    Amidst this catastrophe, a young girl and her brother struggle to survive. Yet the virus continues to mutate, and the world itself is quietly changing. Some who appear uninfected may have already undergone genetic transformations, while among the walking dead, certain individuals are gradually developing consciousness.

    The girl slowly discovers she possesses a unique ability: she can control certain zombies. Others like her - mutated yet asymptomatic - exist in the world, often bearing different powers, but are hunted by local warlord organizations for that very reason.
