    A very underrated title.
    Do not look at critic scores, play it for yourself and judge.
    It is fairly long and has lots of unlockables. Very fun mechanics. The plot is very simple and cartoony, I like that, it works nicely with the series. You can play as both Asterix and Obelix and alternate between theme for various situations. Some fun puzzles and lots of chaotic and fun combat. I    A very underrated title.

    The story is pretty simple, just like in the movies.
    The characters are really faithful to their comic and movie versions and Asterix's redesign was awesome.
    Where the game truly shines is it's gameplay. Such dynamic combat system, really satisfyng and simple. It's always enjoyable and keeps the perfect balance between puzzles, platforming and combat. It has various mini-game sections    The story is pretty simple, just like in the movies.

    The voice acting is also pretty good for the type of game this is.
    The level design is perfect.

    The soundtrack. Oooh, the soundtrack.
    It's phenomenal.
    Such energetic and fast paced atmospheric music.
    It fits completely into the Asterix and Obelix series.
    Sadly, it's really hard to describe the genre of the soundtrack but that doesn't matter as the OST is amazing.
    It has a big amount of unlockables.

    I hated the comic books, I hated those damn movies and I hate them now! I don't care what anyone says THEY SUCK!!!

    For a new game that is only priced at $19.99, it is a good value. The fighting is rewarding and the content is suitable for kids (which is a nice change). It is not so hard that you will give up (hey all of us aren't game pros!). For just clean fun at a reasonbale price it is worth it!

    If your an Asterix fan you'll love it, I know I do. It is not for the advanced gamer, but most of us are just average and this is a good game that you don't have to worry about turning off if someone younger comes in the room.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 'Asterix & Obelix: Kick Buttix' чудова гра про двох відважних галів, які знову будуть боротися проти Цезара і рятувати своїх друзів.
    Сюжет починається з того, що всіх жителів селища галів викрадают та поневолюють, поки Астерікс і Обелікс були на полюванні. Побачивши, що селище палає, герої поспішають на допомогу. Знайшовши та звільнивши друїда Гетафікса, вони узнають, що всіх друзів Цезар розіслав по всій Римській Імперії і розбив кам'яну мапу, щоб ніхто не зміг визначити місцезнаходження кожного із полонених. Але Гетафікс викрав шматок мапи і віддає Астеріксу і Обеліксу. Завдання: звільнити друзів і перемогти Цезара раз і назавжди.
    Геймплей: Гра представляє із себе екшн, beat'em up з елементами платформера. Кожен із персонажів має свої переваги и здібності. Основні елементи керування, це стрибок, удар, дія(захопити ворога або застосувати рушій), ривок та натравити песика Догматікса або Обелікса. Коли ви б'єтесь з римлянами у вас заповнююєтся "Панель Комбо", якщо її заповнити до кінця, то персонажі будуть бити швидше і сильніше, а також можна використовувати "Комбо Прийоми", які використовують одну чи більше полоску панелі. У грі є магазин, де ви за містну валюту (римлянські шоломи), можете купити поповнення (м'ясо вепра)або покращення (Щіти) здоров'я, та придбати Комбо Прийоми. Видів ворогів також немало: звичайні римляни, генерали в золотій броні, лучники, вікінги, черепаха із римлян, леви, гладіатори та римляні на реактивних ранцях, а також боси в виді великих броньованих машин, до кожної якої є своя тактика. Локації великі та просторі, ви побуваєте в засніжених горах Нормандії, в пустелі Єгипту, а також в самому Римі! На кожній локації сховані золоті вінки, якщо зібрати всі на рівні, ви отримаєте новий костюм.
    На PlayStation 2 гра іде чудово, але іноді частота кадрів понижується коли на екрані багато ворогів, це не критично.
    Із мінусів це те, що немає кооперативного режиму і це дивно, два персонажі на вибір, а грати може тільки один гравець.
    Рекомендую гру к проходженню, адже це одна з найкращих ігор про Астерікса та Обелікса!    … Expand

    This is the first game i've ever played. I entered the ''game world'' with this game. i have so much memories on that little game. Great times. i missed my childhood :)

    Wow, this game is very good! Tough bosses, lots of Roman helmets to collect and an amazing soundtrack, specially on Greece stage. it's the best stage of all!

    With graphics and audio that feel at least five years old and a clunky combo system that are all easily ignored, the puzzles and size of the game are what really make up the overall experience. The gameplay is decent, but just barely.
