    Yeah, its basically the same game, but it is fun to play. The side quests and the option to return to planes that have been completed are a welcome addition. Return to Arms would have received a 9 if there were not an annoying bug in the very last boss fight. I simply could not rotate the camera without the game being stuck. Other than that, I am very satisfied that Sony and Snowblind Yeah, its basically the same game, but it is fun to play.     It takes everything about the genre and puts it together in one comprehensive package. Unfortunately, though it still remains a fun experience...you feel like you played it all somewhere before. On top of that...the story is seriously lacking for an RPG. Even if it is an Action RPG.

    Very similar to the last CON that is my only complaint. I've finished the game at all levels and am just about to start the side levels. I imagine it will be another 2-3 weeks before I tire of it.

    Great hack n'slash game play and the online features are a big improvement from the last game. Gameplay is similar to the last version but that isn't a bad thing and not worth losing marks on. If this were Madden (i.e. same game every year with a few updates), everybody would have given it a 10.

    This game is great. it has lots of great thing from lots of different games like gauntlet legends, and baulders gate, as well as d&d Heros. I LOVE THIS GAME

    This game is the same stuff just a bit harder in diffuculty...i do love the option of secure game or insecure games its very helpful to separate the boys from the men.

    Absolutely love this game! The story is a little weak but the game play beats any hack and slash dungeon crawler ever made. It looks beautiful and moves quick enough that it's impossible to get bored and put down the controller I wish developers would make more games like this one. Plus there is nothing more fun than having a friend over or 3 for some excellent co-op action. A PC portAbsolutely love this game!     This game is good but I can't say its the best RPG Its just you must like something else then this game whell, it is a very long which is great more fun but the ending between good and bad makes it no good I would expect a better ending and better story from a good company with good graphics the ending is something you expect from a kid seriously!

    my favorite game of all time lots of great memories wish they would make another one
    will never happen snow blind studios merged with monolith productions and now make what seems to be only lord of the rings games which i'm not interested in
    sucks a new champions game could really be something amazing with all the new game engines and effects wide open worlds with awesome weapon drops

    This is PS2 RPG perfection! People keep a PS3 around just to play this game! You will love this game and can import your characters from Champions of Norrath too!

    This was one of the better RPG games that you could customize your character and all. I played this game for quite awhile until like most online games, the cheats ruined it. It was still fun to play, even after so long as you watched who you played with. Another great game to go down in the era of PS2.

    Well well well... The critics didn't think this one was that great. This is one of those rare games where the critics were kind of wrong. This is actually a VERY good game when it comes to replay value, coop with a friend, and rpg hack and slash fun. It's honestly the king of those kinds of games but on a console. The critics did give it that but they also gave it 6's and 7's. Not kool dude. This isn't destiny lol. That's a game that royally makes you mad in less than a days worth of play time. This game on the other hand makes you want to quit your job/school and just str8 up play all night with a buddy.… Expand

    I don't like RPGs but this one has a different and cool gameplay even though I haven't finished the story I liked the corpse system not disappearing

    This is a very simple rpg with simple controllers and mechanics, still, it's one of my favorite games ever, mainly because of the local co-op that goes up to 4 players, but also because of the attention to details by the developers.
    Every level has it's twist, you will get 4/5 new enemies every level, with unique bosses and secrets, I've played this game for years and there is still stuff    This is a very simple rpg with simple controllers and mechanics, still, it's one of my favorite games ever, mainly because of the local co-op that goes up to 4 players, but also because of the attention to details by the developers.
    Every level has it's twist, you will get 4/5 new enemies every level, with unique bosses and secrets, I've played this game for years and there is still stuff I've not seen yet.
    Most abilities are very original and creative, you can become a giant lizard, invoke skeletons, ressurrect any enemie in the game to help you, use hypnosis, teleport
    Or just poop and fart on enemies.
    Truly one o the hidden gems in ps2    … Expand

    There's a whole new story, working multiplayer, thousands of new items, new mini-games and sidequests, new classes to play, and the ability to play evil and good plot paths. On the other side of the coin is gameplay that most of us have seen before, following the same formula, and not taking any real chances in the process.
