    Oh my god, what a buggy mess. All they care is money, it feels like McMahon was behind creation of this game. R-i-d-i-c-u-l-o-u-s!

    If you buy this game it will send you to the crash city. Really bad game, not worth 5 bucks let alone 60.

    To preface this a bit, my group does mechanics and functionality testing for a community based in 2K19 that was looking to switch to 2K20. I'll get into the lengthy review below, but I'll summarize from as objective a position as I can manage for now.

    [The Good] - Loading times have been decreased. The game loads far more quickly than 2K19 did. [The Bad - Carried Over From 2K19    To preface this a bit, my group does mechanics and functionality testing for a community based in 2K19 that was looking to switch to 2K20. I'll get into the lengthy review below, but I'll summarize from as objective a position as I can manage for now.

    [The Good]
    - Loading times have been decreased. The game loads far more quickly than 2K19 did.

    [The Bad - Carried Over From 2K19 Directly]
    - The majority of Power Submissions are incorrectly coded and function off Technical Submission Offense and Defense.
    - There is a Submission Attribute Threshold where any Submission Offense amount under 80 is essentially functioning as 30.
    - The game fails to upload the most recently saved version of any character unless workarounds are adhered to, resulting in characters keeping an 84 Overall with default stats as opposed to whatever they may have been set with.
    - Move Modifiers - Low, Medium, and High - are mislabeled. Moves that are marked as having a High Modifier lack them and vice-versa. Each move must be checked in Practice Play to determine if a Modifier is actually present.
    - The physics will break down at times during matches, practice play, and entrances. Most common cause is a 3D object (such as a character's leg) clipping through the Ring Mat and getting trapped within the model.
    - Volume is not balanced for many of the "Generic" Entrance Tracks such as 80's 1-3, Goth 1-2, etc., leaving them rather quiet when compared directly the non-generic entrance themes.

    [The Bad - New In 2K20]
    - 3D Models feature many hard seams and holes. Example - An image placed on the Head and set to "Glow" will bleed through the entire character model save for areas around the wrists and ankles. An image set to glow on the Torso, meanwhile, will bleed through to the wrists and ankles.
    - Some Color Selection Menus within the Creation Suite do not function. Some options within the suite prompt you to select a color, but the cursor vanishes when you move to it. Your only options are hitting accept or backing out, leaving you unable to set colors on various parts.
    - The default glow-map is "green" and will bleed through / tint any color that is selected for the glow.
    - You cannot adjust the length of any pyro within Advanced Entrance Creation.
    - Lighting is tied to Entrance Motion within Advanced Entrance Creation and can only be overridden by utilizing a workaround.
    - Certain Attire Parts can break the character's 3D Model entirely; removing the face, top of the head, and stretching surrounding pieces wildly.
    - Entrance Attire Parts will not copy to the Ring Attire Slot when the Attire Type is set to Manager despite Manager allowing all parts in both slots.
    - Opacity settings are not saved for Face Paints, Tattoos, nor Images and will revert to 100 upon saving the character or part.
    - Characters can become trapped in animations such as running, walking, rolling, pinning, or attempting grapples; often forcing a match exit to fix.
    - Downloading a character from the Community Creations can lock the menu, trapping you in a permanent download screen that can only be exited by forcefully closing the game via Task Manager or ALT+F4.
    - Controls re-mapped within a match carry over to and complicate menu navigation.

    [The Subjective "Review" (My Opinion As A Whole)]
    I cannot personally recommend this game, nor can I buy into the idea that they had to rebuild it from the ground-up. There are far, far too many bugs, glitches, and "techniques" from 2K19 implemented in the exact same way and in the exact same places to be a rebuild. It seems far more likely that they copied and pasted parts of 2K19 to hasten development of 2K20 due to crunch.

    I can understand a bit of it with Yukes leaving during development, having a shortened development window, having to learn the engine and tools in full and teaching new hires the same - and I can guarantee this will be the primary excuse in the coming days as well as the go-to response for anyone defending this game - but, and this more likely stems from 2K rather than Visual Concepts, a game can be delayed to put out a better product.

    If you have the core developer of a series leave during development, it is my opinion that you should not push the game. Delay it and take the time necessary to make certain you have a functional and stable product. There is not any excuse whatsoever for a so-called "Triple-A" game from a multi-million dollar publisher being in this state.

    I fully understand that the majority of people that buy this game will not care about the things I listed above. Their concerns are primarily centered around graphics, hair physics, and roster additions. More power to them, and I sincerely hope they have fun with this game.

    Could it improve in the future? Perhaps. Patches, DLC, etc. I cannot personally see it when so many core functions of the game are inherently broken.

    As it stands right now? I cannot and will not recommend this game.    … Expand

    Wow, it's just unreal. Unreal how this game is able to get worse and worse year by year. Thank you, 2K Sports. I suppose the best think you can currently do is leave the gaming world, stop making games and leave a development process for people who actually love wrestling, not just love making money.

    Plot: exists. Clunky controls (keyboard). Semi-usable non-intuitive controls (gamepad). And it's in 'consoles first' development type game... Permanent performance issues. Resulting in permanent dramatic slowdowns. Yes, video is 60FPS. But the game's engine itself lags behind quite often, resulting in unintended slo-mo every once a while. Bugs, o, bugs!    A for Effort, I dare say.

    Bugs, o, bugs! Finished about 20 battles (8ppl ffa and 30ppl royal) and had no battle concluding without something weird happening during it.

    Still, seen worse (in other genres) and didn't seen anything better in this sub-genre :(

    Buuuut, if you're looking for a good game to have fun in - kindly look elsewhere. Chances are, you'll be frustrated and/or infuriated.    … Expand

Хваленный режим смешанных боёв - это просто смех, всё равно по факту мужчины дерутся с мужчинами, а женщины - с женщинами.     este juego es un desastre, no se puede jugar , casi todo tiene bugs, ha pasado casi un año y aunque sigue siendo sigue teniendo muchos de los bugs desde el inicio,
    realmente es un juego impresentable

    Is a bad game for a lot of motives,bugs,bad optimization,lack of content and the worst thing the prices,the game base is not worth is the most buggy game of the year,nothing really new if on least the price was low maybe i mean maybe someone could buy,they put some dlc to try let the things better,despite i like it the game is broken almost unplayable so on the end is not worth

    Is so awful, all 2k games are the same, it is fun to play if you have imagination if you play universe mode about my carrier i dont talk is so awful the 2k19 story was better and the open story. So is fun to play if you dont get crashed if you dont get bugged. WWE 2K20 Is so bugged

    The disastrous technical condition, poor graphics, butchered animations and bad camera are just a number of reasons why this game should not have been published that unfinished. Bugs and glitches destroy every second match and extreme loading times make waiting between matches a chore.

    WWE 2K20 closely aligns with much of the current WWE onscreen product. It features the most promising roster in history, yet manages to squander it with incompetence, all while expecting fans to lap it up like they always do.
