Jun 25, 2019One of the best games they ever made.
Would play it again, might gonna buy it again. -
AnonymousMCJun 9, 2009I played this game a few year back but have very fond memories of it. Awesome fun sneaking through the fog and ripping the hearts out of the enemy! Story line and voice acting are iconic for me. Would love to see a sequel on some modern hardware. I don't think he metacritic score is a fair rating of this game.

B.DaleyFeb 23, 2003The original Blood Omen was a wonderful game, this one is wonderfully tedious. The level based play is the same thing over and over, and the fighting isn't even as good as Soul Reaver. Skip this piece of bile and play the original.

Feb 11, 2022Sucking blood gets too repetitive, otherwise game has some cool mechanics and fun to play. Liked the gameplay much more than SR2

May 30, 2023this is indeed a quality game! It has a very good gameplay, a lot of graphic violence, bodies don't disappear (I love that), really cool supernatural powers like super jump and invisibility

Not only did it make me sit and play it every spare moment I had until completion, it also made me want to pick up "Soul Reaver" and play it through again.
-
Even with the ordinary combat and rather tedious puzzles, Blood Omen 2 still manages to be compelling enough to keep you playing to the end, which is a testament to the overall presentation and varied locales.
-
Controls are rather stiff and PC-like, giving you less maneuverability than desired.
