic platformer with great level design, smooth controls and plenty of extras (through the form of time trial relics and hidden gems for each level) to create an almost-perfect Crash Bandicoot game.
Only complainants are the load times (which can last up to 25 seconds) and the large amount of "gimmick" levels

It's basically one of the best Crash Bandicoot Games, the only problem is the loading times

The graphics on this game are nice, and the game is fun to play, but the load times are terrible. It also doesn't have very many of the original running-foward Crash levels that I liked so much.

It's basically the same thing, same moves, same ideas. Different platform, a lot of loading time, horrible backs with pink and blue bubbles but I'm still a marsupials fan.

I give it a nine because everything is great except the load time. In all the others it loads really fast, like in 5 seconds.

I know it is basically the same as all the other crash games but I have only played and completed crash 1, so I think that it is good but the loading times are a little slow.

The one big problem, which everyone probably has a problem with, was the loading times. The loading screen took forever and killed any good vibes going into a level. Besides that i like the gameplay, the graphics looked good for an early PS2 crash game and the levels were pretty good. Don't know how people thought they were flat i though they were fine. I think its a great game and i cant wait for a new game to come out. Alot of rumors saying a reboot will happen in 2016 for the PS4. Lets keep our fingers crossed Expand

With imaginative sequences and bosses, The Wrath of Cortex is a good game. It's loading screens and lack of an enticing story hurts the game overall however.

The only Crash Bandicoot game on the PS2 that looks a bit like the Crash Bandicoot games on the PS, but less fun to play. Too bad that the Crash games after this one only got from bad to worse, totally abandoning everything that was good about the original Crash Bandicoot games.

-Gráficos: Miren, muchos me van a matar acá...

Super fun game! It's obvious that it mimics previous incarnations of Crash, created by Naughty Dog, and does it nicely! I really like it (long hours were spend on it and I don't regret it)!

  1. Not only is the gameplay un-revised on this much more powerful platform, but much of the former joy in the series has been drained away. The characters, levels and gameplay are essentially flat.

A decent playing and pretty looking Crash Bandicoot game. It's nothing terribly special, but it's not bad, not bad at all.
  3. A by the books sequel that takes playing it safe to a new level. Come on guys this easily could have been done on the PS One and it probably should have.
