    The game would be great if it was actually playable. Right now there are literally bugs and crashes everywhere. I had 2 Universe modes going well til the game crashed and locked me out of both. I'm on my 3rd now solely due to the crashes. 2K should be ashamed of themselves for letting a game ship in this state. I imagine it'll need a couple of patches to get everything fixed.     Game is currently unplayable with its FPS only functioning within the range of 3-15. Loads fine and menus run fluidly, but once in a match, the game craps itself. Might be playable after updates.

    So I figured I would give this game a try since the main concern I have seen from other people in the gaming community. And I have to say I was very disappointed between the frame rate drops and every item in game being locked behind a bad loot crate system it just destroys my image of a good WWE game. When a company releases a game at full price I expect a challenge and not everything to be unlocked immediately however Loot Crates are the worst possible idea of "Safe Gambling" out there, we shouldn't have to spend any type of currency (Virtual or Physical) to unlock something that was intended to be in the product in the first place.. If anything all items should be listed in a virtual store which then can be bought with in game currency which could be earned through playing the game itself.

    Also learn to optimize your game 2k... It is one thing if I bought the game and didn't meet the System Requirements then sure I would be at fault.. However when your recommended requirements are less then what I have and the game still runs so poor that in a "One v One match" I am experiencing frame drops... come on... That itself is embarrassing. I played just under 2 hours in game maxing out my refund warrantee and I gave it a complete fair chance to impress me, which it didn't... My best advice to 2k is to listen to your fans.

    If you buy these games for the single player RPG mode, you will be extremely angry. You can no longer import CAWs into career mode. You must create your character for that mode with a wizard that offers limited options. Even with the Accelerator, everything in that mode is still gated behind a loot box mechanic. It's pretty clear that the microtransactions were removed last second after the blowback against NBA 2k18. Until they fix this and allow CAWs to be imported into career, avoid this game.

    On the actual game side, it looks a little better, the roster is large, gameplay is improved and the move list goes on for miles. There is a game worth owning under this nonsense, but until they fix this, unless you are getting it for universe mode or to do exhibitions, it's basically a broken game when compared to previous years.    … Expand

    this game is good.why the score is bad???
    aah sometimes it has very badly bugs and 2k have to fix it.but without see the bugs this is a nice game.

    Best wrestling game ever. if u having issues like lag or fps drop . please throw ur potato pc outside . i can play smooth average 110 fps . :)

    Absolutely amazing wrestling game. Huge roster, great universe mode and a fantastic my career mode and more. 10/10 highly recommend.

    Very good game. Had fun playing it on ps4. Favorite thing to do is making custom characters. Such a broad variety of items.

    WWE 2K18’s price gives you the right to expect a triple AAA product, but instead you get a shabby game that looks like it was thrown together hastily and as cheaply as possible. [13/2017, p.61]

    So the sport hasn’t changed apart from an increased roster, but if you have a previous installment of the series, you may as well stick to it, unless having the latest crop of pro wrestling stars is of utmost importance to you. But, if you’re looking to get into some wrestling for the PC, then the monopoly 2K Sports holds on licensed wrestling games means that even though WWE 2K18 has a heap of issues, it is unfortunately still the best available.
