Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity is a video game from a series with quite a level such as Code Lyoko, but it is simply a video game that only the most fans of the series will like given its poor level, which delves into good ideas but does not know carry out.

Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity is a video game from a series with quite a level such as Code Lyoko, but it is simply a video game that only the most fans of the series will like given its poor level, which delves into good ideas but does not know carry out.

*HISTORY*: XANA tries to completely destroy Lyoko's world, but Jeremie and Aelita manage to reprogram Sector 5, while the only possible way to locate XANA is by exploring the Digital Sea.

Quest for Infinity presents a poor adaptation of the script of the fourth season of the series, which is possibly the best season, given that I don't understand how incomprehensibly uninspired and boring the story of this one is.

*GAMEPLAY*: Quest for Infinity presents a gameplay with a good base, but very improvable to be 100% enjoyable.
Jumps very improvable, very basic platforms, the targeting is bad and the skills are poorly worked. You can't even control the camera.
The fighting in the Digital Sea is very heavy and boring because they are always more of the same, and too many times.
Odd Della Robbia, as a character, is far above the others; In the end you just play with this one.

*GRAPHICS*: Very faithful to the style of the series, but this is sometimes insufficient in the video game, which may be bland and ugly sometimes.
Some exclusive additions to the video game would not have been bad.

*SOUND*: Soundtrack very wasted. Many original tracksfor the videogame are used, but having the original soundtrack, which is very remarkable, I don't understand its little use.
Most of the sound effects are not very inspired and are original, that is, they are not those of the original series.

*INNOVATION*: Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity is a missed opportunity. Too bad, because a VR videogame of this, in my opinion, would be a success.

Code Lyoko fans: if you're tragically desperate to play a Code Lyoko game, I suppose you could rent this one, but I wouldn't recommend it. This title just can't overcome its many mechanical problems and the overall experience isn't satisfying.
  2. If I could say one thing about Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity, it would be that it's has to be one of the most formulaic games I've ever seen.
  3. The game suffers from a decided lack of control, the fixed camera should’ve been completely reformatted, the environments are unappealing, the story isn’t worth following, and the gameplay as a whole falters big time.
